Specialties

Customer service is critical to our clientele and to the ongoing success of our business. Whether referring housekeeping services for one-​time or move-​in/​move-​out cleanings, or for recurring cleanings (i.e. weekly; bi-​weekly; monthly), we make sure that the clients detailed cleaning requests are passed on to the professional housekeepers registered with us so that they may perform the housekeeping services to the customers complete satisfaction.

Upon request, the housekeepers can use «green» or conventional cleaning products.

We can also arrange other household services such as carpet cleaning, window washing, etc.

Consider giving a Cleanology Gift Certificates as a great way to say «Thank You» to friends and business clients.

History

Established in 2003.

Cleanology has been arranging residential household cleanings in San Diego County. We started primarily in the Downtown San Diego area and have experienced tremendous growth in the past 12 years. We have arranged cleanings for individual residences, as well as for Property Managers in their vacancies, and for Realtors in their listings.

In May of 2010, Paul Needelman, purchased the company and since then Cleanology has experienced a steady growth. We would like to thank all of you for supporting us and helping us make our ideas into reality.

I am Paul Needelman, the proud owner of Cleanology. We got our start back in December of 2003 when we realized how difficult it was to find a professional, dependable, and trustworthy housekeeping referral service here in San Diego. We love the fact that we are able to incorporate two personal passions into the company: being eco-​conscious & pet friendly since we LOVE pets & also care a lot about our precious environment.

Our vision is to make people’s lives less stressful by providing amazing customer service and state-​of-​the-​art GREEN housekeeping referrals to our clients.

Last week I had Cleanology come out and clean a very dirty small house, left that way by tenants. The gals did a great job and listened to what I needed done within the time frame I needed. The office staff is very friendly as well as the cleaning crew. I would definitely use them again when needed and happy to recommend them too. Thanks Cleanology!

Paul, the owner contacted me after I posted my first Unilocal review. He gave me a $ 60 credit on my next cleaning, which was back up to the usual level of previous cleanings. I appreciate the quick and professional response to resolve the issue, and look forward to great service in the future.

The reservation process was easy and efficient
The two ladies were polite and very thorough
They left our house sparkling clean and we are most appreciative and delighted.

Ladies left place sparkling and I’d use them again. I was very happy with the cleaning job. I’d give the cleaning job a five out of five. I also appreciate that they were able to come out on short notice.
However, the office staff are very confused. I’d talked to Israel after the service to let him know the ladies did a great job, gave him the amount of the tip, and he said he’d run my card and send a receipt. Today, Adrian called and asked about the service and wanted to run the card. When I spoke to Israel he said he’d lost the paperwork from our conversation and started to charge the incorrect amount. I finally received a receipt for the work. However, it had my name spelled two different ways. One that was correct and one that was incorrect. Very sloppy.
Also, there’s no work comp, no liability insurance, and employees are «independent contractors.»
I updated review after conversation with the Owner Paul who was very friendly and apologetic. Paul and I had a nice conversation and he wanted to know what was wrong and how he could improve.

In the world of a triple Virgo, like mine, cleanliness is godliness. Cleanology teams always leave our home immaculate. Today Team 4, Marianna and Josephina, did a perfect job at our house. Every inch of our home sparkles. I will definitely be requesting them for future visits

Very happy with this company and the customer service is outstanding. They gave me a reasonable price compare to other companies. I had an amazing experience with Cleanology. I called around to a few places and was honestly shocked at how much some of these companies were charging for housekeeping services. Cleanology was reasonably priced so I called and got a quote. Israel, my point of contact, made it very easy for me to book an appointment. When the young ladies got to my house I told them what I needed done and they worked with me to get my house spick and span. I was worried that they wouldn’t want to help with laundry but they jumped right in and helped through, what felt like, mountains of clothing. My kitchen and bathrooms are sparkling. They replaced the linens in the bedrooms and straightened up the family room in addition to vacuuming and dusting. I am so happy I found this company!!!

