Dehesa Charter School is a public school that provided students and parents with a personalized learning style education. Each student is given a learning plan that is specifically designed to address their unique individual interests, talents, strengths and weakness’. This incredible educational experience is provided at no charge to the parents or guardians of the students.

History

Established in 2000.

Dehesa Charter School is a K-​12 publicly-​funded school with a mission to provide personalized learning so that students may develop skills and knowledge necessary for success in an ever-​changing world. With 1200 students throughout San Diego, Riverside, and Orange Counties, no two students’ learning plans are the same. Teachers customize curriculum and instruction through the use of a learning styles profile and a variety of resources. Students are encouraged to use primary and community resources, utilize their talents and interests, and connect with mentors to make learning meaningful and memorable.
