History

Established in 2009.

We opened March 2’cnd 2009. on the corner of 16th and Market where our original St. Vincent De Paul Thrift store used to recide and now is across the street from us and still doing well, and we are the new upcoming non profit retail store that wants to bring affordable, awesome merchandise to the public and will continue to do so untill we can, all proceeds we make go into helping the less fortunate, homeless and teen’s from our touissant academy.

Im not technically the manager but I am the one who’s utilizing all of our social networking sites to reach out to the public… Ive been with City Digz since and before weve opened back on March 2nd. I love my store and my job and I think everything Father Joes Villages does to help out the less fortunate is completely amazing. any thing I can do to push this store and help run it like it should I will do till I can.

I can’t walk into this place with leaving with a car load! Best finds include: vintage display racks, apothecary display case, create n barrel dresser, vintage plates, vintage ties, etc. This place is a gold mine. Dude at the counter is my boy, he’s super friendly and helpful every time!

If your looking for vintage pieces you might not find it here but you will find lots 80’s and up clothing for dirt cheap. Some furs but usually they put those in the windows for display first and completely destroy them (direct sun and heat are bad for natural fur). They have large mens section that most places don’t have. They even have furniture. I would go back!

Very ghetto, very dirty and disorganized place. The people of their does not even help you with anything. Their stuff looks very dirty. The furniture section is disgusting. I wouldn’t waste my time going there again.

One of the beat thrift stores I have ever been! I cannot believe I just found it coincidentally, walking around the area. My eyes could not believe, either, that they first thing they encounter is a fantastic Le Creusset yellow casserole. For not even $ 8!!! And brand new!!! This is awesome. I was just so happy with my finding that I could not even believe what was next! A super cool brand new silk blouse by Anne Klein, with tags and all for $ 2.50…to my surprise that item was on 50% sale! Left the store totally ecstatic with 2 great items for less than $ 10.
The store is located in a modern building at the Fathers Joe Villages and I thought was a boutique or a vintage store. Is really neat, clean, high ceilings and tons of well organized items, including vintage glasses with those cool frames from the 70s. Definitively a must visit store if you are into this type of shopping.

I donno if I visited at the wrong time (yesterday) but they had like nothing to above and beyond looked like most typical thrift stores. I went there for vinyl, idk if it was hidden or if I had to ask for it but there was none to be had which was a bummer. Prices on somethings were like ridiculous they were close to new item pricing I was shocked. I did buy a bracelet tho and the staff seemed ok, however im sorry but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here again

Loved this little thrift store! Prices were so low, and they have a 50% off color tag of the week to make some of the deals even sweeter. A good mix of clothes and other merchandise. Really well-​organized and clean. I found a cute purse and a shirt for $ 4 each — and because they’re a non-​profit, they don’t charge sales tax! There’s even dressing rooms. Only bummer — they didn’t have a public restroom when I really needed one.

The place is clean, wish it had a little bit more inventory but with so many other thrift stores to be visited it’s fine :) and the workers here are nice! It is a bit pricier than other thrift stores but when they have such cute clothes, I don’t mind.

This place probably would have been great when it first opened, but it’s not that bad now. My friends and I went here because we decided to go thrift store shopping. It was a little cute place to explore. I only bought one top because there wasn’t much to select from. But my friends didn’t have a hard time finding anything, and I also didn’t have a hard time picking out stuff for them either.
I wouldn’t mind coming back here. The worker here is real nice. maybe next time I’ll find something else.

Discovery: If I want military camouflage jackets, this is a place to go (
). Good to know; I think I will need a military camouflage jacket in the future. Who doesn’t need clothes for the bedroom.
Street parking is pretty easy. I parked across the street and walked probably ¼ block. The items are pretty well organized. I didn’t love the houseware items. The clothes were decent. I didn’t see anything I’d consider a bargain or a vintage find (menswear-​wise), but I would say they were very wearable. I think for women, there were better options.
Sadly, not much in the leather department in terms of great boots, jackets, ties, etc. So my search continues…

My favorite thrift shop! I luv the location and the spacious interiors. It has a urban chicness to it without the price tag!
One thing I hated about going to to some thrift stores is that some places tend to jack up the price. Everything at City Digz is reasonably price. The staff was super helpful and there seems to have new things coming in all the time. There is a good mixtures of things in the store. I usually can walk away with at least one or two good finds which typically runs anywhere from $ 1 to $ 10. Yes, I said a dollar!!!
Sunday is probably the best day to come by since the street parkings are free. But during the biz hours, you can usually find parking within a block.
And it helps that the staff are super chill and helpful too~
