I’m 27 years old, a competitive swimmer, and attend boot camp 3 times a week. For the past year I’ve been suffering from a severe nerve injury in my right arm which is unknown if related to my exercising activities or a car accident 5 years ago. I was in throbbing pain for 11 months in my neck, shoulder, entire right arm, wrist, hand, and fingers. I developed carpal tunnel in both arms and lost my ability to write with my right hand. I’ve seen 2 orthopedic surgeons, a neurologist, a neurosurgeon, 2 physical therapists, and now I’m seeing a new neurosurgeon. No one has been able to pinpoint the problem bc all my MRIs, X-​rays, nerve studies, and Doppler study have come back normal, but doctors are leaning towards thoracic outlet syndrome. They put me on medication to deal with the pain but it barely kept the pain at bay. I had tried acupuncture– didn’t work. Massage would sometimes help but sometimes make things worse. A chiropractor was something I hadn’t tried so I did some research and discovered Dr. D. The first day I went to see him, my body was in agony pain and I was extremely sensitive to the touch. I told him that I just wanted to talk about what was going on with me and he sat there talked. It was such a breath of fresh air to actually talk to a doctor that cared about me. He said I had one of the more severe injuries he’s seen but had worked on thoracic outlet syndrome before and felt confident that he could help. I felt comfortable with him to let him adjust my back and neck that day. Instantly, my pain was gone. I couldn’t believe it! As each day went on after that first adjustment I was able to be pain free. Now I see him once a week for adjustments and I’m no longer in constant pain. This doesn’t mean that I’m not in pain ever, but the constant pain is gone. I’m continuing to work with him as I work with other doctors to determine what is wrong with me, but I’m so grateful that I don’t have to take medication for the pain anymore. Dr. D is a great chiropractor and doctor. He truly cares about his patients and is invested in their health. He even gives you his cell number and asks you to check in with him to see how you’re doing. Dr. D has opened doors for me to living pain free and also exercising again. I am forever grateful and highly recommend him to others.

Dr. D is the best chiropractor in San Diego, CA. He will go above and beyond to accommodate your every need. He goes the extra mile to explain what is going on inside your body and give you tips on how to continue working out those problematic areas outside of the visit as well. He will take the best care of your body. I went in for a lower lumbar injury and he got me stretched and adjusted to where I could barely walk, to being able to almost touch my toes in the matter of 1 – 2 visits! I mean, any type of pain within your body causes a toll on your mental health. This is the best way to ensure that your mind and body are on the same path. I promise that this is the right person to see. He is a very knowledgeable and trustworthy person who really cares about increasing the health of his clients. After having gone to him, I can’t see myself going and trusting in someone else with my physical health.

Just came here for the first time, and Dr. Dhokal was wonderful. He addressed all of my concerns and made sure I really understood what he was doing and why. I have been to several chiropractors over the years, and he made me feel the most at ease.
I teach group fitness at the gym down the street and have a reoccurring hip flexor/​groin problem that won’t seem to get better. I came to him because it has been so painful I have been unable to work. He did a whole adjustment, and then took some time to do some work on just the area that was in pain.
I am excited to continue to go to Dr. Dhokal, which is not something I normally say about doctors. I’m glad I can finally say I am getting this reoccurring issue finally resolved. Thank you so much!

I’ve been in need for an adjustment for a long time. Dr. P. Took extremely good care of me and my fiancé. He was kind and elaborate. He understood our needs to ensure most effective service. We left feeling amazing and so well taken care of. Oh and he’s a chargers fan! I’ll be a loyal regular from now on!

Dr. Dhokal is the best chiropractor I’ve ever been to. He’s knowledgable and most importantly, very effective. I train in a variety of sports (CrossFit, Olympic Lifting, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) so I need to get adjusted often. I always feel better after seeing him. He’s so great that I come to see him all the way from Portland every two weeks. He’s the only chiropractor I trust.

