Terrific Spiderman for my son’s 4^th birthday party! He looked exactly right, even crouched like spidey, and was so sweet and fun and hard working with the little kids. He was a total hit, even with my little one, who is quite shy. It made for a very special party, as everyone — little and big alike — was excited to have Spiderman visiting. Reasonable price, on time, lots of fun. I would recommend Epic and will likely hire them again.

Better late than never for my review. We had Anna, Elsa & Kristoff at my daughters birthday party. They were amazing! What a truly wonderful company to work with as I initially only wanted two characters and later decided to add a third. It was painless. The characters were absolutely stunning, the sing along was a blast as well as all of the other activities like story time, dancing and face painting. To top it off, they gave out ‘autographed’ pictures and even stayed to sing Happy Birthday and cut the cake. I can’t say enough nice things and to this day I am told we had the best party ever, which weighs heavily on the gorgeous, fun characters that interacted so well with the kids. Hands down, we will use this company again and refer them to all of our friends.

I was blown away about how great Elsa was at my daughter’s party. She did such a great job! My daughter was so happy and the other children were mesmerized (as were the adults)! What a great party! Elsa was amazing — so beautiful and nice — what a great memory we will have for years and years to come. I think it will be hard to top this next year! I highly recommend using Epic Characters if you want to make your party extra special!

I hired spiderman for my son’s 3^rd birthday and he loved it! The spiderman that was hired for my party was nothing but great! He read a story to the kids, taught them a superhero routine, signed autographs, sang happy birthday, took pictures with all the guests and even did a fight routine with my husband (he dressed up as venom)! It was awesome! Everyone at the party complimented on how great the spiderman was! I will definitly hire from them again for my kid’s next birthday parties!!! Thanks Epic for making my son’s birthday so memorable!!!

I have left an online message and voice message requesting information on an Ariel character for my daughters birthday in July. It has been over 2 weeks and no one from this company has bothered to contact me. They must be too busy to even respond to a potential customer. Too bad.

I’m not usually one to write reviews on Unilocal,but the experience I had with Epic Character Parties was so great, I feel I have to!
I booked Spider Man and Cinderella for a children’s event at my store, and it was better than I could have imagined! Everybody from the company, including the characters were great to work with, and the kids had a blast!
Definitely would reccomend these folks to anybody interested in having a character attend a party or event… worth every penny!

I hired Spiderman for my boyfriend’s son’s 5^th birthday party. We picked the one hour package. He was amazing! I can’t even verbalize how happy we are that we decided to hire him. He read a story to the kids, did super hero training, signed autographs, led the birthday song and took pictures with everyone!!!
He was so sweet and patient with the kids. He made all of them, not just the birthday boy, feel really special. When the adults got to take pics with him, he was entertaining us, too! We could NOT stop laughing! He was hilarious!
The company was very responsive to my emails, even on the weekends. I changed my time from 4:30 to 5 p.m. the day before and they were able to do it for us with no issue!
I cannot wait to have kids so I can hire princesses and other hero characters. This was my first time hiring from Epic Characters and it will definitely not be my last!

We have used Epic Character Parties three years in a row for our daughter’s Birthday parties. Each & every party has been better than the last. My daughter just turned 7 and we hired Elsa from the movie Frozen. So incredibly amazing! She had all of the children amazed & in awe. They all sang along with her when she sang, she read a story, got up & danced. Every time we’ve ever used them parents can’t get over how «Disney» these characters are. From the communication from start to finish, on time & professional — I would never think to go elsewhere. I’m just trying to find a way that we can continue to use them even as my daughter moves out of the princess phase. I would bet they will come up with something. Thank you ECP!

The Batman we hired for my sons 6^th birthday yesterday was awesome, looked and acted so real like he was just out of the movie. All the kids enjoyed his presence and all the games and fun he had with them. I would definitely recommend Epic character parties to all interested in hiring characters for their children’s birthday parties.

We hired Rapunzel and a face painter for our daughter’s 3^rd birthday party! To say it was amazing just isn’t enough! Rapunzel kept all the little kids so very engaged, all the while, being sure our daughter was her main focus! She was so energetic, patient, and fun! The girls were dancing and singing the entire time! The face painter was fantastic, too! I really was blown away and they exceeded any expectations i had! Thank you, ECP for making our daughters dream come true!

Hired face painters and balloon artist for one event and they did an amazing job. Hired tinker bell for a second event and it was fantastic. Tinker bell was energetic, animated, and had kids engaged entire time. Will definitely be using them again.

We booked Spider Hero for our son’s 4^th Birthday party. I was a little hesitant to shell out $ 170 for an hour of his time but I am SO GLAD I was talked into it. Spiderman and his crew of three assistants were right on time, called me when they were out front so we could coordinate the surprise for my son. Spiderman stayed squarely in character for the entire hour and kept all the kids very entertained. I would have paid twice the amount of money for what we got out of it. This company is very user friendly and reliable. We will use Epic Character Parties again without hesitation.

When it was nearing time for my niece’s big «7^th Birthday Bash», my aunt was stressing out looking for something that would make this party forever memorable. My aunt is not very tech savvy so she asked for my assistance (Even though I live in LA and they are in San Diego) in searching the web to find someone to come to the party dressed as Princess Tiana. (Side note — Princess Tiana is, as far as I know, the only African-​American Disney princess and my niece who is ¾ African-​American strongly identifies with her: «She’s a princess and she looks like me!») I called another party character provider whom I won’t name here. The only African-​American actress employed with their company was booked for the date we needed. They offered to send a Caucasian actress with body paint to play Princess Tiana. I was appalled, my niece is 6, not blind! I shared my concerns in finding the perfect Princess Tiana for my niece’s party with a coworker. She told me that she also had family in San Diego and that they had used Epic Character parties for a party. I immediately looked them up online and contacted them hoping that it wasn’t too short notice as the party was in 5 days. The Epic Character Party Manager, James was ever so helpful in getting me an authentic Princess Tiana for the event. My Niece couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Epic Character parties for all of your help and wonderful work!

