This place is great. Tom and Sandy couldn’t be more friendly or helpful, I will definitely get all of my work done here from now on. I can’t say enough good things about them.

Met Tom for the 1^st time and brought in my old ’85 Nighthawk 700s for tire change. I also had some other questions and Tom answered them all. He even bled my front brake because I mentioned that I would have that done next time. He did it for free and didn’t have to! He seems extremely knowledgeable about his craft and I get the feeling that this is his life’s work. I am very fortunate that this shop is in my neighborhood. I will definitely be back again.

You don’t even need me to convince you on anything, everyone gives Tom and his wife Sandy’s shop 5 stars for a reason. They are the nicest people I have EVER met. I brought my R6 to them for a valve job, redo throttle bodies and a new battery. My gas tank ended up being punctured from the previous owner. Long story short my bike was there for a little over a month because of that (they have awesome shop rates too!). I went to go to a salvage yard (i will not name names) but it was horrible. If you need any parts for your bike just order them online lol. Anyways, Tom and Sandy were completely understanding and supportive the entire time and for that I thank them, they are incredible people! If I need anything else on my bike I’m definitely going to them again. The only con with their shop is that there is only one Tom and one Sandy hahah. You may have to wait to get your bike or whatever you need, serviced, but it is 100% worth the wait to have it done right the first time.

Needed to come in for a simple front tire change for my K7 GSXR750. Bought the tire online although DWS does carry a limited supply of tires for sportbike, dirt, cruiser. Came in before close of business and just left the bike overnight. I did receive a call in 1 hour that service was complete. They house all bikes/​vessels in the garage if overnight. Came back first thing in the a. m about 10 mins before they opened. Tom (owner) was already working. Tom gave me a very thorough inspection report despite him just changing my front tire. He brought the bike around front and told me he checked my rear tire pressure, oil, adjusted the slack on my free-​play on the throttle, and adjusted the slack on my chain all with no extra charge. This is the reason I am giving 5 stars. Going the extra mile and going above and beyond the services requested is what makes clients loyal and refers others. Tom was very knowledgeable and very friendly. Took time out of his schedule to answer all of my questions. Would highly recommend and refer. I’ll be back for putting my rear tires and my next maintenance service.
Ps: tire mount & balance was $ 40+ with new valve stems for a couple bucks. $ 30 if you bring in the tire. There are a couple places slightly cheaper but for customer service like this, it’s worth it.

AMAZING DOESN’T EVEN BEGIN TO DESCRIBED THIS PLACE! Had my tire changed and it was done within mins and was done at a great price!!! I think it helped I came RIGHT as they opened. DEFINITELY coming back for my motorcycle needs in the future!

Friendly and helpful. Tom and Sandy are honest and very helpful. Brought my ducati in on a same day Tire mount and balance. Quick service and fair prices. Definitely come here with any motorcycle work you don’t wanna do yourself.

After dealing with all the shenanigans at NKB it was time for me to find a new shop. I went to DWS which is right down the street and found one of the best mechanics in town that works on bikes. The pricing is fair, the work is done correctly and promptly. I am glad to have found this little hidden gem.

This is my second time going into their shop first time was to rebuild my forks and ended up also getting my brakes done as well. They also was nice enough to give me a ride home. They were very quick too. Had my bike back within to days. Plus Tom went above and beyond by twisting back my foot peg (from when I had dropped my bike), lubricating my kickstand, and polishing up my bike.
Second time: even though Tom had a full work load. He made time to check out mine (broke fuel line, & coolant leak) and my dad’s bike (steering, & tires) and give us an estimate. Tom and Sandy really put their customers first. They are my to go to shop and I recommend them to all my biker friends.

Been going to Tom for a couple years now and probably had over 10 different maintenance/​repairs done for several bikes. He’s very accomodating with the best prices I’ve found. Plus, he and his wife are welcoming, friendly, honest, and genuine. I took my older 2000 r6 to him, and that thing had problems. Always new leaks, wear and tear, and engine problems. I sold it and bought a new r1, and I trust him to repair and maintain it more than I trust fun bike center.

