Acupuncture IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease including Crohn’s, Ulcerative Colitis, etc.):

Because there is no known cure for IBD, many patients feel frustrated or even hopeless. However, many IBD sufferers have found that acupupuncture can bring relief from the side effects of drugs (such as immune suppressants or steroids) and help them regain good health. Recent scientific studies have shown that acupuncture can relieve pain and provide impressive therapeutic effects for both IBD and IBS sufferers. I have studied and worked on these issues extensively.

History

Established in 2005.

Eileen is a board certified acupuncturist with years of extensive training and practice in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and uses the uniquely effective Balance Method to help her patients experience reliable and effective pain relief.

Eileen graduated from the University of East/​West Medicine in Sunnyvale, California with a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine. Her coursework in TCM was integrated with instruction in Western medical sciences and practice management. Eileen’s training includes diagnosis, treatment, evaluation, and professional conduct. She then advanced to TCM studies in internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, traumatology, and external medicine.

Eileen Han, also known by her Chinese name Yue-​Ling, practice acupuncture in San Diego, California.

She was born in Taiwan, Taipei and moved to the US at the age of 25. After studying International business at San Jose State University, Eileen spent 10 years managing acupuncture supplies company worldwide distribution center in San Jose, California.

In 1998, Eileen began to study acupuncture under Dr. Richard Tan, the world class acupuncture master, for the Balance Method.

Cannot say enough about Eileen Han. I pulled the muscles in my lower back and needed help just to get out of bed. Could hardly walk and the pain was incredible. She fit me into her busy schedule the morning I called. After that first session with Eileen I was off the pain medication the next morning, after the third I have little to no pain. She also helped me with shoulder pain from being on this darn computer too long!

I was originally referred to this clinic –and Dr. Richard Tan – by a fantastic traditional practitioner in SF, CA.
I was treated by Dr. Tan and through him met his talented associate Eileen Han. Eileen is amazing!!! Sweet, caring, thorough, professional, patient, kind and dedicated to her Clients. Her Mentor chose wisely when he referred Clients to Eileen. She is a joy to be around and immediately makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. I adore Eileen and highly recommend her clinic and wonderful Staff.

Eileen is simply an Angel on earth! Her healing touch is a combination of knowledge, compassion, dedication. I have never met such a gifted healer in my life. I have been going to Eileen for almost 10 years. She has gotten me through two serious surgeries and a variety of ailments. She made house calls when I could not make it to the office. I highly recommend you go here if you want whatever that ails you to go away in a few sessions and in my case three sessions. She works wonders!
Unfortunately, I am not giving this place 5 stars because the location is cramped and it was hectic the times I came in. The chiropractor kept running in and out in order to service every patient so it wasn’t as peaceful as you’d want it to be considering you have needles poking you in different areas.

Eileen is all around amazing! Not only does she help heal you, she is very easygoing and personable that you can’t help but fall in love with her.
I went in for a pinched nerve in my neck that extended down into my shoulders and hand, which bothered me for about a year (longest, miserable year of my life). One visit to Eileen and the pain in my hand was gone. A couple more visits helped my neck and shoulder issues become manageable. Any time I feel my neck/​shoulder acting up, I visit Eileen, and I’m so much better. I feel like I’ve become dependent on her acupuncture skills for all my body issues.
I actually moved away from San Diego and leaving Eileen behind was one of the toughest things I had to do. I miss you Eileen!

Finding Eileen was the best gift ever… I couldn’t have dreamed up a better healing source for my body and mind. Her treatments get right to the source of what is going on, which I myself don’ event know sometimes, it just works. And treatment is nothing without a good person behind the treatment, and Eileen is a loving acupuncturist and more. I am grateful beyond words for her help. She has addressed many areas of my life. I have tried other acupuncturists because I live quite far from her, and nobody compares… so I make the 2 hour drive because the person behind the treatment matters that much to me. Once you try different people, you will understand the difference her presence and expertise makes. Best treatment ever :) So grateful.

Thanks to Eileen for my ‘vacation needles’ they have eased the symptoms associated with chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia and auto immune diseases. Added bonus she has taken the arthritus/​bursitus aches from my hips and lower back. Meds have nearly been eliminated.

This is my happy place =). Eileen is AMAZING!!! Veronica her assistant is awesome as well, great with appointments, and with anything else you may need! This past year I have been feeling so unbalanced. Chronic fatigue, insomnia, stress, anxiety, irritability, tension and pain in my neck and shoulders. When I met Eileen we connected. No need to tell her much because she can read you like a book. She knew what I needed. After the first treatment I felt a difference. I’ve now had a couple of treatments and I feel GREAT. I sleep so good at least 8 hours per night, and I sleep straight, no more waking up in the middle of the night! No more pain in my neck and shoulders. I have not had caffeine since I’ve started getting treatments from her. No more anxiety or irritability. I’m so HAPPY and have so much ENERGY. It’s amazing! She is the best in her field and knows what’s best for her patients. She is also very sweet beautiful and funny. I love going to see her. She has healed me emotionally and physically. Eileen Han is a very skilled, intuitive, compassionate and experienced acupuncturist. I have been seeing her for almost 2 years for various treatments, including cripling back pain. The pain would be so terrible at times that I could not move or do anything for myself. When this would happen, I would immediately go and see Eileen and after a treatment, the pain would be much less. My friends and colleagues were amazed to see the relief the acupuncture provided me.
Eileen explains what is going on in your body and works with you to treat the greater issue at hand; She doesn’t just treat your symptoms but really gets to the root of issue, the cause of the symptoms. She treats a range of issues and illnesses and wants the best for her patients. Some of the treatments do take time and she will let you know how long your treatment plan may be. Don’t be discouraged if your plan is longer than you anticipated, because the time and money (very reasonable pricing) is worth it!

