Jim is the best. He has a great sense of humor and he took my hair from looking like a wreck into the gorgeous mop it is now. He listens to clients and tells them straight up if a certain look will work (talked me out of pink hair cause yeah that was a terrible idea) great prices and just awesome.

My entire family has been going to Jim at The Company since we moved to San Diego 15 years ago. He listens to the client’s request, makes suggestions, and then gets down to work. I have been able to go back a day or so after the cut to request adjustments to the color or shape, for no charge. When my husband was undergoing chemotherapy, Jim shaved his head for free. He has a wicked sense of humor, but was gentle and considerate with my very shy son. I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

Jim is one-​of-​a-​kind. I’ve been seeing him for over 15 years, and my wife’s been getting her hair done there for over 10 years.
He is good. He is experienced. He will talk to you … and he will tell you like it is. He is not short of opinions. If you want to be coddled, don’t get your hair done here. But if you want quality hair-​styling and are tired of boring hairstylists … and if you aren’t overly-​sensitive … you’ll love Jim.
