Early Learners Children’s Academy

We’ve been extremely happy with ELCA! Our daughter has been going there for nearly a year now. It is so much more than just a daycare. She is learning new things every day, loves all of the teachers, and is well cared for. I love how they have a Christmas program, summer program, and other activities throughout the year. They really do a great job and I’m happy to have found them.

Our family has been at ELCA for several months now, and we are so lucky to have our 2-​year-​old son here. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly in nature, and my son’s teacher Camille is exceptional and outstanding and wonderful and… well, I just cannot say enough good things about her. The communication between the school and parents is terrific. The curriculum is adjusted perfectly for each age group — enough to keep the kids engaged in their learning and development, but not so much that it’s rigid. I love how each week has a theme that gets woven into what they learn. I feel that my son is thriving in this loving, enriching, and safe environment.

We haven’t been there long but so far I’m loving it.
For the first time since putting my children in childcare… (7 years and counting) my youngest is not completely distraught and crying when I drop her off. I love the communication between all the teachers, the teachers and the families, and the directors and the families. Everyone here has way more patience than I do and I can’t say enough good things about them!

Love ELCA! All the staff is wonderful and my daughter especially loves her teachers very much. It’s so nice to know that your child is in good hands while you’re away. And munchkin town is awesome!

I’ve had my 3 year old at ELCA since he was 1 year old after trying out 3 different home daycares. I now have my 5 month old and know every time I drop them off they are in the best of hands. The staff is amazing and the management is as well. I feel like I’m leaving my babies with family and I never worry because I know they are being loved. So glad I found this daycare when I did. The prices are very affordable!

My daughter is almost 5 years old, and has been with ELCA since she was 3 months. And I however, can not say enough positive things about this place and its staff!
My daughter has learned so much here! From assisting with potty training, learning her alphabet, planting a garden, reading & writing simple words, to positive reinforcement on do’s and dont’s, etc. This place is more then I could’ve ever asked for!
What more can I say:

— I am always kept up to speed on how my daughters day went.
— The play area upstairs, Muchkin Town, is amazing!
— I feel completely safe with my daughter being here.

— The additional things such as, having a dentist come by and teach the importance of brushing your teach, to police man/​fire fighter visits, the Easter Bunny visit, the Santa visit, to movie nights.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ELCA to anyone looking for the best for their child. It’s more then just a day care, it’s a fun education your child will get here.

I LOVE LOVE EARLY LEARNERS CHILDREN’S ACADEMY. My 4 year old daughter attends and she enjoys going every day. She likes the different ways of learning no matter if it’s through song, writing or playing. These teachers come up new ideas on how to keep the kids engaged and enjoy the subject they are learning. My daughter comes home with complete joy to show what new number, letter or word she may have learned. I love seeing the smile on my daughters face when I pick her up.
The teachers are very hands on with every child. Each child gets the feeling they are getting one on one time with their teachers in a classroom setting. The staff loves every child like they were their own. My daughter loves helping at home now. We make a game out of it sometimes.
The building is keep clean and organized. I love that every room is keep up throughout the day. Every child learning how to pick up after themselves and how to treat others with respect. The new play area Munchkin Town is AMAZING!!! It’s one of the most creative little villages I have ever seen. Children acting out things that they see their parents do and watching their imagination grow with new ideas.
Everything that my daughter leans she brings home little by little and tries to impart it into her day life. So I know that my daughter is getting the best learning experience to prepare her for kindergarten next year.
I will recommend ELCA in EVERYONE that is trying to find child care for their little ones.

We are very happy with our experience at ELCA! We originally had our son enrolled in another daycare and we hated it! In a panic, we started looking for other places, and I immediately called ELCA because they were close to home and work. They had a spot, so I took a tour that day and booked in! I am so thankful we found this place. Both my husband and I love it, and we love the fact that when we walk in, everyone know’s our sons name and says hi to us! Our little guy gets excited when we get to school and loves his teachers. Everyone is so friendly, and we know our son is in good hands when we are at work, which is so important to us! Leaving our baby is never easy, but knowing he is happy and all smiles when he gets to school makes it a little easier!

We have nothing but positive things to say about ELCA. Our little one has been attending since December 2013 at just over 3 months. Although going back to work was tough, it really eased our minds knowing she was close to our work and we could visit her whenever we could.