Eileen is a fantastic person and very knowledgeable acupuncturist and healer. Her coworker, Veronica, is also fantastic and the office has a very peaceful and positive energy flowing through. It’s a great place to be!

I have been referred to Eileen by one of my friend. I was not new to acupuncture but I was blowed away by Eileen skills and intuition. No need to tell her too much, lol. She is reading an opened book when she screens you. I reached to her for anxiety, depression and to balance my hormones (cramping, irregular periods.) since I am entering in my peri menopause. She had help me a great deal. Don’t assume it take a session, it takes regularity to see her and stick to her recommended plan if you want the most results out of it.

I feel like I owe her a lot.
I started seeing her when I was 7 to 8 months pregnant. I had excruciating back pain. I saw 2 different chiropractors but my pain got worse.
I Unilocaled and found her information. Right after her first treatment, I felt so much better. I started seeing her twice a week. Within 3 weeks my pain was gone and I felt alive again. Pain made me depressed but her uplifting personality made me smile and helped me focus on good things. (like BABY!) If laughter is the best medicine, she got this.
At 36wks pregnant, my baby was still in breech position. Eileen said she was going to fix it. A few days later my midwife said my baby turned.
I told Eileen that I wanted to deliver this baby naturally (without epidural) and I wanted a fast smooth labor. I had to induce my first baby because he was 2 weeks late, and I hated the whole induction thing. Eileen gave me special THICK needles on my thigh, and it gave me electrical shock-​like sensation. It was not fun at all but she said that sensation helped induce labor. And yes it did! Although my 2nd baby arrived 1 week late, the total labor was only 3 hrs and 30 minutes and I was able to deliver naturally under the water at birth center. And my recovery was fantastic.
I can’t thank her enough. Eileen definitely made my pregnancy pain-​free. My birthing was so beautiful and so empowering. I truly believe she helped me experience this amazing journey.

Eileen has been such a positive change for my life. She has helped me heal emotionally and physically. I was so out of balance I didn’t know where to start and Eileen transformed everything. My anxiety is gone, stress better managed, cycle regulated, and adrenal fatigue is on the mend! First of all I have to say that Eileen is amazing! I have a slipped disc along with pinched nerves and other problems caused over time from my L5 slipping forward. Over the past 10 years I have been to several chiropractors and had also given acupuncture a try and it was never very helpful until I found Eileen! I went into her office in complete pain and within seconds of her treatment I had relief. I have always been against medicine and have refused to take it and just live in pain. Thanks to Eileen I am now pain free most of the days and when I am feeling an ache I rush to her office and am like new before I know it! Thanks Eileen!

I came to Eileen for horrible sciatic pain caused by a herniated L4/​L5 disc. I have been in constant pain for almost 9 months. The pain had completely taken over my life.
This was a last ditch attempt to avoid back surgery and save my sanity.
After the first treatment I was pain free for three hours. Doesn’t sound like much, but it was incredible. Treatments 2 – 9 brought on and off relief but each treatment got a little better. By treatment 10 I had almost zero pain. It was better than a miracle for me!
Let me also mention I hate needles. While it’s not completely painless it’s a small price to pay for the relief.
Eileen has a great bedside manner and does everything she can to ensure a quick, painless visit. They also handled all the insurance bs for me. I just pay my kaiser copay and I’m good.
If you suffer from chronic pain, run don’t walk here.

I messed up my back months ago, ive tried everything, ibuprofen, ice, heat, massages, pills, doctors who dont wanna help and only wanna prescribe pills … anyhow I decided to try this acupuncture a shot and figured why not. I felt immediate results and will continue to go back. Theres a friendly and pretty girl who works at the front desk (Veronica) and assists the acupuncturist very well. Eileen the acupuncturist really is something else, not only is she beautiful but shes very intelligent and knowledgeable in natural medicine. Its very difficult for me to describe how my body is healing and changing, its almost like a door has opened connecting my mind, soul, and body together. I feel stronger, better, and sharper … THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !

Eileen’s acupuncture and healing is as good as it gets!
She completely healed the pinched nerve I had in my shoulder/​neck area that was particularly troublesome. Previously, I’ve tried massage therapy, yoga, and my trusty foam roller to alleviate the pain, but none of them managed to stymie the problem.
In comes Eileen. After 2 sessions of poking me with needles and making me laugh with her jokes, I can say that I am healed up and ready to get back to my life.
Eileen is a great person, prepare yourself for some therapy and comedy.

I threw out my back doing «Blissful Hip Opening Yoga». .. at home.
So blissful. SO PAINFUL.
Something about back pain brings out the hypochondriac in me. As most women do, I carry a lot of stress in my upper back and shoulders, getting massages regularly. This was a beast — it was infinitely worse than any of my previous back spasms or pain. As it got progressively worse in the span of two weeks and turned into shooting nerve pains, I was convinced that I was suffering from sciatica, nerve damage, maybe even carpal tunnel with a side of cracked back. For a brief moment, I thought I was becoming paralyzed, but I think that was my 14th Advil talking to me through my blackened and charred liver.
I called Eileen on New Years Eve, determined to extinguish the residual pain that 13 Advil were leaving behind. She was amazingly kind and agreed that I needed to start my New Year pain free. Even though she was playing Kenny Rogers when I arrived, the entire session was painless and I literally felt MUCH better the next day. .. with virtually NO pain by the next three days.
My homeopathy? = Suffer for 14 days. Eileen’s Chinese Medicine? = Endure for 3 days.
Eileen has a great attitude and told me that as much as I want to think I’m special, she sees my cases all the time. That actually made me feel much better about gimpin’ in the new year in style. THANKS EILEEN!!!
