I held out forever getting my computer fixed. It finally was so unbearable that I called had one of their guys to come out. It only took a day later for my computer to be returned and it was remarkably better for a very reasonable price. In retrospect, I should have done this a long time ago. SMH. Thanks guys.

Mike is a good guy with solid integrity. I’ve known him for six years now. He’s my resource for anything IT. The dude knows his stuff much beyond the monkey work, computer repair genre of things. Seriously, hit him up for internet marketing, web hosting advice, or even relationship advice. He just knows how to answer whatever questions you have!

While setting up my in-​home Mincraft server, I quickly found that I was in over my head, so I decided to give Mike a call. After explaining what I wanted to accomplish, he assured me he could get my system up and running within a few hours.
He showed up on time and was able to get the job done as promised. I will definitely call him in the future for help, and I recommend you do the same!

I struggled with my home wireless network for nearly two weeks after a power outage damaged the network and wouldn’t allow us to get e-​mail or internet access. Since my husband works from home, this was a real problem. I am «somewhat» computer literate and went so far as to purchase a new router, which I still couldn’t get set up as we had a complicated system with several pieces of equipment talking to each other (supposedly). After reading the positive reviews on Unilocal,I called Mike who was able to come out right away, figure out the problem and get us back to work, even simplifying the network setup. I would highly recommend him — knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very patient (even with the ATT techs!). If I ever need computer repair again, I will certainly call Network Antics!

Michael saved the day! His calm demeanor and expertise were worth every penny. I got a new printer and could not install it. After several hours of frustration, I called Michael who was able to walk me through the steps and also connected us to the manufacturer. He stayed on the line until everything worked correctly. I highly recommend Computer Antics for all your computer needs, both personal and professional. Ask for Michael, the superman of computers!

After two days of frustration dealing with another company and obviously, getting nowhere — I found Computer Antics.
The owner, Mike, returned my call promptly, suggested what to do to minimize the costs and set the price for replacing the hard drive and restoring all the data. A fair price.
He showed up at my house at the time that was convenient for me, picked up my laptop and offered to bring it back in a few hours. I asked him to come back next morning instead, to make sure that I had time to go over what has been done. The next morning, Mike showed up as promised, sat down with me and helped me to reestablish the Internet connection, set up the printer, download some helpful applications. Since I had a new hard drive, he also set me up with another (free!) protection program.
Did he charge me for all those additional services? No. He was pleasant, patient, and definitely, knowledgeable. In my book, work ethics and knowledge is a
valuable commodity.
Give this company a try and you will find yourself going back to it for all your computer needs. I know I will.

Mike totally saved me days of work! When my laptop got the «system check» virus while I was working remotely, I must have done something stupid to make the situation worse – I probably clicked on one of the wrong bogus links. I couldn’t even start up my computer. Our contracted IT support was 100 miles away (in LA), and they told me that I would either have to ship/​drive the computer to them or find someone local to take a look. I called Mike, and he got the laptop functioning again, saved all my data, and kept me informed of his progress. And, he even talked to our IT people to explain (in computer-​ese) exactly what he did. A total lifesaver. No doubt I will have other computer issues in the future, and I will certainly call Mike.

I called ComputerAntics a few weeks ago when my PC Laptop stopped retrieving data. I read the reviews on Unilocal and thought I’d give them a try. I’ve gotta say, Mike is an untamed circus animal. He’s disciplined for the show, people applaud his work but he’ll run off when as the show is done. The guy understands your needs, his prices are fair, and is really good at what he does but somehow I don’t think he’s found his true calling. Anyway, if you want an honest guy that has a lot to share with you beyond computers then go with ComputerAntics. Otherwise, contact Geek Squad for overpriced, under qualified and significantly less entertaining staff. My computer was working like new in no time! If my laptop craps the bed again, I will be giving Mike a call!

I met Mike through my girlfriend. I never really bothered to use him simply because I can handle most of my computer related crap on my own. However, I deleted the file the other day that I badly needed back. It wasn’t in the recycling bin nor was it in the seat cushions of my couch! :) I tried some file recovery software online but I ended placing malware on my machine. I messenged him on FB and he jumped on, downloaded his recovery software, and we recovered the file in no time flat. Thanks man!

My computer stopped smiling a week ago. It was doing some weird things that I didn’t think was spyware related so I had no clue on how to fix it. I loved the prior reviews for ComputerAntics and figured I give these guys shot. He offered to pick up for a small trip charge but I just opted to drop it off. As it turned out my hard drive was on its way out and he managed to back it up… Something I couldn’t do. Anyway, my hello kitty computer is no longer blue. Yay! Nice guy, great service, and reasonable prices. Can’t beat that.

Mike, the man behind the awesomeness known as ComputerAntics is a glorious man who hangs with the likes of Ghandi, Jesus, Daryl Hall and John Oates. His inception dates back from the year 1977… Elvis was devouring his final chicken wing and the president had some odd fetish with peanuts. Despite horrific odds, a strong leader and savy technical troubleshoot prevailed and now owns San Diego with his kickass mentality of don’t quit until the job is done or is wise enough to know when not to resuscitate a dead horse. He has supported my computer issues plenty of times and I’m always satisfied with his work. Go ComputerAntics!

Wow, Computer Antics just came over to my place and now my laptop is actually working better than when I first bought it. My laptop came with Windows Vista and is about three years old, so there are a lot of programs on it slowing it down.
The tech that came by really helped me out by telling me what programs I am safe to uninstall and which programs I need to keep. For example, I had three virus programs running at the same time (AVG, Norton, and McAfee). He uninstalled them and replaced them with a free light (and better) anti-​virus software. He also downloaded another anti-​spyware program (also free) that caught three spyware files that my other spyware software never picked up.
I had never had a tech come to my place because I always thought the service seemed expensive, but this tech was able to do so much in so little time that it was definitely worth the price. EXCELLENT VALUE! :)
Besides the services completed above, he set up an encryption on my wireless network. He also linked another laptop I had that I was never able to connect. That was the laptop with the camera and now I can finally Skype my family overseas.
Lastly, he demonstrated to me how to connect my computer to my TV so I can watch YouTube, Hulu, and other free programing. He even gave me the VGA cable for free.
All this was done in a little more than an hour. Definitely call Computer Antics if you have problems with your computer. These guys honest, personable, and get the work done quickly.

I’ve used Computer Antics twice now. First time was for performance issues on my PC laptop. After the visit my computer was back up and running in no time.
Second time I needed services was when I switched to a Macbook Pro. Antic was able to transfer the data from my PC hard drive, setup new SW packages, and customize my settings for me.
