Epic Limo Bus

Another great time on the Epic Limo bus wine tasting yesterday, and Don the driver was the best!

We used Epic Limo Bus for a brewery tour on my friend’s 30^th birthday… and we all had an outstanding time!!! The bus looked exactly the same as the one depicted on their website. Come to think of it, it actually looked brand new! The audio system was great, as were the seats! And because of the overall experience, which included the punctuality of our driver, I cannot say enough good things about how happy I am about choosing them. And while I’d heard stories about limo bus experiences where additional charges surfaced after the trip, with Epic… there were no surprise fees! Both Kathy, who I worked with to set up the trip for us, and Roni our personable driver, made that experience a truly «Epic» one for my friend’s big day!

Lisa was amazing on our Wine Tour in Temcula. She allowed us to have a great time while keeping us on schedule. I will definitely use Epic again. A blast!

We had Lisa as our driver this past weekend to Temecula for wine tasting and she was awesome! She was so energetic and awesome explaining how the day would pan out and was super patient in waiting for us to all get back on the bus. The bus was huge with plenty of room for our large group and she let us have the music as loud as we wanted. We all had a blast! Thanks Lisa and Epic for an epic day!

I can not rave enough about Kathy and Lisa. It was my fiancé’s 30^th birthday and I wanted to surprise him with a bus full of his closes friends to go wine tasting. The planning was so smooth Kathy was very accommodating with all the changes. She made it everything so easy!
Lisa is… well and ANGEL! As i said, it was a surprise for my friance so she got at the pick up spot a little earlier so that all our friends could load in the car, and then drove around the block until we arrived! He thought we were getting an «über» and then boom the bus pulls up! it was perfect, and I know I wouldn’t have been able to go off that well without the help of Kathy and Lisa. Lisa made sure we made all it to our destinations on time and left no one behind! Highly HIGHLY recommended! Thank you ladies!

When planning our wine tasting event for 8 adults, I made many changes to get the timing and cost just right. Kathy and Epic Limo could not have made it easier and provided lots of helpful suggestions. Our driver Juan was really nice, courteous and helpful and seemed to want to make sure we had a great day. I would definitely book through epic limo again.

It was my daughters 13yo bday & we decided to hire a party bus to bring everyone to Dave & Busters plus for them to enjoy the party bus as part of the «party». We figured on a 4 hr rental to ensure them enough time on the bus. I called around to a few places and based on their reviews, website, price and representative Kathy, I decided on Epic. Kathy was not pushy as I encountered w another company. After explaining my needs and what I was looking for, She explained which bus she felt would meet our needs the best & answered any questions I had, all in a polite reassuring manner. After we booked, paid deposit etc. she kept in touch with us. In one of her emails she asked us if we wanted the drinking glasses to be removed since they were kids & possible could break them or get hurt.& if we wanted the pole removed. We said yes to both. We brought small bottles of water for the kids since they would have had their fill at Dave & Busters.
The bus had a great sound system that we plugged our music into, an ice box, cool lightning and Plenty of room. We were 20 in total including 4 parents.
Our driver Lisa was wonderful. Kathy had already given me Linda’s # the day before however before I had a chance to call her, she called me. After a 5 minute conversation I felt we were in good hands. Linda had 10 yrs experience driving a school bus & 6 yrs exp driving for Epic.
Linda arrived at the rendezvous point plenty early which made it easier for the parents dropping off their kids & probably more exciting for everyone seeing the bus sitting there when they pulled up. Linda asked us if she could go over some basic safety rules with the kids which of course we said yes and then we were off!
A few minutes into the trip I could tell what a great driver she was. Once the music was blasting it wasn’t long before kids were dancing. These were all 12 & 13 yo girls and boys so it was quite a thrill for us old fogies to watch sitting there in the front of the bus.
Epic made my daughters party a success. They are very professional and accommodating & I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a party bus or transportation. Thank you Kathy! Thank you Lisa!

