Fast Fix Jewelry and Watch Repairs

They wanted to charge me $ 35 for a watch battery for a fossil watch. I didn’t pay more than $ 80 for the watch so it didn’t make sense to spend that much for a watch battery. The guy insisted its an excellent deal because it included a 5 year warranty and was Swiss Made and underwent a pressure water test and seal, blah blah blah. I told him again that it was not practical to spend half the price of the watch on a battery and he hemmed and hawed before saying I could Get an $ 18 battery without a warranty which is what I agreed to. He also charged me $ 40 to repair my sons gold
Bracelet. I shouldn’t have agreed because now in hindsight I realize how expensive it was. Im sort of kicking myself for choosing convenience over price and I hate leaving a business where I feel like I have been «had» so to speak. They were really pushy and not forthright in providing options. I won’t be coming here again.

Please avoid this place. I took my broken bracelet in for an estimate and they went ahead and «fixed» it without my permission. I left my bracelet with them so they could determine the damage. The next day they left me a voicemail with how much it would cost and when I returned their call to tell them I will not be moving forward with them, they said too late we already started. The man on the phone was extremely rude and couldn’t understand why I was upset. When I picked up my bracelet he was still rude and insisted I pay. The work that they did do was terrible and now I will need to go get their shoddy workmanship fixed somewhere else and hopefully repair the damage that they did. Don’t waste your time, even with an «estimate».

After reading some of the other reviews, I was a little nervous. But the watch repair concession in Sears was closed Saturday night, and I was in a hurry to get my watch battery replaced, so I gave them a shot. They took care of it fast, with very attentive customer service. Yeah, a little pricey at $ 25, but worth it to get it done quickly. The $ 25 covers a 5-​yr warranty, and they explain that the warranty is inside the watch so you don’t need to dig up your receipt in 4 years if your battery dies. A useful feature, assuming you still have the watch by then and remember where you bought the battery… Anyway, aside from the price, this was really the best watch battery place I’ve been to.

This place deserves zero stars. DO NOT COME HERE. I went to ask about getting a watch resized, just needed it to get some links out and the man working there was so rude and pushy. He read the brand of my watch out loud and said it would be $ 25. I have never taken a watch to get re-​sized but I immediately knew that was too much money. I lied and told him I knew I could get it done for $ 15 and then he said he could lower the price to $ 20. I still did not get a good vibe from this man and decided to go elsewhere. I went to Sears instead and the woman working there, Ginger, was so nice! To make it better, she only charged me $ 11 and did a great job. If anybody ever needs a to get a watch resized go to SEARS.

Needed to get a simple sterling silver ring resized. Charged $ 35. Then said it would be ready in 3 days so I’m not sure why it’s called «fast fix». Ring resizing takes 5 minutes. I came on the due date and they never even started my ring. I told them I wanted my money back and my ring back. While discussing the ring, the guy cut my ring and then told me «well it’s cut now, do you still want it back?» So at that point I decided to let them keep the cut ring. They said it would take 45 min (Why? You just cut it) but I had somewhere to be. I asked for a discount considering it wasn’t ready on day 3 as promised and now I have to come back another day and they didn’t budge on the charge. $ 35, 3 trips to this location, and 4 days to complete.

Very very expensive for any repair -$ 35.00 to repair one link in my silver necklace! I also think 32.00 for a watch battery a bit high.

Nov. 28^th 2015 Dropped of ring to be repaired. My ring Is An Irish wedding ring from Ireland. Has 8 gems in it. 4 diamonds and 4 emerald peradot’s. I was missing One peradot. They quoted me three days to fix. December 18^th after multiple calls and being told it will be fixed in 3 days over and over, then just simply told me to wait for them to call me, lastly was this morning when I called they straight up told me they couldn’t find my ring. YEAH RIGHT!!! So, I went in, in person and demanded to see my ring. IT WAS MISSING TWO MORE STONES!!! I demanded a refund and told them how horrible they were and that they owed me. They tried telling me that the other stones fell out in the cleaner. BULL I have had that ring for over 6 years and had it cleaned at other repair shops and NEVER have my stones fell out. I asked them to pay for me to take it to another jeweler to get if fixed the right way because i no longer trust them, & they denied that as well and said the only option was to give it back to them to repair it! HATE THIS STORE AND THEIR MANAGEMENT!!! Ridiculous BULL They RUINED MY WEDDING RING FROM IRELAND!!!

I Had a gold necklace that needed a new clasp, so while out shopping at the mall i decided to drop by and see if they could fix it. I got my chain fixed in less than 30 minutes, amazingly fast considering how busy it was. Great customer service as well! I was greeted almost instantly and got it examined by the woman there. My chain looks as good as when i first bought it the repairman even threw it in the cleaner a second time. If have any trouble with any of my jewelry i am sure to bring it here. solid ⁵⁄₅

My Charriol watch stopped working and I brought it here, they lady was very nice and say the watch and said it most likely need battery replacement for $ 25 cause it’s a Swiss made, battery replacement should not take more than 30 min most but they had to keep it till noon second day, when I came to pick it up the guy told me that I got a good deal cause usually a Swiss made watch battery cause around $ 80, which is not true cause i have this watch for more than 8 years. So I think they try to make some extra money here.

Very impressive! I brought in three watches for battery replacement, sizing, and clean up. Alberto was extremely helpful. He got everything fixed and sorted within 45 minutes. He called to let me know they were ready while I shopped. Great service. I’ll be back as their service stands out.

