First Class Travel

This is my second review for First Class Travel, and the second time Donna at First Class Travel has come through for me. First, let me say that I travel more than the average person. (Twice a year I leave the country for a month at a time.) Like many people today, I plan out most of my trips myself, and mostly book my own flights and accommodations on line. However, when I want to put together an itinerary for a trip that is more complicated than most I have found that Donna has not only made it easy, but has saved me money as well.
I was planning a month long trip to the Philippines and Thailand over the holiday season. Since I had never been to these two countries, I was making up my trip as I went along. For this trip, the only thing I really knew were the dates that I wanted to fly. I tried finding two separate flights, or book flights to two destinations on line but it was a bit harder than I thought. In addition, the flights I was looking at on line were not convenient and were more expensive than what I expected. After spending several hours over several days trying to get the flights that I wanted on line, I realized it was time to call Donna.
Donna remembered me even though I hadn’t used her services for over two years. Donna’s knowledge of airlines and flight schedules and her ability to combine flight made it possible for me to get the schedules I wanted at fares that were reasonable for the holiday season. In addition to that, I estimated that even with her fee, she saved me a few hundred dollars compared to what I would have paid if I tried to book the same flights myself on line. Donna also sold me trip insurance that would reimburse me if I needed to cancel my trip for any reason. This is important to me because unfortunately things do happen in life.
If your travel plans are not run of the mill (like a trip that involves multiple destinations on several flight) I would suggest using Donna at First Class Travel. She will save you time and aggravation.

Donna was awesome in helping me plan my honeymoon! She accommodated our location and price preference for hotels in each country. All the transportation was taken care of which made it so easy and relaxing to not have to worry about that before/​after our flights. She gave me tips on packing light. She was even available when I emailed her from Ireland. I will definitely use First Class Travel again. Thanks Donna!

I have always been weary about using a travel agent because I figured they would charge extra for their services. I am also the kind of person who loves to research things on my own and I am great at finding good deals online. Nothing could beat the deals I got booking through them though. I was planning a trip to Cabo San Lucas, and considering I had never been before, I wanted to make sure I booked a good trip. Donna gave me tons of options to choose from and the package included a car service from the airport and back to the airport at the end of the trip (that’s normally a $ 80 taxi ride each way). Donna was amazing and so helpful in answering my millions of questions. On top of that we saved so much money booking through them. The trip ended up being amazing and everything was so organized thanks to them. I will definitely be using this travel agency again for my next trip!

I was planning a trip to Europe and had no idea where to begin my husband is a very busy man so he said to hire a travel agent sine I had no clue where to even begin. We knew the dates but had nothing planned and needed to move quick.
I read reviews and thought that Donna would be awesome but I was extremeley dissappointed. We made an appointment and she really couldn’t tell us much about the hotels or tours or even what to expect. SHE just KEPT saying her computer was down. It was my 30^th birthday and wanted to stay at nice hotels and she put us in a best western in Paris then when we wanted to move to a nice hotel she kept saying it was a view of the effel tower but it actually was just of the city when we did more research would of been so dissappointed if we showed up thinking we had a view but did get one!
She seemed not to have traveled to Paris or Venice because she didnt kow much about it! She told us that we could just grab a water taxi but you can’t you have to schedule one or wait around 45 to an hour for one.
There was so many things that she forgot to tell us about… she even forgot to tell us that we had to check into our flights 36 hours before to get a seat on the way back from Europe since we thought she chose our seats but no she didn’t so I was stuck on a 8 hour flight in a middle seat!!!
She seem to have a sysytem that she just pluged in dates and they would give her an iternary because her sysytem was down and she literally couldn’t tell us anything!
She ended up only booked our flights because I was just getting so frusterated with her not being able to anwser any questions about room upgrades, better tours and different options so we eneded up having to plan the whole trip on our own!
I gave her 2 starts only because the flights she got were very cheap and we werre happy with that price. She may be good for someone with a budget or something low key but if your looking for something nice or upscale don’t go to her!

I had started to plan our first year anniversary trip on my own. I found myself overwhelmed and stressed so I decided to search for a travel agency. We found this place and Donna! She was amazing and did so much research for us. She got us the best deals and locations. She helped us book our whole trip to Europe, from plane tickets to car rentals, tours, itinerary etc etc. all in one packet ready to go. All we had to do was pay and get on the plane. She made it possible! I highly recommend Donna at First Travel!

Donna at First Class Travel is my hero… seriously. My fiancé (now husband) and I were planning a destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen. We had been referred by a friend to work with Donna and we are so grateful we did! I first contacted her in the spring and we got married in mid December. The months of working with her was ALWAYS pleasant. She is an outstanding woman and professional. We had people from Alaska to Michigan, Nebraska to LA, Canada to Delaware all trying to get to our wedding in Mexico. She had it under control! I was (and still am) VERY impressed. She got everyone taken care of and not only that she scored us a phenomenal deal! She set up planes for most, hotel stay for all and transfers to and from airport. She was very responsive to my emails and phone calls… she couldn’t have been better at communication! With over 50 people on this destination wedding, she was AWESOME!!! If she can handle dealing with a bride, my family and friends for majority of 2012, she will spoil you rotten! :-)
I will forever be grateful Donna! You made our wedding plans a breeze!

We use First Class Travel for all our traveling needs, both business and personal. They are friendly, knowledgeable and responsive. They really go above and beyond to make your trip pleasant. Here’s our latest experience… Just got back from D.C., but were hesitant to go with the threats of shutting down «nonessential» government sites (monuments, museums and parks). Donna jumped on the phone and made some calls to see what our options were. What else could we do while we were there? How would this impact us, etc? She even called the tour lines to see if we could get refunds for the trips we prepaid. She was even on top of calling me when she heard they had extended the budget deadline.
