First of all, you have to accept that this is sort of a tourist trap before you enter. A lot of the other reviews get stuck on that but you’re in Seaport Village so you had to have known, right? I’m a huge snackhead and this place can be fun to browse. They offer frozen yogurt and a rainbow assortment of taffy, neither of which I can review but are prominent in the shop. Also offered are your standard variety of chocolates, truffles, and chocolate covered items in the display case. Chocolate bark? They have it. Chocolate covered strawberries? Yup. Chocolate covered rice krispy treat? Thats here, too. The roasted nut’s looked and smelled promising as well. My review, however, is based strictly on their variety of candy. I love their sections for nostalgic candy and also for mexican candy. It can be a lot of fun grabbing a small assortment, not really knowing what you’re in for. Their nostalgic offerings are pretty in depth, having sections for chips in flavors I didn’t know existed and even a «sugar-free» wall. They also have a fridge filled with old-time cream sodas and root beers. Their mexican candy section is a lot of fun too. I’m a fan of the all the lollipops with chili powder on them, as well as the hard candies with a salty spicy center. The price wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but again, you’re in a tourist area! The young lady behind the counter seemed sweet; ready and willing to help if we had any questions. Would return if I found myself in the area.

POORQUALITY! Their Frozen yogurt has such a bad quality, please don’t give this to your children, it is just terrible! I had the fat-free/sugar-free raspberry yogurt and it was so sticky and their toppings are so cheap quality. I even highly doubt this frozen yogurt is sugar free as they claim. Oh and by the way, the people the people working there are NOT nice to clients

Visit #1 — Picked up frozen yogurt while walking around on Friday(6/10)…the yogurt was creamy and very good but the young women behind the counter seemed to resent the customers — they were unfriendly! It surprised us since service everywhere else in the seaport village the people were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Went back a couple of days later and they were cleaning the froyo equipment and — again — were unfriendly! They didn’t suggest anything else and basically ignored us. I wouldn’t return. How disapointing.

Creamiest frozen yogurt available in the downtown area. I don’t mind that they only have four flavors(banana, raspberry, vanilla and chocolate) because I am sort of(okay, definitely) in love with the texture. If you want really thick, creamy, smooth yogurt with an authentic yogurty flavor — not necessarily tangy, but just a little. um. curdled? in a good way! — then this is the place to go. Especially considering this is a candy shop; this stuff goes above and beyond. I am happy to go out of my way to get it, rather than opting for the much more convenient Pinkberry. As for the candy. The bulk selection is unimpressive, and pretty expensive. Somehow I always end up shocked when all is weighed and rung up. The chocolates in the display case are also expensive, but the variety is much better, and the quality is worth it. Although, when you think about how much it would cost to make a chocolate dipped strawberry at home, you feel a little ridiculous paying 1.50 each. They do have a great bunch of nostalgic, sugary goods — pop rocks! -… but you’d be better off getting them at CVS for .50(yep, they do still sell them!) then paying 1.75 here. Also: the girl working in there always looks absolutely miserable. I wish she’d smile! I don’t know how anyone could look so glum while working in a candy store. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not asking for the cheesy, generic perkiness of places like Starbucks or Pinkberry. I’m just askin’ for a teesy bit of friendless. Even a half smile would do. Please? :/

My fiancé and I found this place before we moved to San Diego. We were touristing(pardon the made-up vernacular) around Seaport Village when I saw a sign for banana fat free frozen yogurt. I got a cup with sprinkles, and it turned out to be the first of many. I haven’t had the other flavors, but their banana fro-yo is really something special. Now that we live here, my fiancé and I go here for a healthy treat whenever we get the chance. I highly recommend this place.

I was all excited about a frozen yogurt store, expecting to find tart froyo but no, they only had the traditional creamy sweet types. The candy by the pound is price, $ 10 a pound. But it is a tourist trap and the kids will still go crazy here with the taffy, caramel apples and candy.
