Fairway golf has had a long standing reputation of providing not only the best golf equipment to our customers, but the best service as well.

Fairway Golf has been in business for over 20 years and has made San Diego it’s home since the beginning in 1991. Since our humble beginnings as a mom and pop shop, owners have taken their family business and expanded rapidly while still maintain their tradition and belief that customer service and quality of products must come first.

To this day Fairway Golf has gone beyond its shop doors and expanded into the local and even international community organizing events and reaching out to those who love the game of golf. These events include 20 years running a monthly golf tournament, 20 years of SCGA Affiliate Member Fairway Golf club, 21 years of Charity Golf Tournament for local schools, supporting junior and high school golf programs, and more.

I honestly wish I could give more stars to this shop. I had my car broken into and mine and my sons clubs stolen devastating both of us. I went in there today knowing that to replace all my equipment was not going to be cheap. Hide Nakagawa took extra time to make sure I was fitted properly for every club in my bag, which should be how a customer is treated, but also while letting me pause every now and then to comfort my 6 month old daughter that I brought along with. Not only did he get me set up with everything I need to get back into the course, but he made sure that I stayed within budget while getting the best and new equipment for my game. I have already spoken to a few friends and they are also extremely impressed with the customer service I received and also plan on shopping through these guys when their time comes to replace equipment.

I came in ready to buy replacement clubs for some that had recently been lost in an auto theft. Things we going well and the manager came over and started talking to me and giving me some pointers and recommendations. Service was great up to this point. That’s were it stopped! A couple came in and he just walked over to them and left me without a word! I waited to see if he was going to come back over and resume where he had left off, 20 minutes later I walked out of the store. I had just lost 2 sets of clubs and I was going to replace them both! Someone else will get my money. Very disappointed.

If you want to become a better golfer develop a relationship with Miguel. He is their fitter and will make sure you walk out of there with the right set of clubs. The level of customer service is much better than Golf Mart or the other retail chains in SD. This place offers a mom and pop vibe that makes a big difference. They remember my name every time I walk in and because of this level of service I have become completely dedicated to this store. I’m an experienced golfer but wish I came to this place when I first started playing. It would have made a big difference early on. I highly recommend this shop to all levels of golfers.

My wife, 4 year old daughter and I went here for the first time today. We are beginners and I wanted to start my daughter young and get her a putter. We found one and were about to check out when Wayne said he had some golf balls in the back that he had been saving for a special customer. He gave her 2 angry birds balls and two yellow titleist balls (for sale $ 2 each) for free. He made her feel special, which made us happy. Now that is customer service! This is how it is done. Keep up the great work. I will definitely be back. This gesture makes me want to learn golf even more now.
