At Cori-​ography, the key to partner dancing is all about connection. The focus is on follow and lead as you learn various dance styles and techniques so you’ll be comfortable in social dance settings. In addition to learning social Latin and Ballroom dances, wedding choreography is a specialty. Any age, any level, singles or couples. Get in shape, try a new hobby, enjoy a date night with your significant other.

Cori and the Music provides music for your special event. Pianist and singer/​songwriter, Cori covers a range of styles in romantic and soulful vocals and instrumental accompaniment. Perfect for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour or dinner party. She provides keyboard and sound equipment to make sure your day runs smoothly.

History

Established in 2007.

Growing up in New England, I was surrounded by music and began my studies in classical piano at the age of 4 at the University of Hartford’s Hartt School of Music. I studied into my twenties and began writing and moved my focus to popular music at the age of 14. I began my professional performance career during college. My love of music led to my study of dance as I wanted to expand my experiences. I wrote my senior research project at the University of Buenos Aires on the Argentine Tango. This led me to a career in professional ballroom after college. I have had the opportunity to open for the Dancing With The Stars Tour and work with schools and students of all ages in their dance programs. Throughout my university career and thereafter, I also experienced much teacher training and communications studies. All of my specialized knowledge and abilities have led me to my current day status as artist, performer, songwriter, teacher, and owner of my dual dance and music company.

Music, dance and the communication that comes with it is my passion, my life. Artistry is in my blood and I grew up in a household of entrepreneurs so this has always been my path. I am excited to work with all sorts of different people and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing how people grow and are affected through dance and music. I love what I do and I love the challenge of making it accessible to each of my clients!
