Liz has been a pleasure to work with, even when I was overseas and emailing in an order. She is suuuper accommodating, makes sure you get the best deal on your order, and obvi makes delicious cookies! I’m a huge fan of the salted caramel cookies, so I’d include a couple in your next order…

We had an assortment delivered to us as a gift recently. I get the gimmick, but the taste doesn’t follow through on it. I was surprised even the kids didn’t think they were that great.

I sent some cookies to a friend (who wasn’t feeling well), and she loved them! Great idea for a gift — better than sending flowers or a fruit basket in my opinion. Professional, friendly staff. Another great note… they are honest people! Had a slight issue with the billing, and they took care of it quickly and without hassle. I appreciate you folks at the Cookie Chew!

I LOVE these cookies. When I first tried them at an event I kept going back to get more because they were soooo good.
I’ve had them again since and they were just as good. I love the red velvet, Twisted Oats and the Salted Caramel. The fillings are such a genius addition to a regular cookie.

Yes, the cookies really are good. My favorite had to the be the stuffed truffie with the fig. It’s this really nice chewy in the middle but lightly crispy exterior brown sugar cookie with a stuffed balsamic fig truffle in the inside. If you like figs then you must try this– dark chocolate with figs is one of the best combos out there, I think. The portions are also good. Customer service was also excellent when I talked to them about shipping and their deals.

I got mine delivered to my office in San Francisco after seeing their stuffed cookies online. Everyone loves them, they were delivered quickly, placed in a pretty box with lots of cute paper and individually wrapped.
They’ve stayed fresh and the variety of flavors are to die for.

I ordered the mini sampler pack. The cookies were really good. This pack came with Sweet & Salty — Chunky Monkey — Twisted Oats — Gimme Smore’s — Velvet Love — Sweet Fiesta. I was really happy with all the flavors, but if I really had to narrow it down, it’d be the Sweet Fiesta and the Gimme Smore’s. Lisa, who I believe is the owner, was very kind and helpful with my order.
Word of caution if you plan to pick up the cookies, rather than having them delivered is, the website didn’t have the pick-​up address and second, when I went to pick them up, the boutique they were in was in a shop called «CAKE». I got lost looking for a sign called «The Cookie Chew.» Getting lost when in a cookie hunger mood isn’t fun.

You must try them! I tried her cookies at a wine/​cookies pairing event at Jake’s and they were fantabulous! Soft and chewy just the way I like em. I had the red velvet, salted caramel, cinnamon sugar cookie, and s’mores. Mmmmhmmm…
The owner LIz is such a doll with excellent customer service. She doesn’t have a store site yet, but like the Cookie Chew on FB to see where she may have events and check out the website to order her cookies!

I ordered my daughter the smores, mexican hot chocolate, and the red velvet for her birthday. I love the cute box they arrived in and she was more then excited to receive a package with her name on it more or less one that was full of sweet goodness!
We could not decided which ones we loved the best, pop them in the microwave for a few seconds… heaven!
We will be placing another order… SOON!

I don’t even know where to begin. Overall, a fabulous experience. The cookies were delicious, words just don’t do them justice. We tried the Sweet Fiesta Dark Chocolate Mexican Stuffed Cookies, the Peanut Butter Greatness, the Chocolate Hazelnut, and Gimmee S’mores Stuffed Cookies. If I absolutely had to pick a favorite, I’d have to go with the s’mores ones. But the others were just as yummy. What makes the Cookie Chew so great though, is their superb customer service. Liz is absolutely great. She answered my emails quickly and arranged for pick-​up (I was just to eager to try the cookies to wait for delivery, lol) Give them a try, I guarantee, you will not be disappointed. :)

It’s all about the sweet & salty salted caramel gourmet cookie! I was feeling sad and my boyfriend ordered three kinds of stuffed cookies to cheer me up: salted caramel, red velvet and s’more. The best cookie BY FAR was the salted caramel. It was the perfect amount of sweet, salty, chewy and crunchy. I normally don’t like caramel but the filling inside the cookie was delicious! The red velved and s’more cookies paled in comparison. Next time, I won’t bother ordering either. Although I might be convinced to try the chunky monkey stuffed cookie…
Since the business is still fairly new, there is no official bakery or store. When you order online for pick-​up, you have to drive to a specific location to pick them up. It was pretty far (I live in Rancho Penasquitos) but the drive was worth it! I will never eat a plain cookie ever again.