Found DWS here through Unilocal,and with the glowing reviews I thought I’d give them a try. Called in for a quote and parts availability check for an oil change and minor service. Tom had answered, said he had all the parts available, and could take me in same day!
I came in expecting to wait but there was absolutely no wait, and I was in and out very quickly. Tom is efficient and provides very affordable reliable service. Tom recommended some work for my beat up cbr 250r and you can bet I’ll be bringing it back to him. If there’s a part that e doesn’t have he usually can get it next day for you like he did for me. VERY FAST!

This place is the best, honest, very fairly priced on repairs. I have a 2007 rxt and rxp seadoo. I took my rxt in for diagnosis, I am fairly mechanical but this problem had me stumped. Tom was quick to get on the job 5 min after I got there and he listened to all the things I had done in the trouble shooting process, when he agreed with my steps he would say yeh thats right, when he didn’t agree he would say no that is not the way these machines work and explain why. I will never take my dirt bikes, quads, or water toys anywhere else. Did I mention how honest this guy is. Trust me on this one don’t take your bikes or water toys anywhere else. Rich Smith

Tom performed the 12k miles maintenance on my 2004 Triumph Daytona 955i. He was meticulous with the work and let me source out my own parts to save a few bucks. He did a thorough inspection of the bike and told me maintenance items that needed to be addressed such as tires. But he also mentioned that my valve clearances needed no adjustment and were towards the maximum tolerances and that I probably would not need the valves adjusted at the 24k interval. I don’t know to many mechanics telling me you don’t have to come back and give me more money. Tom has extensive experience working with the big motorcycle shops in town and he has all the equipment needed even to mount tires and balance. His prices are excellent and I paid 50% of what the triumph dealership quoted me. Thanks again Tom!

Great service! Reasonable prices… blew a rear tire near Carmel Valley rd on the 5 North. Got dropped off and they fixed it right away and brought me back to my bike! Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable!

I could not be happier with the service and most of all the performance of my quad after they worked on my carburetor. Installed a jet kit tuned to my exhaust, replaced my carburetor, and my Suzuki 400 runs better than ever.
I can’t thank you guys enough for doing such a great job, delivered on time, stayed within initial estimate, and the end result is my quad rocks. Thank you.

I visited Tom & his wife when they were still working out of their home garage. I needed some tires mounted on my Speed Triple; he had the tires mounted in no time flat for the lowest price you can find in San Diego. Friendly, fast, expert service! Thanks again Tom! I’ve gone to Tom a few times when he was still working out of his home garage. Very knowledgeable mechanic and fast to boot! He’ll tell you exactly what you need fixed and won’t try and charge you for more. Tom runs a clean operation and I’ll continue to go to him.

After 3 attempts to have my YFZ450 carb cleaned and tuned by a so called expert, I gave up and took it to Tom. Before he even took it apart he told me what the most likely issue was, carb was reassembled incorrectly. Sure enough it was, so while there he rejetted it for the pipe I had on there and got everything dialed in for my Thanksgiving trip to the desert. I was so impressed I gave him my second quad to do clean the carb and adjust the valves. Tom is not only knowledgeable, honest but turns things around very quickly.
He takes the time to explain the issue the corrective plan and if available gives you options on your situation. A genuine stand up shop I highly recommend DWS!!!

Tom has helped me out on a several occasions. I’m a DIY kind of guy but whenever there is something I can’t figure out or can’t handle myself, I give Tom a call. Tom and his wife are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and passionate about what they do. Also, the prices are very reasonable. Just today I swung by on my 2003 GSX-​R 1000 with a new rear tire to be swapped out. Tom had the new tire back on my bike in a matter of minutes and for the best price around town.
Tom’s new shop is clean and the waiting room is spacious.
