I reluctantly gave this place a one star only because they do not allow you to give it zero stars. I have gone to them before. They did a good job. Nothing special, nothing horrible. I then tried them again and what a nightmare!!! I got 26 items dry-cleaned and out of those 26, five of them were damaged. They didn’t hesitate giving me my $ 2.75 or $ 4.00(dresses) back for the items damaged but they would not even think about giving me any money to compensate for the damage. The worst part was that she admitted that it was their doing but said unless I provided a receipt for all five items, she wouldn’t even compensate me a dime. Now I don’t know about most people but the minute I wear any clothing item, I throw away the receipt because it’s nonreturnable at that point. So, FIVE damaged items, ZERO dollars to compensate. Lastly, they had another dress of mine in the back and she said they had to dry-clean it again but I told her I would rather take it elsewhere because after damaging five of my items, I didn’t want to take anymore risks. She refused to give it back to me. I had to go so far as to threaten to get the police involved for stolen property. I got my item back within two hours. I feel bad for the sweet girls that work there but the older lady in the back is awful! DON’T TRUSTTHISDRY-CLEANER!!! FYI-they have two Unilocal accounts and this one shows 4 stars and the other is 2.5 stars. Different addresses, same business. Be careful!!! Pay the extra money and go to a place that has a great reputation.

For basic dry cleaning and pressing you can’t beat the price. I always roll up to this place with a bag of clothes, and the girls never complain. They offer a discount if you pre-pay…Items are typically $ 2.75, unless fancy blouses etc. The girls are always friendly. Cleaning is done on site. They will charge you extra for same day service. I have had plenty of clothes pressed/cleaned here, and so far so good. Considering it is downtown, you have to think it is a BONUS that they have a small but sufficient parking lot. If you head east on Broadway, you will run into it just as you cross 10th. Pizza joint right next door.

This is a great dry cleaners! They always do a great job and the staff is friendly. They even saved my brand new jeans from a stain I couldn’t get out at home after two washes! Highly recommend this place!

I have had uncountable things cleaned here over many years. I have always had the very best service and work. This is my favorite cleaners, with Margarets in La Jolla for special items.

I’m no longer going to this cleaners. The last batch of shirts I picked up from there had the left cuffs looking like they were in a clamp and then ripped out of the clamp while it was closed. The fabric was nearly ripped. Then another shirt had a weird dingyness to it like they needed to clean the presser. There were big brown spots on it like when you leave an iron on a shirt for too long. It *was* a very expensive custom shirt. Now I go to Relaxx cleaners. Quick, friendly, competent at a terrific price.
