E.J. Michael Studio is a licensed, bonded, and insured painting contractor. We are experts at all phases of architectual coatings. Interior and exterior repair and painting. Additionally we specialize in cabinetry finishes for both new and existing.

Trained in fine European finishes from venetian plaster to color glaze walls. We have extensive samples of work ranging from French paper wall techniques to mettalic leafing. Old world finishes are our forte.

History

Established in 1991.

We have been licensed since 1991. After forming our partnership we worked extensively throughout California on mainly high end custom homes. Working directly with designers and builders on creating beautiful finishes to walls, furniture, and cabinetry. Demand for our services has allowed us to work in places like Lake Tahoe, Palm Springs, Rancho Santa Fe, and Indian Wells.

Business Owner

I have been involved in the building industry since college working part time as a house painter. I beacame licensed in 1991 and began contracting in San Diego as well as Orange county. My partner was trained by French artist in European finishes. Over the years we have expanded our business and worked with top designers.

In additon to running the finish business I enjoy being outdoors riding motorcycles and surfing.