2. The staff has genuine love for our little one
3. There was never any weirdness about visiting as often as we like
4. The staff is honest and transparent with us
Their prices are fair and they are a bunch of very caring, wonderful ladies.
I have recommended them to several co-​workers and friends and they came recommended by some very discerning co-​workers.
Knowing your little one is loved actually makes it that much easier to drop them off.

my daughter now attends ELCA and she did hesitate at first. My girl is 3 years old and attends 3 consecutive days. i pay about 150 a week. she now knows the staff and has not had a rough morning since her first week. toilet areas are clean. kitchen is clean. i picked up my daughter a few times and I feel as if the poor afternoon teacher is overwhelmed with the children as they are all screaming at the top of their lungs and running around like chickens. my girl does come home with a daily report that includes her potty breaks and what and when she eats, as well as how long her naps are. So far so good ELCA! keep it up

I take my nephew to this location and couldn’t be happier with the service. They are extremely friendly and they are very sensitive to his needs. I would definitely recommend this location.

My son has been enrolled for about a month now and we have to take him out due to a relocation. I am very sad that we have to leave early learners. They have been nothing but helpful even when my son was causing problems. The teacher and staff worked with him. I am very happy with the care we have gotten. If we were not moving we would be keeping him there until her goes to kinder.

Our son has been attending ELCA for just over a year now. Whenever we have had any concerns I’ve been able to speak with the directors as well as the owner and have resolution. The infant teachers are wonderful. I haven’t yet experienced the older classes as our son isn’t old enough yet.

I’m not sure about the above reviews but I have never had a problem with anyone at this center. My daughter has been going to ELCA for a few months now and we both love it. She is excited to go to see her friends and it has provided an educational and challenging but fun experience for my toddler. We have been to several other centers in the area and I was never as comfortable. We love all the staff at ELCA and I always recommend it to anyone who is looking for Childcare.

I searched a long time for a daycare for our son, found this one when I was 11 months pregnant it was close to our home and it had a good feeling when you walked in. I am very much a good feeling person and it felt right.
My focus was the infant room since my son would start when he was 4 months, one thing I loved is that they change the kids outside of the room on changing tables which keeps the rooms from smelling. The kids have cubbies that hold their extra clothes, food and bibs for any accidents. I stayed on my free half day to see how the teachers would interact with my son and it was great. Ms. Celene and Ms. Patricia are awesome with him and show him so much love that when I drop him off he is so happy to see them. Since he has been there they have followed my feeding schedule, gave me feedback on how he eats, also give us a progress reports and when I miss him I text them for a picture which helps me through the day. It is hard when you work fulltime and only see your child but maybe 2 hours a day so it is very important to me to know my son is getting lots of love and attention.
I did have an issue with my son being moved to a room without my notice but after a meeting with the owner I know it was all miscommunication and that it would not happen again. This is a family business and I was happy I could meet with the owner to discuss our issues and not feel like my son would be treated any differently.
For those mothers looking for daycare for your infants 6weeks to a year I highly recommend the infant room here (I do not have experience in the other rooms yet but I know those teachers are great also just want to make sure I focus on the room I know best) I have seen a premie in there and she is doing awesome so they are very qualified to take care of your baby. It is nerve recking leaving your child but I have such a wonderful relationship with his teachers if I ever need anything they are there for us. I was blessed to find this place.

In 2008, we enrolled our then 22 month old in ELCA. During my tour of the facility, I noticed the other childern who were the same age as my son feeding themselves, following instructions and learning how to be independent. I was a little unsure because my son was pretty hyper and hated taking naps. The director at that time, Ms. Ana, would send me pictures of my son’s progress while I was at work. My son was feeding himself, sitting at the table with the other kids, playing nicely, waiting his turn in line during playtime and quietly taking a nap on his nap. We kept him at ELCA through pre-​K II. All his teachers were wonderful! Before he started Kindergarten last year, our son was able to read, write and spell.
Our middle son has also been attending ELCA for the last 2 years. This year he started the pre-​K II program. He can already write most of the alphabet and loves going to school.
Lastly, our youngest, 19 mos, just started attending the infant/​toddler program. He is already learning to feed himself with a spoon! It has been a bit of an adjustment for the little guy but his teachers know just how to calm his nerves.
I have always found the staff and management easy to work with. They have been flexible and understanding if I needed to change or add days to my children’s schedule. The owners are very receptive to suggestions and concerns. I have no doubt my babies are being well taken care of while we are away at work.
