Description

Specialties

Cooperative Parenting, San Diego offers monthly co-parenting workshops throughout San Diego County focused on reducing the conflict between parents going through divorce, separation and custody issues. Topics include how to communicate and cope with the other parent, education on healthy dynamics of parenting between two homes and strengthening the ability to emotionally detach and think clearly. The curriculum addresses parents in all stages of conflict, low to high. Only one parent attends a particular workshop (both parents do not attend together). Our Certificate of Completion is accepted by the San Diego Superior Court.

History

Established in 2000.

Dr. Shari Delisle, Ph.D. created Cooperative Parenting in 2000 to serve the parents of San Diego County who were engaging in a legal dispute — divorce or custody action — in the Family Court of San Diego County. The program has graduated and improved the lives of thousands of parents.
