Ashley and Jill helped make my dream wedding come true on 4÷16÷16! Words can not express how thankful I am that I was referred to Coastyle Events to help plan my wedding! I loved that there were many package options– We did the «Getting Started,» «Month Of,» and «Event Design & Styling» packages, which worked out perfectly! We were referred vendors that met our needs and were within our budget, and I was able to save the time of having to sort through hundreds of vendors in the San Diego area. Ashley also set up a planning tool on Aisle Planner that we were able to use for budgeting, checklists, vendor information, planning calendar, etc. About 6 months prior to the wedding, we met with Jill and she was able to take my ideas and Pinterest pins and made us a personalized design book that gave us an idea of what our wedding day would look like. I was blown away by how beautiful our wedding looked! She absolutely nailed the vision I had. Jill even handmade us a welcome sign that was exactly what I had envisioned! Ashley met with me 6 weeks prior to the wedding, and she developed a timeline for the day of, and took over all of the planning details. I had absolutely NO stress the final weeks before my wedding, which I did not think was possible. Ashley flawlessly coordinated our wedding ceremony and reception, allowing me to completely enjoy my day and not have to worry about a thing! My family and wedding party commented on how much they enjoyed Ashley, and how this was the best wedding they had participated in! I 100% recommended using Coastyle Events to plan and design your wedding, or any other event! Their personalities, creativity, and organization cannot be beat!

The update is — Coastyle continued to be out of this world. Ashley and Jillian had created a dream team of vendors and made sure our wedding day was perfect in every way. The décor was gorgeous and the day it self was so organized and well run that it allowed everyone to just enjoy the event. As a bride, I can honestly say I did not worry about a single thing. Ashley was on top of it all from start to finish and Jillian worked some serious magic in both the ceremony and reception spaces. The manager of our event space even mentioned that she’d never seen it look so beautiful and our guests were commenting on how professional and fantastic they were. Ashley was a calm and warm presence throughout the day. Bonus? We came in under budget thanks to Ashley’s careful guidance. Thank you, Coastyle Events. I would recommend you to any couple in a heartbeat.

I give CoastStyle Events the 5 star, «Whoohoo! As good as it gets!» rating, because that’s what they deserve. They are seriously amazing and they really do know and love weddings and put their max into every single one. As a wedding film maker, working a wedding they planned makes all of the difference in the world. It doesn’t just make the Bride, Groom and guests day more fun and stress free, but does the same for all of the other vendors. Ashley is an organization, multitasking, and problem solving master. On the day of the wedding, she has thought so far ahead of everyone else that the day progresses just as was planned. No scary surprises or hiccups. Their weddings are always beautiful, totally fun and run smooth as butter. Even better, their super warm personalities and huge smiles will always be a nice breath of fresh air. When we meet with a bride and groom to discuss their wedding film, we are always so pleased to see how at ease they are, and they clearly state that its because they know Ashley and Jill have everything under control. They don’t just help you plan, design, and organize your wedding, they are the glue that holds it all together! You are reading this review because you are trying to make sure you find the best wedding planner you can. Take it from someone who has seen them kill it time and time again– They are the best.

Coastyle Events did our 1.3.15 wedding. I can’t recommend them enough. I’m an organized type A person with pretty high standards and Ashley exceeded them. She was able to manage details, vendors, quirky family members, strange church people, timelines, changes in schedule. pretty much anything you can think of… Because of that, I did not stress at all on my wedding day. In fact, I was able to enjoy the entire day.
Jillian and Ashley took minimal input from us and created an EVENT. It was at the Dana Hotel on Mission Bay and the theme was rustic beach glam. They included elements that made it one of a kind! It was a beautiful day/​evening that exceeded my expectations. AND Ashley was awesome about planning it in a way that stayed within our agreed upon budget.
In retrospect, the two best decisions I have made in the last six months were marrying my husband and having Coastyle Events plan and design our wedding!

I cannot say enough good things about Coastyle Events. The way Jillian and Ashley run the business is very professional, but they also make you feel like you’re their best friend. Jill handled my wedding and a good portion of the design, while Lindsey (who has since left Coastyle to spread her wings) was my amazing coordinator.
I went with just the «month of» coordination after I had gotten the ball rolling on my own on all of my big decisions — venue, caterer, photographer. This was a good fit for me because I’m great at starting things, but terrible at finishing them, so the girls at Coastyle were LIFESAVERS! I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone who needs a couple extra helping hands in their wedding planning.
Hiring a coordinator was the best thing I did. I got a few extra brains, ears, eyes and hands on my project and they completely succeeded in making my vision a reality and minimized the number of headaches I had to deal with throughout the process.

Ashley and Jillian were incredible. They are very knowledgable and saved us a lot of time, money, and stress. They are very easy to work with and give you many options with regards to vendors. I highly recommend!

In just a short 8 months, Jillian took our random ideas and created the most amazing wedding for us. She was always cheerful (even when she was super pregnant and then a brand new mom), easy to get a hold of, always answered our questions, and in the end, we had a better wedding than we could have ever dreamed of. She was able to incorporate our love for each other, guns, sunflowers. Lord of the Rings, donuts, and America; wrap them all together tastefully and found us the perfect venue, San Diego Botanic Gardens. Plus, she helped me with wedding etiquette, guest lists, invitations, and rehearsal dinner.
On our wedding day (10−4−14), I was so serene because I knew Jillian was there. If there were hiccups on our day, I was unaware of them. It seemed flawless. I can not say enough good things about Jillian. She truly is superwoman. Thank you!