Great experience with Epic Limo. Our driver Victor picked us up on time and was there when we needed him all throughout the day. We went to 3 different San Diego breweries. The bus was a great size and very well kept up. We ordered a 35 passenger bus and had 26 people on board and had plenty of room. The estimate was great in that it included the tip and everything so I knew how much we were going to owe all in. Would definitely recommend for any large group transportation!

My friends and I rented a party bus for 24 hours and what a great time we had. From making the reservation and by the way Kathy was a great help she not only gave me the price she broke it down too the penny as too how much it was going too be per person, she also gave me many options to choose from, the day I made my reservation another lady Mary had to pick up from where Kathy and I had left off and Mary knew all about the options Kathy had given me. This was the first time I had ever rented a party bus and having to pass all the information on to my friends I was so pleased to get all facts up front, no hidden charges we got everything we wanted and more. The bus I rented was much more than we thought, it was really clean and the lighting, big screen tv’s and sound system plus the wet bar were all fun.

Epic was AMAZING to work with!!! I had never booked a party bus or any kind of brew tour before so I wasn’t sure how to go about it. But, I didn’t need to know because they handled EVERYTHING from start to finish with grace, kindness and efficiency. Not one person was rude or acted bothered by my millions of questions. And because the size of my party changed quite a few times before my event, I talked to Kathy and Mary on more than one occasion. On the day of my actual event we got the best driver, Don. He too was kind and efficient. He was prompt and fun. I can not speak high enough of Epic. And I am looking forward to using them again in the future.

I am very conflicted writing this review. I give the bus itself and the driver 5 million stars. But planning the day was very stressful, and we did NOT receive what we were supposed to receive.
We took a bus to Temecula to go wine tasting for a combined bachelor/​bachelorette party. We booked two MONTHS in advance, and chose the $ 80/​person option (Epic is supposed to then make arrangements with wineries for you), rather than paying per hour and making the arrangements myself. Three WEEKS before the trip, I received a call from them that the wineries were all booked, and they could only take us to two wineries rather than the promised three. We did receive a discount for this, but Kathy was completely unapologetic that they were just getting around the booking the wineries. I chose to have them plan it because I thought it would be LESS stressful, not more.
I explained at the time of booking, and reiterated in every email and phone call, that we didn’t care if we got the crappiest bus of them all, as long we had a bathroom. I stressed SO MANY TIMES how important the bathroom was to us. I did not want to worry about stopping at a dirty gas station for 30 people to pee after drinking a bunch of wine and a 1.5 hour bus trip. The day before the trip, I got a call from Kathy explaining that we got a «free» upgrade to a much better party bus… to which I replied «is there a bathroom??» The answer was yes, there was a bathroom, but I had to pay $ 200 to unlock it, otherwise no bathroom. I asked to be downgraded back to my crappy bus with a bathroom, and she said that they couldn’t do that, and tried to explain that it was a good thing I was getting this «free upgrade». She was completely unreasonable, and did not understand why I wasn’t excited to get a better bus. The next day we were stuck with our (very nice) bathroom-​free party bus, and of course ended up having to stop at a gas station to use the bathroom.
The good news is that we had a great time, the two wineries were very nice, and even though we were 30 minutes late getting back thanks to our bathroom breaks, we didn’t end up getting charged for the extra time. The bus driver was awesome, and the bus was awesome. But I am still pissed about the bathroom.

Okay, the reservationist Kathy was by far the nicest most accommodating person I have ever dealt with when organizing an event like this. She went the extra mile to get us a limo bus that was the right size, time and price and I am so thankful for her patience and tenacity!
Our day of brewery touring San Diego takes off this Saturday, and we can’t be more excited! Thanks again Kathy!!!