If I could give this place no star, I would. First off, let me start by saying the Manager, Sandra is rude as hell and a CUNT, I don’t kno what her problem is, but she needs a different job, she should not be working in customer service, and if I were the owner of this franchise, I would not let someone with a poor attitude run my store. I’ve been in customer service for thirteen years, never have I ever seen such a negative person as a manager!!! NOBODY SHOULD GO HERE!
THE OWNER SHOULD BE VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I visited this place today to have my watch repaired and I must say that they did a fabulous job. Alberto was here early and he fixed my watch within a half hour and I was really impressed with his work and his courteous attitude. If you ever need your watch repaired you need to come here because they will take care of it right away!

I came to this place to replace the battery on my tag heuer watch, the gentleman wanted to charge me $ 89.00! I was like excuse me? Because I thought i heard $ 18.00, but he repeated again $ 89.00! Really??? For a watch battery? He goes yes this watch needs pressuring. Aha! Didn’t convince me yet!!! I know that the store is in La jolla mall, but still. It’s way overpriced.

Not everyone shopping at UTC is rich! The employees at this location seem to care little about jewelry and even less about customers. I had bought a 5 year warranty for battery replacements at another fast fix location and the staff here basically refused to return my which unless I paid $ 45 for the battery. These employees essentially held my watch ransom in order to try and double charge me because they claimed I had never had my watch services at the other fast fix store (basically calling me a liar). Lucky, I gave the original store a call down in Fashion Valley and an owner, Yadira, who actually values their customers helped me out. Avoid this place unless you know you’re just buying a timepiece and don’t plan on returning or having a satisfying customer experience.

I have used this store several times and have always had great results. Yesterday I came in with two watches that needed repair, Oscar assisted me with both issues and I was in and out in about 20 minutes. Super fast and super friendly I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

The worst place ever!!! They will steal your money and smile to you in your face. Very rude customer service. I wanted to make my mother in law bracelet who passed away smaller to fit my 10 year old girl. They charged me $ 120 to fix and clean. On the same day, the arms of one of the charms fell off!!! I came back a few weeks later, so they will fix it. I told him how they fell off on the same day, and he called me a liar right to my face!!! They told me they would fix it, but only if I paid another $ 25! I will NEVER come back!!!

BEWARE!!! Fast Fix Jewelry repair is a franchise of thieves and liars. I wish I didn’t have to say it that way… but they have driven me to this point with all of their lies and deception.
Let me start by saying that I have used fast fix for years on replacing the batteries on some of my watches… including my Omega Sea Master. I never had a problem with the battery until now. A battery that was supposed to last at least 5 years barely lasted 1 year.
Since a new OMEGA BOUTIQUE opened up in my area… I thought it would be wise to take the watch to them… since they are the manufacturer store.
To my HUGE surprise… the technician told me that the battery that was placed in my watch was 1) not the right battery for my model. 2) it cause CORROSION in the movement.
Needless to say… I was UPSET. I called fax fix and told them what Omega discovered. They asked for me to bring the watch in to «look at it». I knew it was going to be a waste of my time… but I went anyway.
They opened the watch… and said «No…WE (fast fix) put the «right» battery in… and OMEGA put the «wrong one in».
I was at a loss for words!!!
Omega was kind enough to open their specification manual and showed me EXACTLY what battery sizes are appropriate for my model watch.
I then asked fast fix if they were going to help me with this. They said they would do nothing… and even though… Omega said and PROVED fax fix put the wrong battery in my watch… they REFUSED to help me.
Sorry for the long review… but it’s important for everyone to know how fast fix does business… or a lack thereof.

Every so often you come across a business that not only meets your expectations but far exceeds them. And it’s that extra things that they do: a friendly smile; courteous and attentive staff; quick, reliable and outstanding service– that ensures I will continue to bring my jewelry, watches, and whatnot to get repaired here.
I brought in my daughter’s pearl bracelet to be restrung after she broke it from the numerous times she tugged, snagged, and toyed with the bracelet. In fact, It’s not uncommon for me to bring in many pieces at once– broken necklace, lost stones, damaged bracelets… Because my daughter has a tendency to break them all somehow. But I can entrust fast fix to restore it back to new… And they did just that with my daughters bracelet, and made it stronger (with silk string) to withstand my daughters rambunctiousness. What really blew me away was also that they gave my daughter a gift– and she was more than thrilled with it. It was seriously out of the blue. Here she is with Nicolas, the associate who went above and beyond to help us.

This place has such fast and efficient service!
I have been here to get links taken off for my watches as well as have my car key battery replaced.
They always get my belongings back to me on the quoted time or earlier and it’s always in perfect shape.
The staff is very friendly; and the store is neat and clean.
I would definitely recommend the services of this place to anyone.

I bought my watch here a few years ago and decided to come back. I needed to have it fixed, cleaned, etc. The cost for cleaning and putting in a new battery and crown stem cost $ 140. Kinda steep, you think? Also I had them put on a new band and that cost another $ 50. My watch cost only $ 350 in the first place. Most places at that price would have offered some kind of a RETURN CUSTOMER discount, but not here. If I had gone on-​line or check in on Unilocal,I could have got a 10% discount.
The quality of work was very good except that he chipped some of the face plate during the cleaning which I understood because it was my fault it happened BUT they tried to pass it off to me without an explanation until I asked about it.
Finally, the watch repair was promised in 5 – 7 days. I called on day 7 and no one answered the phone, it just rang and rang… no answering machine. Then I called on day 8 and she said she would call when it would be done… it took 10 days to get it cleaned, a new battery, new stem and new band… kinda too long plus no notification or apologies whatsoever.
