Feldenkrais Resources and The Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego opened its doors in Southern California in the fall of 2007.

Feldenkrais Resources was originally founded in 1983 in Berkley, California by Elizabeth Beringer and David Zemach-​Bersin. Feldenkrais Resources is one of the oldest and most active somatic education organizations. Meet the Business Owner

Elizabeth B.

Business Owner

Founder and Educational Director, Elizabeth Beringer, has been involved with the practice and development of the Feldenkrais Method for thirty years and is one of the foremost Feldenkrais Teachers and Trainers. She studied directly with the founder of the Method, Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais, in both the US and Israel between 1976 and 1983. Elizabeth maintains a private practice in San Diego where she works with a wide range of people. For more information check the website.

Over the years Elizabeth has been actively involved with the development of the Feldenkrais Method into a respected profession; founding and editing for eighteen years the first Feldenkrais Journal, developing educational programs and materials, and teaching worldwide. She has directed four-​year professional training programs in France, Italy, Switzerland and the United States. A new program will be starting in San Diego in 2012.
