Order food to eat in, waited 20 min, when complained food had been ready for a while, packed to go on the counter. Three attendants chatting and laughing, didn’t call us, so we missed our movie. Won’t go there again.

I just moved to the neighborhood and wanted something healthy and quick to eat. I was driving by and saw Daphnes. I walked inside and was immediately welcomed by the girl at the register. I explained to her that I had never been to Daphnes and had no idea what to order. She asked me a couple of questions and told me exactly what to order, to my surprise she was right on point and that food hit the spot! I will definitely be going back for sure!

Hands down horrible service. Usually pretty laid back when it comes to fast food, but restaurant was pretty empty and it still took a good 20 minutes for food to come. And when it did come it was wrong and they forgot part of the order. The waitress was apologetic but then took another 20 minutes to bring the forgotten part that she said was«almost out» when the first batch came. Overall, completely unimpressed.

I love Daphne’s. The chicken is seasoned well and the Salmon is always Delish! I love the fire-roasted veggies as a side. Sign up to get Pita Points-I had a $ 5 credit waiting for me when I went in last time!

Love me some Daphne’s! My go to is the gyros… I’m old school so just Tzatziki(extra Tzatziki) and red onion… yum! Everything always tastes fresh. Daphne’s has always been a top choice because the whole family loves it.

Good healthy choices at affordable prices. I had the Mediterranian Veggie plate and liked the variety of falafel, pita, hummus, rice and salad. It’s a step above most ‘fast’ food.

Unfortunately this place has really gone down hill in the last few years. I think they changed ownership and the food is just not good. Chicken was burnt and dry. Service was good and very friendly though. Too bad food is eh. It used to be my favorite healthy grab and go lunch. I guess I will need to find a new place.

Outstanding customer service. The manager and staff are always nice and accommodating to their customers. Every time I’ve visited this place it has been clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating, which is great because there is plenty of room for everyone. I’m giving this place 3 stars because the quality of the food is somewhat questionable. I LOVE their feta fries and lemon chicken soup, but their meat is not the greatest.

I have been to other Daphne locations but for some reason the California Gryo bowl I order each time at this location just does not end up tasting that good.

Below average food quality. Free dental floss in the beef. They put cinnamon sugar on the chicken shawarma. BUT!!! They did give me some free HOUMUSS& pita. Hayyyyyy P. s. Not enough napkins Bye

Tasty healthy food! I ordered the salmon plate. Everything was great. The presentation was not so good but the taste made up for it. Good customer service too!

Just a little update: Sign up for Daphne’s e-club and they send a $ 5 off coupon for your birthday. I just stopped in last week to use my coupon and ended up getting my grilled chicken pita with fries for just $ 3. I’m not sure if they changed their pitas, or if I got my facts wrong in my earlier review, but Daphne’s now includes a tomato-cucumber combo in the pita. I’m not a fan of cucumbers so I asked for it to be served on the side so I could just add the tomatoes to the pita and feed the cucumbers to my dog, who strangely enough, loves cucumbers! I was surprised at how tasty the fries were here. Perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside!

Average. Same old but consistent. Clean, empty. The staff was nice. They brought the food out to our table, asked if we needed anything. Gyros consistent, nice grilled veggies. The hummus side was so tiny I thought it was a taster. Not expensive but only average.

Good food, good people and a nice place to sit and relax… Well designed with lots of windows and a TV with the current game on makes this restaurant a nice place to stop into after a long day of running around with the kids. If I could say one thing about this place it would be to add another employee to the mix to help with the flow of people and ordering, might ease the stress of having one person up front doing so much!

We came here straight from the airport the other night. Although it was close to closing time, they staff did not make us feel rushed at all. We ordered a bunch of diffract foods, the salad sampler was my favorite. My kids like getting the gyro plate and love the extra pitas. Food was good, but than anything the customer service was phenomenal

There are limited eatery options in the Torrey Hills neighborhood. So, if you need something in a hurry that in that part of town, Daphne’s is an okay option. But, it is nothing to go out of the way to try. The menu is fairly limited in selection. The food is bland and the portion sizes are just average. Adding the fire feta helps, if you like spicy, because the seasoning for the grilled meats is really subtle. Honestly, this menu doesn’t do «greek food» justice. It feels so watered down, and a little overpriced for what you are getting. If you need some quick food and want Greek, go for it. But, this is no place to bring a date. There menu does come with extensive allergy information, on request, which is helpful plus. The restaurant itself is very clean, open and light. The employees behind the counter are polite and helpful. The outside seating area is always clean and tidy. The chairs and seats surround a cheerful fountain, and in the evening, stringed lights provide a nice ambiance. The restaurant is located next to a small pet store, so there are usually several dogs in the outdoor seating area, usually next to an owner who is at one of the tables, or tied to a post waiting for an owner to finish shopping. It never seems loud or rowdy, but if you don’t like animals or are allergic to them, the outdoor ambiance might be blemished for you.

Fire feta makes everything better :) It’s a good, cheap, tasty, reliable meal. Grilled meat, pita, hummus and drum roll please… fire feta! Yes, it is that tasty.

Customer service, customer service! I have to say I have never had good customer service experience from ANY of the Daphne’s. I’ve made several cateering orders here and have always had one issue or another. Last order it took multiple calls just to change the credit card number on my order. When I received the order there were some errors as well. I get this is not fine dining but it should not be that difficult. If you look up calories the options aren’t really all that«healthy», and tastes meh. The pita points program is just a joke because you can only earn $ 5 in rewards per YEAR. Will not be ordering from this location again.

Tastes like every other daphne’s so I’m mostly reviewing this particular locations customer service. I always get it to-go since I don’t like their chairs ever since the redesign company wide. Just doesn’t look or feel comfy or cozy anymore. On the weekdays, they’re all nice, courteous, but they will randomly forget my utensils, napkins, or lose my form that I fill out for my pita points. Lunch hour gets a little busy and I have to wait an extra 5 minutes for my order, which isn’t horrible. On weekends, when I actually get out of the apartment it’s in the afternoon so it’s pretty dead in there. So they’re incredibly fast, friendly, chatty, and even gave me a free cookie since they lost my pita points form! But again forgot my napkins. In case you haven’t been to a Daphne’s before the food is pretty decent Greek food. Fresh and yummy salads, pitas sandwiches, and I’ll definitely be getting more cookies now that I know how good they are. It’s a chain, so it’s pretty consistent across the board, and dependable when traveling and don’t want to risk a 2 star lame sandwich place. *please see other reviews * All in all slow and steady wins the race!

Decent so-called«healthier» fast-food option. Not everything is fried nor slathered in oil. There are many vegetarian options. I like the Grilled Chicken kabobs and the hummus. The menu has seemed to evolve over the years into more of a «California fresh Mediterranean». Every dish seems a bit healthier than their standard robust original recipe.
