How can you not love Emily and Brett? I originally found them at the Bridal Bazaar back in ’09 when Emily was around 7 months pregnant with their future little babyboy North! I just knew when I saw both of them that they had to be my photographers for my special day. Extremely professional and so fun to be around. My husband and I are so awkward to take pictures with, but they were so supportive and made us feel like we were naturals! (we weren’t, trust me). all in all, I couldn’t be happier. The pictures were amazing and I have only Emily and Brett to thank for the lifetime of memories that they managed to catch on film. Love you guys.

Brett and Emily are the most dynamic and genuine people you will meet. Highly, highly, highly recommend them! Their photos are top quality. Everyone I know uses them as their family photographers, as well as their wedding photographers. I am always so impressed by the quality of their work as well as their awesome personalities. They will make you feel completely comfortable and at ease.

I have nothing but glowing complements for Emily and Brett. They are incredibly gifted at what they do and could not be more down to earth and easy to work with. There is a definitely craft and artistry to their photography. I loved how they blended into our day and captured the moments as they were happening. I have nothing but the best things to say about Brett and Emily. They were easy to work with, fantastic photographers and we got all our pictures in a timely manner. We’re waiting on our album right now, but that’s because they got the proof to us so quickly that I haven’t had a chance to get my thoughts back to them. If you want your special day photographed by a couple who listens and understands you and delivers fabulous photos then they are the way to go!

These photographers are VERY responsive and respond to any questions/​concerns almost within the hour. Very friendly and professional. If you’re trying to stray from the traditional cheesy wedding and engagement photos — go with the Faulknors!

They are very affordable and their work is better than most I’ve seen. I searched high and low for a photographer with a great eye that was in my price range. We haven’t received the wedding pictures yet — but judging from the engagement photos, I have no doubts about how great they will be.

Question: What could be better than 1 awesome photographer? Answer: 2 awesome photographers! And Brett and Emily, the husband and wife team that make up Emily Faulknor Photographers, are just that. We recently had them shoot our wedding and engagement photos. Through exceptionally creative photos, they documented the story of our day in a way that we will treasure for years to come.
In addition, they are extremely comfortable to work with! And in comparison with other top quality photographers in Southern California, they’re a deal with regards to finances (and we all know that helps)! We’ll be happy when an opportunity comes again for us to work with them in the future.

THE MOST TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHERS! Emily and Brett were a perfect fit for us because they listened to exactly what we wanted. They made sure to take time to get to know us as a couple and understand what we wanted out of our wedding photos. They captured our personalites and relationship perfect and without us having to do much work at all. Doing an engagement shoot helped us feel comfortable with Emily and Brett and when the wedding day came, we felt as if we had known eachother for years. We chose to do a first look on our wedding day, and it was the absolute best thing we could have done. It completely calmed our nerves and gave us some intimate time alone for Emily and Brett to capture. There was still nothing like seeing my soon-​to-​be Husband as I walked down the aisle. Emily and Brett kept everything moving so smoothly the morning of the wedding, they were so organized taking family phots and Emily is GREAT at making babies stop crying! They made our day so enjoyable and our weding photos are more than we could have ever asked for.

I love Emily and Brett! I just received my wedding pictures about a week ago and they are stunning! I contacted Emily about a year before my wedding, met up with her and her husband, and booked her. They are one of the most down-​to-​earth people you will ever meet! I loved that she has packages that includes 2 photographers for the WHOLE day.
We did an engagement shoot with Emily and Brett and they were absolustely amazing! My husband does not like to get his photos taken, yet, Emily and Brett did a wonderful job cajoling the smile out of him! Our wedding was in June, and by this time, Emily had a baby and I am still surprised with how she works only months after giving birth! Emily and Brett are VERY accomadating. I had them shooting our wedding from 7:30am-11:00pm. They are troopers!!! The pictures came out beautifully and I can’t wait for the next event to book with them again!

Emily was recommended to me by a very good friend to photograph my wedding in July. Emily responded right away to my initial email and it was all smooth sailing from there.
Emily will travel anywhere. She is in San Diego but flew up to San Francisco where I live to shoot my engagement pictures. The pictures are beautiful, very classy, and reflect my fiancé and I perfectly! My fiancé was super nervous and very uncomfortable with the idea of the photograph session, but Emily made him feel at ease right away. By the end of the day he was raving about how much he liked her and how great she is! Our pictures came to us on a CD very shortly after.
Our wedding is coming up soon and we know the photographer is one vendor we wont have to worry about. Emily is great and I know shes going to do another amazing job.