I needed my house cleaned for a baby shower and called several places for a quote. I’ve never had my house professionally cleaned and was shocked at how much certain businesses wanted to charge. Of all the places I contacted, cleanology was the most responsive and very reasonably priced. I loved that they gave me the option of paying for a certain number of hours, rather than paying a set fee to get the whole house done. I told the team which rooms to prioritize first in case they ran out of time, but they were able to cover everything! The ladies who did the work were friendly and professional, and worked super quickly. My house has never been so clean. I will definitely be calling them again and would recommend them to anyone. For reference, I had team number 7 :) five star experience!

My wife and I have lived in an apartment for 13 months. It’s been 13 months since the last deep cleaning. We have a small place (650 square feet) but was curious to see how wellCleanology performed in 2 hours.
Did an online estimate first and the same day I got a call from someone explaining how it works. Great response.
Waited a few weeks and called and scheduled the cleaning. Israel, my main point of contact, said the cleaners would come between 2−4PM and he would give me a 30 minute notice when they were on the way. He was spot on.
Two cleaners arrived, team 4 I believe? I gave them a quick rundown and tour of the place before they set to work. They dusted everything and returned things back to their original spots. Cleaned the bathroom exquisitely, amazing job on the tub. Kitchen was also amazing. They cleaned on TOP of the fridge, despite there being heaps of junk stacked on there. They took the time to take everything down, thoroughly clean, and return it all. I asked them to clean the fridge and they cleaned the freezer as well! Spotless, both of them. I was flabbergasted how well it was done.
What they did in 2 hours would take me 5+. Saved me the frustration and my day. Completely worth the price and the tip. Definitely thinking I’ll schedule them again after 3 – 6 months.

I had a great experience with cleanology! Team 6 was so great! They cleaned every detail in my house! Grit I didn’t think would come out, did! We have a cat and a dog so there was fur everywhere and my husband and I have been working so much lately the house was a pig sty but they got it shining !! They even cleaned the dirty couch. Now I’m just sitting at home not wanting to touch anything incase I ruin how great it looks! Such a relief to have the house cleaned when I’ve been so busy. The stove is back to its new shiny stove look! I thought it was ruined with burnt grit in it but it looks brand new now! I’m so happy with cleanology and especially the nice ladies Mariana and Maria from team 6 who cleaned it!

Even after 5 years, I couldn’t be happier with Cleanology and my review from 2010 still holds up. I must admit, I did cheap on cleanology with other janitorial services. The last cleaning service was so poor, I had to switch back to cleanology. The first day after the new cleaning, i notices the difference. The eye for detail is what sets these guys apart from the pack. Thanks cleanology and welcome back to my house.

First time visit from Cleanology today. Very experienced team came in and put my home back into order. This experience has been positive since I made my initial call and spoke with Sylvia, the assistant office manager. She took the time to listen to my needs and expectations, asked me appropriate questions, and then recommended a seasoned team with special experience to address my requirements. Interviewing different companies is a must; articulating your needs and expectations in detail is key. Either a team can perform or they can’t. Cleanology’s customer service and professionalism are fantastic; as a result, I’ve asked the team that Sylvia sent to me to be my regular team bi-​weekly.

This review is mainly for the customer service I have received by Mr. Paul, the owner of Cleanology.
I hired Cleanology this past Saturday and unfortunately had some issues with the cleaning service. I contacted them via email shortly after that evening (as this was after hours and their office was closed) to express my concerns and not even 15 minutes later, I received a phone call from the owner, Mr. Paul. I appreciated how he took the time, outside business hours, to personally contact me to discuss my concerns. He arranged a second cleaning for me on Monday. He again followed up with me on Tuesday about the service. Mr. Paul was very understanding of the situation and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. He truly values the happiness/​satisfaction of his clients and he ensures expectations are fully met. I appreciated his courtesy and professionalism.

This company is great! You gotta give credit where credit is due!
Before hiring them I did not see too many favorable reviews, but I chose to give it a try for the ones I read and believed.
They always send great teams but some of them are just amazing and clean my house leaving it impeccable and much better then I could do by myself! :-)
They have never broken anything in my house or left anything out of place. Props for that!
Their manager always communicate with the house owner. Great way to deal with their customers.
