Worse experience ever. Ordered lunch online, picked it up and when I got to work. The chicken bowl had dark green guacamole(we all know what that means) the lettuce looked like it need to be thrown out yesterday. To top it off they got my order wrong. I just threw it away. It wasn’t worth taking back.

I appreciate chipotle is trying to rid GMOs and processed foods so would like to give 5-stars. Some workers are better and more friendly than others. There hasn’t been a line the 5x I have been to this location on weekday evening which is nice. You can’t get a veggie burrito with tofu and guac(event if ½ portions) without a charge, even without cheese, which I think is a rip off for vegetarians.

Food was great but the girl with the pony tale that served our steak bowl Had the worst customer service facial expression, rolling her eyes and we actually felt like we were bothering her as we requested our toppings. I think she needs an attitude adjustment. The young white girl with the braided hair had a great attitude when we paid for our food. Because of this, we will not be back to this location

Joey’s the best! Friendly, fast, efficient, rolled with all my customizations. He took care of me. He’s basically a great dude and deserves a medal for being super rad.

They gave me about half the meat that I normally could get at another chipotle location. Maybe the girl serving me was trying to stretch out the supply of the meat. But when I asked for more, she said it’s an extra charge. And then when I asked for lettuce, I literally only got about 5 pieces of cut lettuce. I asked the cashier instead to give me more lettuce, and he did and loosely packed my burrito bowl. The lid almost came off while I was holding it, and my bowl almost fell from my hands. It seems like they were rushing but it was neither during closing nor were there many people in line(about 3 people). I’m never going to this chipotle again. I’m not going to pay full price for something that is just rice, beans, and cheese.

You know there’s one Burrito Bowl I have not yet tried and that’s the Steak one, so $ 7.40, plus another $ 1.95 for guacamole, I was in. Oh yes, I received a free bag of tortilla chips via a coupon they sent me. I have to say, they do generously load the bowls up with everything. The bowl game with plenty of chopped steak. The steak was good, a little on the salty side, but was tender enough for such a meal. They loaded the guacamole which was pretty good. It tasted good and was a favorite of mine to eat with the crispy tortilla chips. The picadillo was good and so was the fire roasted corn which I ate for the first time, and must remember to get again. I had the black beans with my bowl which were well prepared and tender. The bowl was good, but I just wish the meat was not as salty. Speaking of salty, the red salsa, or their hot one, was very salty. I could only eat it a few times because the salt level was uncanny. I do not know what happen, but instead of red hot sauce, I thought I was eating just plain salt. I changed to the green salsa which was much better. The tortilla chips were okay. Some were crispy and some were a little stale. Service was friendly enough and the place was pretty clean, easy on the salt please!

The service was the worst I’ve experienced at any Chipotle. Or at any kind of restaurant. The skinny girl with tattoos was absolutely rude and disrespectful. She looked too scummy to be working at a restaurant to begin with. She was the worst. The other girls were pretty bad too. The place was dirty, no Tabasco out for our use and the chicken was badly cooked. Horrible experience. They need a whole new staff to make this chipotle up to any kind of standard.

Not awesome. My office is pretty close so we frequent this location because of its convenient location. The people who work there are never very friendly and always seem to be rushing even when there’s no one else waiting in line. About a month ago I was in line and saw a little boy ordering a quesadilla. He was getting chicken and other toppings placed in it. I was right behind him and when it was my turn to order I said I’d be taking a quesadilla too. I stood there waiting for them to start my order and a couple minutes later they were bagging something up and giving me my total… Confused, I said I hadn’t told them what I wanted on it yet and they said«you ordered a quesadilla right?» I said yes and they said you only get stuff on it if you request stuff on it. I was so surprised that at no point was I offered the option of adding things to it, and they just assumed I wanted it plain. And to top it off when I told her I wanted meat and salsa on it she very rudely responded with«well do you want me to re make it??» I said no and took my plain quesadilla to go. And today I decided to write a review due to the tacos that were made for me. They barely put any meat on them, when I asked for«a teeny bit of hot salsa» I got almost a whole ladle on each taco, and then they swiped my card before I was asked if I wanted anything else– didn’t get even half a second to ask for guacamole. And when I told them I wanted guacamole but my card had already been swiped they didn’t even flinch. Just went back to talking to each other and acting busy even though NOONE was behind me. Not a fan of this place and I wouldn’t be a repeat customer if they weren’t so close.

Food is great. Really sloppy service. The person making my burrito grabbed a ripped tortilla and then proceeded to fill it as fast as humanly possible, so he get back to standing around. I had to get a bowl to eat my burrito.