I saw the Unilocal deal for this place and couldn’t resist. Sooooooo glad I didn’t! I spent more than the voucher because there were so many flavors that I wanted to try and I was not disappointed with any of my choices. I got the Crunch Time, Sweet and Salty, and Twisted Oats flavors. Don’t even ask me to choose my favorite. That would be like asking me to choose my favorite parent… oh, no, wait, that’s my mom. Sorry, daddy.
As a side note, I had an issue with my cart and I sent an email requesting assistance. The owner responded immediately, resolved my issue, and got her tech guys on it so no one else would have the same issue. Good cookies and good customer service? How can you go wrong?
I will certainly be ordering more cookies from the Cookie Chew… maybe I’ll send some to my dad to soften the blow of not being my favorite parent…

Stuffed Cookies = Brilliant!
I realized that I had never really had a cookie until I tried one of the Cookie Chew’s stuffed cookies. They are so delicious, soft, and chewy. The combinations that they have created are also incredibly creative (Smores, Mexican Hot Chocolate) and make fantastic gifts.
Liz the owner is an absolute gem! This company is going to be huge as soon as people start catching on to just how DELICIOUS and MEMORABLE her cookies are!

YUM YUM and YUM!!! These cookies could not be any more delicious!!! I’ve tried virtually all the varieties and will continue to rave about each and every one — seriously, there’s not a bad one in the bunch!
We had The Cookie Chew cater our wedding — instead of cake, we did a full cookie bar and it was a total HIT!!! People are still talking about how incredible they were TO THIS DAY — every bride’s dream to have things remembered from your special day!
I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Liz and The Cookie Chew and I will continue to use them for my corporate events, marketing goodie giveaways, birthday and special event treats, and to fill my occasional Cookie Chew Cravings!!!

I just got these for Christmas Eve and they were AMAZING! Each different flavor was individually wrapped for freshness and to identify them which was a nice bonus. Oh yea and they were all delicious!

Damn. I ordered these cookies and when they came in the mail I almost cried out of excitement and joy. I sampled a cookie at a party a few weeks ago and couldn’t get to a computer fast enough to order more. I decided on the Sweet Fiesta, the S’mores and the Sweet and Salty. Each cookie was decadent, rich and amazingly good. Every happy cookie is stuffed with even more happiness inside. These are great for sweet cravings, dessert bars and pretty much every cookie jar in the world.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I introduce this to everyone I know and they fall in love with it instantly. It’s perfect for a light dessert — not to heavy yet full of deliciousness to fulfill your sweet-​tooth. I also do event planning and this is great for birthdays to weddings.

Cookie Chew offers a variety of their signature truffles (Peanut Butter Crunch, Smores, Mint Chocolate Cream, Cookies & Cream) and stuffed marbled sugar & chocolate cookies stuffed with your favorite candy bars (i.e. butterfinger, twix, snickers). One bite and you’ll just go BAAAAAAAANANAS!
For all you sweet tooth/​dessert lovers like myself… check this place out at your local farmers markets in SD or online. This is a place your taste buds do not want to miss out on! Definitely consider this place for weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc. because they do it all and their desserts and sweets are AAAAAAAMAZING!
Honestly, Cookie Chew gets 5 stars for creativity, 5 stars for presentation, and most certainly 5 stars for YUMMINESS! If they were on a dessert version of American Idol they would be on their way to Hollywood. no questions asked! These desserts are truly one of a kind and if you don’t believe me try it yourself… I promise you won’t regret it! Bön voyage Unilocalers :)
