Established in 1979.

Dr. Harver began this business in Bonita, CA in 1979, moving to a new location in Bonita in 1989. The current office is located in an easily accessible business center on Bonita Road, and is very warm and inviting. This business prides itself on the family atmosphere created for patients and the professional attitude of employees as well as the doctors.

In August of 2012 Dr. Tina Chiou joined the practice as an associate doctor.

Needed a new optometrist because my previous doctor was kinda weird and was always sloppily dressed. Never really answered my questions and when I purchased glasses, was told one price but ended up paying more due to «an error». This happened twice.
My husband came here last year and was really pleased with the doctor and the staff, so I gave them a try. I had an early appointment (0710 hrs) and was greeted at the reception desk by Dr Harver himself. I completed some very simple paperwork and we were on to the exam.
The exam was very thorough. He explained everything we were going to do before we did it. I felt very comfortable and he was more than kind. Afterward, he explained his findings and we went through some lens combinations to find what helped me the most.
I went on to select some frames and completed the transaction. All went smoothly and I didn’t feel rushed in the slightest. I am extremely pleased with this experience and will definitely return for future exams. Thank you, Dr Harver!

Dr. Harver and his staff are great. Super friendly and helpful. My parents, sister, and I have been going here for many years now. I appreciate the friendly, knowledgeable people here. They are very prompt, appointments are usually on time and efficient.

We have been going to Dr. Harver for over ten years now and he is the best ophthalmologist I have ever visited. My wife and I both have tricky eye conditions, and I credit Dr. Harver for helping me see, which is if paramount importance to me as I am a photographer.
The office waiting area is bright and comfortable, and his receptionist Susie is very efficient and courteous. The examinations are always very thorough and Dr. Harver goes out of his way to find the right prescriptions which is not easy for my contact lenses. He is a very patient and courteous Doctor with excellent communication skills, to make it clear to the patients what heir eye conditions are and what can be done about it.
I can highly recommend him to everyone and have already passed his name on to several friends.
