Eric James Studio

It’s been one month since I’ve had a cut and balayage highlights by Eric. It still looks amazing. Granted, I’ve been more mindful of using better hair products to protect my investment. He did an amazing job on my hair. I’ve had so many compliments on it. I’m naturally a dirty blonde with a little grey… yikes. The highlights looks so natural and blend so well! He is an amazing colorist. I will be returning. He’s so worth it. He takes his time with you & really listens. Usually, after one month, the grow out starts to look bad, but not this time. Thank you!

Eric is the sweetest, kindest most adorable human being ever. I love coming to see him. I have been seeing him almost a year now and he is a master at what he does. He always makes me feel comfortable and happy and really goes above and beyond. His studio is so cute and modern. The best part is the hair washing and massage! Such a great perk to any stressful day.

Eric is the best! The first time I came to him, my hair was a hot mess but he worked his magic and my hair now is so nice. Not only is his ability to cut and color hair amazing, but he really makes you feel at home when you go to his salon. He is so confident about what he is doing to your hair that it makes you feel confident about how it’s going to turn out, and let me tell you he doesn’t disappoint! If you ever get the chance to have him do your hair, you won’t regret it.

I have very fun vibrant colors in my hair all the time. And there’s no one else I would go to who I trust will give me exactly what I want like Eric does. My natural hair color is jet black, the darkest black there is. But as of 4 years now I’ve been a red head, and I mean red like Ariel from The Little Mermaid. So you can imagine how bright it is. Whenever I’ve wanted to change up the color or add other colors to my hair I can trust him to be honest and tell me if they’ll be good colors. If he doesn’t feel like a color will look good, he let’s me know right away and we keep brainstorming. I usually get in contact with him in advance before I come in, that way we have some idea on what I want. Whenever there’s a time I have no idea what I want I can trust him to do whatever he knows I’ll like. I don’t trust anyone with my hair but Eric. There’s never a dull moment when he’s got his hands in some hair. He’s absolutely amazing! Everyone should just come and see him!

Eric is a majestic hair celestial being. I always leave feeling beautiful! He gives THE BEST cuts I have ever had. My sister was visiting from Oklahoma and asked me to set her up a appt, he was able to get her in on short notice and when she left she said «OMG I love him, he is so sweet and it wasn’t awkward we just talked and talked» not to mention she couldn’t stop looking at her hair in the mirror for 2 straight days. He is warm and personable and I would recommend his work to anyone and I do. He is knowledgeable in products but doesn’t push them on you. Gives great blowouts!

Eric did my hair last month for my birthday and it couldn’t have been any more perfect. He did just what I wanted and it came out looking fantastic. I would definitely recommend!

Eric is not only a great stylist, but he makes you feel comfortable and does what he can to please his customers. I’ve had a number of stylists in San Diego, but Eric is by far my favorite. I highly recommend him!
