Christian Arthur Designs

I have purchased a lot of patio furniture from Christian Arthur Designs. I love the quality of the furniture itself, but the seat webbing just «died» after 3 ½ years.
I have always covered the seats and protected the underside (where the stretchy webbing is) from the sun. I began to notice the intense sagging of the cushions last year, but thought maybe it was my imagination. When i examined the webbing, it looked like it wasn’t even elastic, but a piece of fabric. No support left!
I felt that after spending over $ 1500 on this furniture, it should have lasted a bit longer than 3 ½ years.
When I called Christian Arthur Designs, I spoke to Christy. She basically said it was normal wear and had no clue as how to help me nor did not offer any suggestions on how to repair the webbing… I was on my own…
Very sad and disappointed… I shopped locally for the support and it looks like if you can get it from a big box store and have some warranty behind it, thats the better route…

I’m in the market for some large metal pots/​urns for outside of my front door, been looking on line and found a few options but today while driving around little Italy I noticed a sign that stated simply, «Pots, Plants and patio» on what used to be the VW dealership on Kettner. I had a few spare minutes so I buzz in and took a look around. It seems as though they just openend up shop but there were some interesting finds. Hopefully they will get a better selection in the near future.
1. interesting and unique designs
2. Price’s are moderate (found simular things on line for 25% less but when you figure in shipping it’s was comparable)
3. lots of parking (hello, it was a car dealership!)
4. Limited selection
This could be a great addition to Little Italy /​Downtown scene, I hope they do well. Next time I’m in the area I will stop in for another look around.