I had such an amazing experience working with Coastyle Events for my wedding that I don’t even know how to put my thank you and recommendation into words. I worked with Ashley and her team for my September 20^th wedding at the San Diego Botanic Garden. They helped me with month of coordination and décor. Everything was perfect. Ashley is extremely organized and took any pre-​wedding stress off of me. She was able to coordinate all of my vendors, put together the most detailed timeline for the day, answered any question I had, and made excellent recommendations as to how the ceremony and reception were to run. I can honestly say there was not a glitch in the day, and that is thanks to Coastyle Events. Furthermore, their eye for detail and décor is amazing. I was able to tell the ladies an image of how I wanted my reception to look, and provided them with only a few pictures to help, and they created the most lovely reception for me– from the flowers and centerpieces, to burlap table runners, to selecting the perfect chairs for my outdoor reception. The team at Coastyle Events is experienced, organized, professional, friendly, and simply lovely to work with. Thank you!

We hired Coaststyle Events for my daughters wedding on August 23, 2014 in San Diego, CA. We worked with Ashely and I just can’t say enough. She was professional, attentive, responsive and totally organized. She had the patience of a saint! She had a very detailed timeline for the wedding which helped the wedding party to stay on track. The day of the wedding, I felt completely at ease knowing she had everything under control. Thank you Ashley for making my daughters wedding day spectacular!

I worked with Ashley from Coastyle, and I don’t know what I would have done without her. She was so organized and had so many great tips. Her timeline of the wedding was so detailed and made me feel so great about the day of. She reminded us of every little detail to remember for the wedding, and she helped me find other vendors. About a month before my wedding, I had no one to do my hair and make up and she found me someone the same day I asked. Same thing happened with the DJ, she recommended IAC PRO EVENTS, and they were the best.
During the rehearsal, she touched on every detail with the bridal party, pastor etc. On the wedding day she kept everything running smoothly. She is friendly and nice, but she is stern when she needs to be (mostly with the groomsmen :)). Her organization on the wedding day left me wondering how we could have ever had the wedding without her.

Where do I event start??? Ashley started as my wedding planner and over the course of the past 7 months became a good friend. You know a wedding planner is awesome when she becomes good friends with the bride while planning the bride’s wedding. ;)
Ashley and her team did full wedding planning, décor, and design for us and they were simply amazing. My husband and I were married at the Martin Johnson House in La Jolla. A wedding venue that is beautiful but requires the couple to bring in everything from seating, food, DJ, photo booth, lighting, and in our case décor… lots and lots of décor. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and Ashley and her team are 100% responsible for that.
Ashley is professional, organized, punctual, quick to respond, creative, personable, and it is clear that she really truly loves her job. I was constantly in awe of the minute details she repeatedly remembered, when I was unsure about something that we had discussed months before. She handled all of our wedding planning needs from helping me make sense of my indecisive tendencies, keeping the peace between me and my very opinionated mother (not the easiest task), telling me that glow in the dark light sabers would be a great idea (she was SOO right!!), recommending the most wonderful and AFFORDABLE vendors (she saved us A LOT OF MONEY), and attending vendor meetings with us. Ashley’s partner, Jillian also helped us come up with our dream wedding décor and designed our incredible invitations. Ribbons everywhere, vintage glassware, farm tables, and flowers everywhere. I was in complete awe when I arrived at our wedding, and our guests are still talking about our unique and beautiful wedding.
My husband and I are Jewish and Israeli. We had a very traditional Jewish ceremony and a big party with lots of Israeli music. Prior to our wedding, Ashley had never coordinated a Jewish wedding, but you would have never known. Ashley researched Jewish wedding traditions and somehow knew more about our traditions than we did?! Awesome right?!

Sometimes the right person comes along at the right time for all the right reasons – such was the case with my husband… AND COASTYLE EVENTS! The day of planner we had planned to hire ended up moving away and into our lap fell Jillian, the best choice we made throughout the entire planning process.
Originally I had planned to do much of the floral, decorating, and other things «DIY». But, as it turned out, the throes of our wedding planning came when I started a new job and had to leave all the planning I had started in my fiancé and Jillian’s hands. We shared some ideas with Jillian and she enhanced them to make them a reality AND even better than we imagined. She also stepped up to be our florist extraordinaire, creating beautiful succulent and floral creations. When we walked into our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception last weekend, we were literally blown away with how breathtaking everything looked.
Throughout the entire process, Jillian was always calm, organized, budget conscious (at our request) and best of all, a true partner who honestly treated our wedding weekend as if it was her own. She went well above and beyond her Day of Coordinator responsibilities, and for that we are extremely grateful.
We’ve heard nothing but raves since our wedding last weekend and that can mean one of two things:
1. If there actually were any hiccups (which is doubtful given their organization), Jillian and Ashley did a TERRIFIC job to problem-​solve on the spot so that neither we nor the guests knew anything otherwise :)…
OR
2. Everything was actually as fun, beautiful and awesome as we hoped, thanks in huge part to Ashley and Jillian’s expertise, talent, and professionalism. They are a dream team!
