Horrible experience cost me tens of thousands! I got a new attorney no trial settled quickly.

By some stroke of luck I came across Daniel Warren’s ad in the Yellow Pages (when such a thing actually existed). I gave him a call (along with several others) and met with him for a consultation later that same day. I couldn’t believe I found someone as thorough and detail orientated as myself. And smart. Daniel really knows his stuff. He’s not condescending like the sleazeball I hired to handle my divorce, or a rip-​off like the idiot I hired years ago for a child custody issue. It’s hard to find someone to represent you that you can trust, let alone actually like. But with Daniel both of those were possible. He somehow manages to be decent person and a lawyer at the same time. I send everyone I know his way. My husband, my sister and several of our friends have hired him to represent them and ALL were more than happy with not only the outcome, but the experience overall. Daniel is excellent at what he does and I won’t hesitate to call him in the future should the need arise.

RE: Help with Restraining Orders
I was inclined to do the web research myself to defend against a restraining order filed by my retired next door neighbor who thinks my taking trash out at night is a personal act intended to harass her, as is every other bump in the night. Maybe I would’ve been just fine on my own without representation; however, by contracting Daniel Warren to represent me, I had confidence that my declaration included only pertinent information, the proper supporting material was present to reinforce my argument, and the procedure for filing my response was done just as the court required. Further, on the date of the hearing, given my wife has a bit of an anxious personality and it can sometimes be contagious, our nerves were calmed completely when I saw Daniel Warren arrive to the courthouse hallway heading our way. He read the judge very well and catered his responses on my behalf according to the judge’s personality. Further, I knew my opponent would not get away with anything that should not be allowed in such proceedings.
If you have the money to seek help on these matters, and you have a real genuine argument against the restraining order, Daniel Warren can help you out. For an issue as important as keeping my record clean and not letting my name be tarnished, spending the money for his help beats the alternative: potential for incorrect filing, and creating an opinion in the judge’s mind about me that won’t help my case (that is what my opponent did).
When I called the San Diego BAR, they referred me to Mark Reed for help and Daniel Warren called me back at his request. Daniel spent 45 minutes on the phone with me in consultation, speaking plainly and easily with me. Doing my due diligence, I called three other attorneys. One spoke down to me on the initial phone call, and I thought it was a little early for this considering we were just getting to know each other. The second never called me back. The third required a large consultation fee and would not see me for two weeks. I called Daniel Warren back and he again spoke to me for 30 minutes on the phone without hesitation. I then booked an appointment with him for only one day later. During that meeting he clearly explained the legal contract I was about to sign and encouraged questions so that I would be comfortable. I am very happy to have chosen him to represent me!
Reminder to folks who may choose representation by any attorney: He/​She is there to assist and provide counsel, but the declaration/​statement that is filed with the courts is still your own statement, and it is your responsibility to read it before submitting it to the court. Four stars for Daniel Warren because there were a few typos in the declaration that I found as I reread it, catching them in time for Daniel to correct them before submission. (At least this shows this review is written by a real client, because who nails themselves for typos?)

Daniel Warren is an excellent attorney! He has a genuine concern about the well-​being of his clients. He keeps in good touch and is able to relate information clearly. He is very prepared and well informed of the law. I have complete trust in him along with a sense of relief knowing that he will put the time and effort in that is needed.

I recently used Mr. Warren for a family law issue. Skeptical to use an attorney due to all the horror stories I’ve heard AND previous experiences w larger firms where they looked and treated me as a paycheck, Mr. Warren completely regained my faith.
He has extremely reasonable prices and sincerely kept my best interests at heart the entire time. Not only was Mr. Warren extremely professional and patient w me, but he went over everything in great detail and put it in layman’s terms so I could understand everything to the fullest.
I would recommend Mr. Warren to anyone who would like representation that actually cares about their best interest.
