The tall African-American queen that works there is super rude. I might return someday to see if things have changed and to see if this person is still there. He doesn’t like Mexicans, apparently. A shame really since we no longer have The Vulcan and this place is the only one left for sexcapades.

I’ve been here 3 times as an alternative to a motel with My BF. The staff is friendly enough, and seem to be open to hearing your opinion on the faciltiy. The security guy does an indifferent job of checking bags coming into the facility, so he is probably a waste of money. One night a very loud drunk guy in an adjacent room might have not been an issue with tighter security. For the most part the facility is clean and fairly well kept, except for some scary dirty carpeting on the stairs. Standard Bathhouse amenities – hot tub, steam and dry sauna, video lounges and an underused bunk-room, which is way too open and brightly lit. I haven’t been in the steam-room so I don’t have any comment on it. The rooms range from TINY to a comfortable size if you opt for a deluxe TV room. We’re big boys, so the smaller rooms are extremely cramped. The rooms are clean, but could use some full-length mirrors on the walls and have way too few hooks for clothing and keys. Since I was there with my friend, I don’t have any interaction with other clients. I did notice on a recent Saturday, there were some attractive bearish types and a nice mix of men. The Sundays we have been there, the clientele seemed limited. Overall a good facility with a lot of potential. Minor note, one of the upstairs TV rooms did need a paint job. Now for the negatives: First of all, admission is on the pricey side. Maybe if it was a bit more reasonable, there would be more people in the facility. The biggest issue is the showers. On our last visit, the downstairs shower had NO hot water at all. Whoever installed the plumbing did a lousy job in the showers, making getting hot water in either shower room a guessing game. The small shower room upstairs has shower heads on the ceiling, which is fine, but the amount and flow rate of the water is pathetic. On our last visit, we were 2 rooms removed from the smoking area. There was a noticeable odor, plus some clueless guy was standing holding the door open as he had a chat with a patron inside, which allowed way too much smoky air to infiltrate that end of the hallway. This is the only game in town as far as bath-houses go since the Vulcan closed. Hopefully, the minor repairs needed will be done, and maybe the steep pricing will be re-visited.

6÷5÷2010 After reading some old reviews I thought i would visit the place and post my experience. They used to have a no backpack bag policy but it seems to be relaxed a bit. They do not allow you to bring in food or drink, The paint job is not bad on the décor, however the place is not kept up well or very clean. The 2 showers upstairs are out of order with vacuums in them, the toilets clog easily, air circulation is poor, the staff is not very helpful and gives the feeling they do not care. There is no WiFi or internet access for customers, however the management has one for themselves! Gets busy after midnight. Small club in general. I saw a few regular clicks that gathered for chats in open rooms. I think the management could make this a better place!

We visited for the first time on Sunday 11÷27÷09 at 8pm. There were about 7 guys in there not including ourselves. We walked around and checked all areas in detail. The good:. The club as is big with two levels, filled with many rooms, lockers, alcoves, small gathering areas, video viewing area, and a balcony overlooking most of the 1st floor. The steam room is impressive, clean, dimly light, and pretty nice. The hot tub is large and clean. The bad: No pool. NO wifi internet access at all. It seems the owner does not want to invest in any internet access for the patrons. This is unfortunate and might spell the end for this place in the next 3 to 5 years. Everyone that is looking these days is online. Some of the areas are pretty worn out and desperately need renovation. The room we got was very small and dirty and did not inspire us to stay inside of it. Other areas the doors look like some ghetto. No young guys at all. The next generation will need to gain interest in this place unless it will only cater to the older generations. Overall: The club is dimly lit and well furnished and has great potential. This place can be a serious hot spot for guys looking for a great time. The management needs to invest in renovating some areas and installing free wifi. Some form of promotions targeted to specific groups(college, sport, jock, leather, etc) will help increase patron traffic. If this place is still in business we will visit and rate it again.

I’ve been more than a few times and have not been disappointed. You can rent a locker or a room. They have rooms from a small with or without TV up to a large suite. Weekends can be very busy so you might have to wait for a room, but they set you up in a locker till your room is ready. Be sure to check out the steam room! They also have a hot tub, dry sauna and a movie room.
