Casual guys. Not a bunch of assholes like Guitar Center. They recognize that many drone users know more about photography and videography and use language that helps me understand what’s going on in quadcopterland that I didn’t realize.
I’m now obsessed with getting a 3DR and moving away from my beloved DJI.

Didn’t even buy my drone here and they still helped me with my drone! Very informative and great friendly staff.

I got my first drone at EzDrone the Hubsan x4 Pro kit! The staff at EzDrone gave me a quick flight lesson and I was up in no time. It’s awesome to have a full drone kit at $ 100! It’s durable and can withstand quite the crash. lol Great for training before you get the big drones that really cost money to repair. I look forward to getting my CinePro kit next with EzDrone! Can’t wait! 5 Stars all the way!

These guys are great to work with and provide honest expectations. They have a beautiful store as well a full service station. I highly recommend this shop.

Unilocal 100 Challenge
I placed an order online spoke to someone the day before and I never received confirmation from their company but did from Amazon store front saying they had charged me for the items. Called first thing in am they had no record of my order which they wanted me to prove as well as not allow my employee to pick up said items due the fact they have had people order and someone picked it up that wasn’t them and they didn’t get their items. So they refunded. So this became another problem of mine. So they charged me don’t have my order or any of my information their attempt to make things right were poor. Disappointment is all I can really say. Basically told to bad. His concern to make sure they didn’t lose money I get but the lack of concern to return mine as they told me I didn’t live that far I could come in myself just amazed me. They didn’t even have a record of my order they could only find that they had charged me. The lack of professionalism and ability to have real customer service skills was bad. I’m sure he must have to be very knowledgable about their product to make up for his lack of service knowledge. To bad the product seems good but if the company and employees within it are not full operational leaves doubt. i wouldn’t have order it if their website would have informed me that I couldn’t have anyone pick it up for me. But no where in their very pay ahead of time and pic up in the store does it state this information. I’m waiting for my refund now that they are not quick to take care of.

It was a bit hard finding the little shop; it’s in between the two buildings.
They seem to stock four models: DJI Phantom, DJI Inspire, Hubsan X4, and build-​it-​yourself. The Hubsan X4 seems like a strange choice, since it’s $ 50 when the others are in the hundreds (and thousands!) but it’s a well-​known starter plane, and it happened to be what I was there to buy. Unfortunately they didn’t have any of the camera version in stock, but I did get a nice carry case.
They have a decent stock of replacement parts, and their prices seem good. The staff was helpful.

I tried really hard to like this store, but I have to give out my first ever 2 star review. EzDrone is difficult to find, staff orientated on only sales and selective competitive (be careful when choosing difficult to find products) pricing.
My advice for people are trying to enter the drone market in San Diego is to try a reputatible DJI authorized dealer like DronesMadeEasy or AerialVideoPros.

I found this place on the way on the way to a local car dealership. I decided to check it out and was quite surprised. The guys working there greeted me instantly, took the time to listen to what I had to say as well as answering my questions, and in the end they had a great recommendation for me that met my budget. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking to buy your first drone, and to those who already have drones … they have a wide assortment of products to meet everyone’s meeds.

HIghly recommend. Recently purchased a Tactic 5.11 Backpack from them for my DJI Quadcopter. Great product, excellent service. The staff and management went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied.

We recently had EZdrone come and demo at my Tech in Motion: OC event on Robots and Drones and man, they were the star of the show! They were so professional and fun and our members were actually able to purchase little drones, which was something no other company had available!
If you are looking for a fun, energetic and knowledgeable drone company in the San Diego area, these guys are who you should check out :)

They definitely know their craft. I searched around many hobby shops before finding Ezdrone, and I can say that this is the place to go for multirotor aircrafts. Very knowledgeable.

Don’t be bothered by the ugly, hidden office building they work from — these guys are awesome with a great little shop for drones, great prices, they keep the ‘good stuff’ in stock, and everyone working there knows what they are doing. This is a complicated hobby but these guys are able to answer all of the questions.
I’m so glad these guys are now open — the other 3 hobby shops essentially told me to ‘get lost’ when I asked about drone parts and repairs. EZDrone has earned my business.
Be sure to look at Google maps before going there. They are in the crappy building behind another crappy building behind a taco shop on the railroad tracks, and they have no sign. But they are worth finding.

Let me first off start by saying, I brought my Phantom 2 in, which I refer to as George of the jungle, because I didn’t watch out for that tree. The turn around time for the shell, motor and the labor was just a few days. WAAAAAAAY faster that ordering online, hoping I ordered the right parts and the time to install it. My schedule is so busy that I really don’t have the time to tinker around anymore, I just need my ships to work. That’s why I come here.
Then I said hey, since I am here and you guys are super cool, what’s this FPV that all the kids are talking about. Sean has gotten me hip to this and guess, FPV on my bird. So far as super stoked with my setup. I will continue to comeback and get my equipment from Sean. I have a feeling this is the beginning of a long, expensive relationship, haha.
PS. this is the only shop that I have ever been to, in all of my 30 years of hobby shop visiting, that goes above and beyond customer service. Now, they are a small startup shop, they might not have everything you want or need, but they will get it quick. Ya ya ya, you can order from Amazon or whatever, but will you get the right stuff? I personally believe in paying for what you get. Not only the part, but they will totally answer questions about the part. That customer service is worth it to me.
Give them a shot!
