If there was a no star… this specialist would get it!!! I was referred by my primary and I was approved through my Molina insurance in June and was given the number to call for an appt. I called and they said they do not have any info on file. Then I would call back and several times they said my status was pending so I couldn’t set an appt. although I talked directly to my insurance and they said that it was approved a while back… The insurance company made a grievance because of the 2 month wait. Once I got in to see the provider, this Dr. Lipkis yelled at the top of his lungs stating that he knew I called Molina regarding the complaint. He stated he would never see another patient from Molina again and that no doctor would ever see me… He told me I had something on my liver before he went into his fit of rage. I would recommend no Molina patients nor anyone else to be treated by this physician and he should have his license taken and he should find a job that he enjoys… I think he is tired.

I met with Dr. Lipkis recently because of some on going issues I, unfortunately, have. I found him to be very personable and informative. I appreciate he asked questions to find out what was wrong with me vs. taking the diagnosis someone else had given me without necessarily having all the facts. He was humorous which I really appreciate with anyone, including a doctor. I found Dr. Lipkis to be knowledgeable and current on his specialty of gastroenterology.
I felt the office staff was very polite and responsive. I needed to change an appointment for a not so fun procedure and it was hassle free.

I’ve been going to Dr. Lipkis for several years and can’t understand the other reviews. Staff was very pleasant and was a positive experience. I had been to other internists and my symptoms remained an issue. Dr. Likpis found the problem very quickly and have been out of pain since. Thank you Dr.

I was referred to this doctor, by my primary. He didn’t bother to check my lab results and prescribed a med that compounded my problem and I ended up in the hospital for a week. He seemed very put out to have to see me on a Friday afternoon.

I have to agree with the other review! The Most LAME office staff i have ever come across. Zero communication, they do not return phone calls or call in the prescriptions the Doctor orders.
So if you acid reflex or heart burn DO NOT go to this office you will suffer along time! I went to see him in june it is now Aug 28^th and i still do not have the proper MEDS due to the poor service of the office staff! GOOD LUCK DR LIPKIS

This specialist apparently does not maintain sufficient staff to make you feel properly served. There is only a robot to answer the phone. When you choose the option for the physician’s assistant, there is a recording more than a month out of date. They don’t return calls once you have your appointment. Maybe they’re not making enough money to pay a full staff but I’m uncomfortable when I cannot communicate with my doctor. After the procedure I’m going to find another doctor to handle my treatment.