My husband and I just went to Elite Health Practice for the first time, and left for the last time. We live right up the street, and my husband likes to get regular adjustments and since we’re new to the area, we don’t have a go-​to chiropractor yet.
We walked in, the receptionist didn’t greet us. She couldn’t be bothered to look up from her stapling task. We looked at the price list, my husband asked what kind of adjustments the Dr. specializes in/​what techniques he uses. She looked at us like we were stupid and replied with «i don’t know. He does all kinds». So my husband said, «okay I guess I’ll look online to find out more info before making an appointment then». She said «ok bye». She was EXTREMELY condescending and rude. I’m not sure what her issue is, but I am SHOCKED that she still has a job and I’m very surprised that someone would hire someone so rude and someone with zero people skills to greet potential new customers and existing customers!
We will NOT be back. You guys really should hire a friendly, helpful receptionist who is happy to see new people. As business owners ourselves, that was utterly baffling. Good luck expanding your customer base/​keeping existing customers around with someone so uninspiring and rude.

I’ve been seeing Pawen for the last few months due to a stubborn neck injury and shoulder pain. At first I felt very apprehensive about getting adjusted, but he made it very easy to get comfortable in the office (the massage chair doesn’t hurt either). I always walk out of here feeling much better than when I arrived. This chiropractor is knowledgable, positive, friendly and professional. Most of all, he takes his time with his clients and I never feel rushed or unheard. Would highly recommend not only for those struggling with an injury, but also for those who are looking to increase feelings of health and balance.

Dr. Dhokal and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgable. He works with a variety of patient types. I would recommend him to any patient in need of chiropractic care. His office is easy to find at an awesome, modern location.

Made a same day appointment for neck pain. The office is clean and easy to find. I got to wait in their massage chair. The adjustment was great and felt better as I left. Dr. Dhokal was very professional and courteous.

SO happy I just discovered this location! The doctor here is the most personable professional I have ever met. He took the time to figure out what was going on with my body and he didn’t overwhelm me with too much information on the first visit. We have a great plan and I will be back next week. I stand on my feet all day and trust me this experience I had I have no doubt will help me with the pain that goes along with my profession.

I’m not sure this place exists. I have called it several times and just get a generic voicemail. I have never received a call back. Either the place is shut down, moved, or they will not return a call. It’s unfortunate, because all of the reviews are positive.

Great guy! Very dedicated and knows what he is doing. My neck and back pain have reduced a ton because of his adjustments and stretching recommendations. If you are in pain or simply sit a lot around school or work, pay him a visit. He is also very flexible and understands your needs. Now I am weekly patient. Thanks a lot Dr. D! Oh by the way, DONT miss massages on weekends, they rock and completely eliminate stress.

Love this guy. I walked by his clinic on 10^th street a few times and was curious. called the number and set up an appointment. great experience. I get an adjustment regularly just to help with my active lifestyle. I sit a lot at my computer as well, so this helps reduce the strain on my spine. Great guy, great place. you will like it.

What can I say? He is a friendly, no-​nonsense and very affordable downtown chiropractor. He has a flexible schedule and is quick to respond to appointment requests.
When I first went to see him I didn’t have a ton of energy and had some issues with my neck movement. I have since been going twice and month and I feel great! Good thing is if your feeling some pain and can’t wait until your next appointment he is very accommodating to fit you in and work around your schedule.
If you have never been to a chiropractor, don’t worry, Dr. Dhokal explains everything and makes you feel very comfortable. Don’t go anywhere else downtown. Elite Health is the best.

Dr. Dhokal is awesome. After going to another chiropractor in town that felt like a used car dealership (tried to sell me into year-​long membership contract!), he was a breathe of fresh air! His method of doing muscle work along with chiropractic adjustments is amazing — after just three visits I feel so much better. His rates are much better than other places around town and his personal approach is great.

Dr Dhokal is fantastic. He is caring, thorough and most importantly what he does has made a BIG difference to my well being. His techniques are very effective and after just a couple of visits I am pain free and moving free. I went to him with alot of problems from lower back and neck issues to a badly sprained ankle and recently broken wrist… so I wasn’t travelling too good!