Here’s my deal and experience. I called around several places looking for an engagement party brewery cruise for 5 hours, and these guys had very competitive rates and was great to work with from the get-​go. Kathy was very responsive even on random hours of the day 7 days of the week. How do I know? That’s because I changed my agenda several times until it was perfect for me. Guess what… they actually appreciated that I took the time to map, plan (called the breweries to accommodate the number of people and at the suggested times), and everything (collect money, communicate, direct, etc…) Remember the 5 hours is up to you with what you want to do with it.
Here’s my agenda with 2 pick up locations:
Pickup 1: Near SDSU 12 pm
Pickup 2: Mira Mesa Bowl 12:30 pm
Stop 1: Saint Archers 12:45 — 1:45 pm
Stop 2: Rough Draft 2:00 — 3:00 pm
Stop 3: Green Flash 3:15 — 4:15 pm
Drop off 1: Mira Mesa Bowl by 4:30 pm
Drop off 2: Near SDSU by 5 pm
Keep this as a template, because it takes time to round up people and drive to the next location and with 15 minutes you have some cushion on time. And no one felt that they were there too long or too short at each brewery. In matter of fact, everyone had so much fun that they were surprised it was 5 pm already.
My driver, Randy, was on point. Very accommodating, respectful, and great guy! Key to our success was that we were always in communication via text or phone call. I would text, «We’re finishing up» and he’ll pull the bus up. If GPS was a little off, I’d tell where to go.
The party was a HUGE success thanks to both Kathy and Randy. Much love for these guys. Oh did I tell you that we had over 30 people and the 40+ person bus was more than big enough for us and then some.
Another thing I wanted to add was the logistics… tell your people to come early to «pre-​party» and they’ll make it on time. During the pre-​party, collect your money and hand out stamps for those who paid. For those that didn’t pay, write down their names and collect later.

Great customer service. Our driver provided good service and helped make my daughters birthday celebration a success. She was very nice and prodessional. We also got a better limo than we expected. Thank you for helping us make my daughters birthday unforgettable.

I initially tried to contact the other limo services on Unilocal but they either got back to me days later or one person actually quoted me different amounts in two separate emails.
After that frustrating back and forth ordeal a friend mentioned seeing Epic Limo on the Barona website so I checked out the site and sent a request for a quote. Kathy replied back the same day and answered all of my questions.
We did the limo wine tasting package for nine people and we truly got our money’s worth and then some. It’s a set price that includes the wine tasting and the tip for the driver. We chose from a list of wineries and Kathy booked the wine tasting at each of the venues.
The limo bus was huge! There was plenty of room for all 9 of us and probably 5 more comfortably. It was a very smooth and enjoyable ride.
Ronnie V was our driver and she was AMAZING. She was on time answered all of our questions and pretty much took care of us the entire time. When we were at one venue she was at the next one making sure everything was setup and or made sure tickets were purchased. We squeezed in a picnic lunch at one of the wineries and had the BEST time.

Our driver, Ronnie V. First off, she was amazing! Secondly, she was so on top of things, it made this experience PERFECT! Thirdly, she had the best personality. If I get this service again, which will happen, I will always request Ronnie!

Great customer service… Kathy and Mary answered many of my question (very prompt) and helpful. I also appreciated our driver, Angel, who accommodated us well. He took the time to get a lost phone that was left at one of the wineries without take us away from our wine experience. I would definitely use the company again.

We rode in an Epic Cadillac Escalade for my wife’s 60^th surprise birthday party early February and it was absolutely awesome! Doug was our driver and he was Johnny on the Spot… opening doors, communicating by text and picking us up perfectly on time. We hit a bar in PB and dinner a few blocks away. Took pictures of our group and was safe and courteous. Thanks to Doug and everyone at Epic for making my wife’s party the perfect success! I would highly recommend them.

I never write reviews but this is a easy one.
Poor poor service. driver showed no empathy when acknowledged her failure. A wedding ceremony has been cut into half with a lot of parts missing due to the driver taking the wrong route which placed us into traffic on the five. We were going to usd immaculata. Situation was we were leaving San Marcos area in which the exit was maybe three exits away from 15south instead of taking the 15 south and possibly taking the carpool lane that stretched from pomerado road to clairmont she went down 78 west backtracking us to the five south leading to the delay… Obviously her dispatcher or driver didn’t do there research on «traffic». I give google maps a ⁵⁄₅ for letting us know there was zero traffic on 15 south… Also the driver had an itinerary on what time to be there… This should be a epic experience but we ended up having panic attacks
Don’t rely on this service will not recommend to anyone and will tell friends to avoid because it appears there office is in downtown San Diego…
