History

Established in 1981.

Family Law Del Mar was founded by Attorney Steven H. Lorber. Mr. Lorber has been helping family law clients for over 33 years. He has successfully handled hundreds of family law matters including complex property cases, high-​conflict custody disputes and is an experienced practitioner.

Attorney Sarah Lewis handles family law matters for the firm including high conflict custody and high net worth dissolution cases.

Attorney Lewis joined the firm to add her significant knowledge base and background with child custody cases, mediation and dissolution of high net worth estates.

The firm focuses exclusively on Divorce, Family Law and estate planning matters. Our attorney’s have devoted their careers and attention to helping families facing the most significant emotional upheaval. We provide the focus and experience that any client should expect from their attorney.

Business Owner

Attorney Steven Lorber has been practicing law and helping clients since 1981. Mr. Lorber has settled and tried hundreds of Family Law cases in his long career. He has been awarded the highest accolade in Martindale Hubbell: an AV rating. He was recognized on the San Diego Super Lawyer for demonstrating his excellence in Estate Planning in the hostile environment of Family Law.

Mr. Lorber’s extensive knowledge of estate planning is invaluable to his clients that face the prospect of rearranging their financial lives.

His experience with complex and high conflict family law cases along with estate planning are unique among San Diego Divorce Attorneys.
