I met Nicole (I believe) in City Heights a couple of days ago and I told you about my friend who works and volunteers for the greater good of Pitbulls. There is an event coming up this weekend for Pit adoption, please let me know if you are interested. while i was looking for a dog to adopt, of course. originally when i was looking i wanted a male that was at least 2, boy was i wrong. i found my girl Beretta on their site who was female, 6 months AND deaf! i fell in love with her. so i filled out my application and got a response back from Nicole really quick. she was nice and friendly, and gave me more info about Beretta just in case i had missed that she was deaf. soon after she brought Beretta over to meet me and she was such a nut! i couldn’t wait to play with her lol, we went over the adoption process in detail and Beretta’s story, care and habits. at this point i didn’t care, i just wanted to bring her home already. i fostered for 2 weeks to make sure it was right, and since august 2012 Ive been the proud owner of Beretta. thew process was smooth and fast, she had already been taught ⁵⁄₆ hand commands, housebroken, crate trained, came with food & toys, med history, microchip tag and spay cert, all that was left to do was love her =]. this organization picks great proactive bully breed fosters/​adopters and promotes breed awareness in the community. they also work closely with many vets, SD animal shelter, and trainers in San Diego county, and im sure its the same at their ST. Louis branch. Even after adopting Beretta, Nicole sends information of events and other news going on in the community, plus shes always willing to answer any questions or concerns after the fact. this a great organization that cares about the animals AND the people who adopt them! thank you for allowing me to adopt Beretta =]

Even Chance is a rescue organization that specializes in rehoming pitbull breeds. My fiancé and I recently adopted our little rascal, Tucker, through them and it was the best decision we ever made! Even Chance makes sure their dogs pass all their required tests in order to assure that they are ready to be homed with a loving family. Our little Tucker was nuetered, micro-​chipped, trained, and loved. Nicole, president of the company, even dropped him off with toys, supplements, food, and his skin ointment. We were left feeling extremely confident with our «first dog» experience. Tucker is the most obedient, beautiful, playful, fun boy we could ever ask for. To top it off his adoption fee included five weeks of training classes for Tucker.