I would love to write a review for this company but unfortunately cannot because THEY DIDN’T SHOW. I was a part of a committee trying to provide some entertainment for 150 children at a local child development center. We had just one caveat, we didn’t have a budget. After calling dozens of companies, we found what we thought to be our knight in shining armor. Our search ceased as we stumbled upon this little treasure of a company (or so we thought). Upon further conversations, it was decided that we would pay for the gas of several princess characters to come from L.A. and possibly one from San Diego. THE DAY BEFORE the event an email was sent to the owner to make sure all the i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed. The response stated that Peter Pan was booked for a commercial and couldn’t make it and then something about hoping the event is still successful. Jaw dropped, panic mode set in. We have 150 children we promised princesses and less than 24 hours to figure something out. Thank you Epic Character Parties for promising such a generous donation but unfortunately when you don’t follow through things become infinitely worse. One of the moms tracked down a Snow White Costume and bribed her children to pretend she wasn’t their mom but the real Snow White…
EPIC FAILURE.

It’s not all about the Princesses. This is the place to call if you need a superhero, too! Captain America came to my son’s Avengers-​themed first birthday party this past January. My son may be too young to let me know what he really thought about his special guest, but photos of how he couldn’t take his eyes off of him were priceless! The constant baby jaw drop said it all. He must have been mesmerized by Captain America’s super power-​ness, as were our friends and family. We planned my son’s big party (first and only big bash perhaps ever) at the last minute, and Epic Character Parties thankfully responded to our email request. They were clear in their instructions and expectations, and we were happy with the outcome. We thought the kids that attended the party already looked cool with the superhero costumes they all wore, but Captain America looked even COOLER. Just ask the older girls who apparently ended up with a crush on him. The only minor thing was Captain America was a little on the soft-​spoken side, but everyone who wanted to listen just drew in closer to hear his story. He did a little dance routine with the little kids afterward, and even signed autographs (adults got in line for this one, too). For budget purposes, keep in mind that there is an extra fee to have him travel down to San Diego from LA. It was well worth it!

Extremely professional and high quality company! I was stunned by the level of detail put into all the characters, especially the mascots! Unlike other companies in SD, ‘Epic’ has an extensive list of Boy characters as well, so my nephew could really get in on the fun!

We used ECP for my daughter’s 5^th birthday. Rapunzel spent 90 minutes with the girls and they loved every minute. They were right on time and very easy to deal with in the planning stages.

Peter Pan is apparently a hard character to come by in Los Angeles. We were so happy to find ECP in San Diego!
Peter came to our daughter’s «Neverland» 3^rd birthday party and boy was he a hit! We booked him for 2 hours which I would definitely recommend. 90 minutes probably would have been ok but 1 hour would definitely not been long enough, and honestly, our daughter would have spent the whole day with him if she could have!!!
Anyway, our daughter is a huge fan of everything Peter Pan and he definitely didn’t disappoint! They drove up to LA from San Diego, so they were about 30 minutes late (they got lost… it happens!) but with a few over the phone instructions made it in plenty of time! Peter just «appeared» on the party scene and my daughter’s face was lit up from that point on. He looked just like the photos, and came with a «coordinator» which was great so that someone else could help him with music, payment, etc.
Peter engaged the kids in a story time with interjected songs (he definitely wasn’t the best singer ever, but definitely wasn’t terrible, and the kids were so enamored that it was clearly over looked) and taught the kids a dance that my daughter still remembers parts of even a week later. He then played some cute age appropriate games with the kids and then signed pictures for everyone. He sang happy birthday and gave our daughter a little present before flying back to neverland.
What makes me the most happy is that my daughter REALLY thought it was Peter Pan. He stayed totally in character, complete with the Peter stances and giggle, and knew everything there was to know about the story/​movie. She was sad when he had to leave, especially since they were now on a first name basis, and is already asking for Peter to come to her 4^th birthday.
Thanks Epic Character Parties for making her birthday magical. They were professional and had the true honesty that only children can appreciate! They clearly have a love and passion for Disney and for making children feel special! Thanks again!!!

Belle paid a visit to my daughter’s 3^rd Birthday Party yesterday. She did a great job with a very shy group of kids, and by the end everyone was happy. My daughter loved meeting Belle, having a personal photo with the princess, and getting a special Birthday gift.
All of my communication with the company was 100% positive. Very quick responses. Very professional. Highly recommend!

Princess Jasmine came to my daughter’s 3^rd year birthday party. I was very happy from the beginning to end. The staff was very professional, they answered all my questions prior to the booking, were on time, had a great demeanor and princess jasmine was just as pictured (nice make up and costume). The kids loved the story (all though it did go a little long, mostly due to the kids interrupting and asking questions). My daughter loved the songs and dancing (even though the princess forgot a couple of words). The autographs and pictures were great, even the adults wanted one. She stayed and sang happy birthday and gave her a gift, which was another great photo opportunity. Overall I would give 5 stars, I felt like it was a great value for the price and I know I am a very difficult customer to please, so they did extremely well. More than anything I am glad she looked just like the picture and the people running the business are very competent.
