Davanti Enoteca has an incredible selection of wines and specializes in contemporary Italian cuisine. The menu consists of small plates that are meant to be shared along with entrée size portions. The beautiful rustic décor creates the feeling of warmth and invites you to imagine you are in Italy.
History
Established in 2012.
Chef and proprietor Scott Harris opened the first Davanti in Chicago across from one of his famous Mia Francesca restaurants. He and his chefs traveled throughout Italy to find what now is the Davanti style. Chef Harris is known for his rustic cuisine consisting of simple and fresh ingredients. After the Chicago location Mr. Harris decided to open in Little Italy of San Diego which has become THE spot on India Street. His latest accomplishment has been the opening in Paradise Valley of Scottsdale Arizona.

Manager
Patrice has worked for Francesca Restaurants since 2003. She started at the quaint Francesca’s Intimo Lake Forest Illinois location and worked her way up. In 2006 she assisted in opening Francesca’s Famiglia in Barrington Illinois, where she managed and planned the special events. She currently resides in San Diego with her family upon the opening of Davanti and Mia Francesca in Del Mar.