I’ve been to this Chipotle four times in the last year. Here are some things I noticed: 1) Bathroom out of hand soap. An employee had used it right before me. When I mentioned that the bathroom was out of soap, no one really flinched. 2) I’ve seen them move the tongs out of the way to grab lettuce with(gloved) hands. weird, and a bummer for wheat-sensitive folks. 3) The tiniest servings of meat and guac at any Chipotle ever. 4) It’s still a Chipotle, and thus the best meal deal in La Jolla.

If you are a fan of Chipotle, you MUST stop by this location. The staff are friendly, warm, kind and they do an AMAZING job making your food and experience TOPNOTCH! I am definitely surprised how kind the people who work behind the counter are to the customers – whenever my husband and I come in or when I come in with friends or colleagues from work, I always get the same great service – so much so, I keep coming back. There are SOOOOO many places to dine in the Village of La Jolla but the customer service at this Chipotle location(on Torrey Pines Road) is simply the best which speaks volumes for their management. I wish the employees at this location worked at other Chipotle restaurants or other food/service establishments in La Jolla. Or better yet, I wish this Chipotle served breakfast. This place is on point. By the way, you can call in your order or use an iPhone app to get your meals fast if you’re in a hurry. I love their take out feature! :)

I’m a regular here. I Luv the rice and chicken burrito/bowl. Carnitas are also good! Staff is always very welcoming and nice. BUSY, BUSY during lunch hrs but staff manages to keep it up. However, I usually order for multiple people and it gets frustrating cause theres’ s usually a person per station, sometimes two, and they all ask and talk to u at the same time while you’re trying to order. I know they do it to keep the line moving but C H I L L… Place always clean but the music I dont get? It’s suppossed to be a Mexican restaurant and they always play reggae. Anyways, good place for a quick lunch.

Came in on a Wednesday night around 830 pm back in June. Got a burrito with chicken, white rice cause they were out of brown(who I was kindly informed of by the gentleman in line in front of me) corn, salsa, etc. The manager at the time, Brian I believe, was kind enough to comp my burrito for the inconvenience of being out of the brown rice. Very nice gesture. Enjoyed my meal outside with my similarly brown rice deprived friend in line in front me. The burrito was good as it usually always it from chipotle, but the company was excellent. Two months later and we are still seeing each other. :). thanks for the hookup chipotle :)

As busy and hectic this place can get during lunch hour, they manage to keep their poise and fluid movements. — This particular Chipotle has exceptional crew members. I’ve first handily seen them resolve several problems customers had with their orders. SHOUTOUT: Joseph, one of the employees, always wears a smile on his face. He projects an amiable attitude, which ultimately makes the overall Chipotle experience sufficiently good! — Food always appears fresh and pleasing to the eye! Their food is usually fully stocked because someone typically is making the food fresh in the back. Food is delicious and it’s always nice to know that everything is prepared on the spot. Chips may at times be too salty, but nonetheless, addicting! — The place is set up with many seating inside and they even have an outside patio to enjoy the outside sun. Like I always say, outside seating in San Diego is always a bonus! — Unsweetened Tea is available to make Arnold Palmer with their lemonade. Margaritas and local craft beers are available to enjoy as well! — The enscriptions on their paper bags are usually entertaining and a joy to read.

Blah, this Chipotle is so-so. They’re pretty cheap with their servings of meat and they aren’t really too quick about getting customers in and out. I can see why it has such a low rating.

I like chipotle because of the consistency great quality and fresh ingredients. Every time i go to chip tile anywhere, my expectations are filled. I always have left overs so it a 2 meal for one. I usually get the bowl but since their secret menu has been out there so much to try! Check that out! Plus they give u a cup for water without havering to ask. I just wish they didn’t charge extra for guacamole.

Stopped at this new location yesterday to redeem a BOGO free coupon. I was there at 7PM and had no issues finding a parking spot. The lot is small with only a handful of spaces, but there are also spots in the alley behind it which is probably shared with Starbucks. Ordering was standard, typical of any other Chipotle I’ve been to. The portion sizes were standard and similar to other Chipotle restaurants; I actually felt like they gave me more in my chicken bowl. I also ordered a chicken burrito as well and the girl wrapping my burrito noticed a tear in it and quickly asked one of the other workers for a new tortilla. She then asked me if I wanted to have it double wrapped or re-wrapped. Very proactive of her to notice my torn tortilla; I definitely wouldn’t have noticed! Unlike other reviews, I was able to quickly make it through the line without any problems. I received great service!
