I love chipotle, but what really sticks out to me about this specific chipotle is the staff. They always seem so happy and eager to make my experience a good one ! Big ups to the management for hiring and training the right staff !

What can I say, I love chipotle. Hey that rhymes. Anyway, everybody knows what to expect out of this place so I won’t talk much about the food. The nice part about this location is that it’s almost always empty. I have never seen a line that is more than just a couple people. The employees are good at what they do and get my burrito in my mouth as fast as possible. I appreciate it always. The only reason that I will give this particular location a four star is because of the fact there is zero parking available if there is more than five people in the whole place! This parking is worse then QUALCOMM Stadium. And for anybody living in SD, you know how bad that can be. If you can find parking, Then life’s good and enjoy your food.

The food is great of course, I’ve never been dissatisfied with this location for that. I’m much more dissapointed by the people who work here. Consistently I’ve come in, been the first in line, but the employees are standing around chatting, laughing, doing nothing literally while I’m standing there, and I’m tall, a it’s not like they can’t see me. This has happened 3 separate times now. Just seems like a lazy attitude.

Everyone here knows me. It’s a sad thing to admit but come on, Chipotle burritos are just easily the best American Style Burrito in PB. I say that very liberally, American Style Burrito because it’s not a legitimate Mexican experiences. I’m not here to review the Mexican Style Burritos but, the ones I get here, on Garnet Ave. Parking: Limited but, there is a private spot for Chipotle Customers. It’s normally full between 6:30 — 8 or so on weekdays and you never know on weekends. Atmosphere: Typical Chipotle with their industrial /cheapish style. I dig it. The place is ALWAYS clean. Lines: The place is always buzzing and busy so expect lines. I avoid Chipotle from 5 – 8:30 on weekdays(actually all week days now) because of the lines and they can be out the door. Food: This is why you’re reading this review, right? Everything is always fresh and turned and maintained with Chipotle standards. I’ve never found a hair in my food(not that I was looking) or had food poisoning /bad ingredients. Quantity: This is always hit or miss depending on who is serving what, when, and the time. Obviously, we all know the tricks to getting extra stuff on our burrito but, a good base basic burrito will easily fill you. Service: Like I said, people here know me. It’s a good thing to know your customers because though not a significant amount of business is repeat customers, a large amount of customers do come from the references of the repeat buyer. I always recommend Chipotle for that reason. I am always greated with a «Hello» or «Welcome to Chipotle» normally accompanied by someone cheesin’(Smiling) behind the counter. Special shout out to Wendy who always makes a killer burrito and has an extremely positive attitude on the other side of the glass. Overall: Listen, I’m an addict to Chipotle so I am obviously going to give high praise but, that praise is earned. I am a very harsh critic but, it’s all good. If you don’t want the typical California Carne Asada Burrito, then come here. I dig it. And I actually choose it over those other burritos.

This chipotle is usually fantastic and the service is great! But the last couple of times there was so much fat on the steak I had to reduce it by almost half :(

I am one of those people who eats dinner at 430(no I am not 107) so when I come to chipotle I love that there is never a wait and my food is still fresh and delicious. I have never found a hair or bug in my food and everyone is always cheerful and helpful. I LOVE the shredded beef however I normally get the Spicy tofu. When you are looking for a nice, healthier fast food option THISISTHEPLACETOGO.

Food is of good quality most of the time. The meats are consistently seasoned so you know what you are going to taste every visit. The ambiance is relaxing, the standard industrial type of feel that pretty much all chipotle’s have. The service was good, the prep line was attentive and answered all questions with ease. This is one of my go-tos for those evening were I just want a quick bite with minimal effort.

First of all Chipotle is top 3 greastest things on this planet. This specific location has an excellent vibe to it! I have always had impeccable service exhibited to me at this chipotle. And they are solid at burrito wrapping!

I had the most delicious Chipotle bowl I’ve ever had! The server, I think her name was«Kat» provided excellent service! Prepared my steak bowl like a professional chef! Perfect amount of; rice, steak, beans, & sauce! I’ve been to Chipotle 50 plus times in my life, & without question the best bowl I’ve ever had!!!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Love the salads and bowls — the burritos here are way too big for me. Two choices of rice and beans. Great vegetarian choices as well. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Chipotle in general is extremely delicious, however I have never been to a chipotle where the employees are so great. I walked in and was greeted by a kind boisterous group. I felt like I just walked into my grandmas house. This place rocks. They even sing for you if you ask the right girl(Jacque) two thumbs up, and of course the food rocks too!

The food is good here… But the employees are WAY too loud. They are borderline obnoxious as they socialize with each other. Every time I have been there, I can barely hear myself think. The customers are all talking quietly but the employees are partying/yelling/laughing amongst themselves. This place is LOUD because the employees are LOUD… They need to all take chill pills and stop drinking 5 cups of coffee before work. They need to think about the ambience and the customer’s experience instead of being so concerned with partying with each other at work…

I used to work on Garnet Ave, and tried chipotle for lunch since it was walking distance for lunch break. Got a Chicken burrito with guacamole and there was a long hair stuck in my guacamole. I go to pull it out, and it snaps into two. Disgusting. Ended up throwing the burrito away. I said to myself, NEVERAGAIN . Fast forward 6 months later, I’m running out of options for lunch, I decide«hey I haven’t been to chipotle in awhile, Im sure the first time hair was just a one time thing. «So I ordered a chicken salad bowl and with guacamole, after the first couple bites, found ANOTHER long black hair in my guacamole ! Are you effing kidding me ?! UNACCEPTABLE ! Workers need to wear head nets . Never again, literally !

Visited this chipotle today and I’ve always had perfect service every time I have come in, the cashier«shay» stated when I asked for the buy one get one free coupon«but you didn’t even leave me a tip» which in my opinion is really rude. I can’t say that this place is terrible when everyone else is doing a great job but when someone puts me on the spot to give them money I can’t help but feel uncomfortable when you’re pressuring me to leave you money. Won’t be coming back because of that.

I have to downgrade my review as the last 2 visits have been subpar. Stale tortillas, abnormally small burritos and sides of guacamole that are only 2⁄3 filled. The staff used to be friendly but now seems aloof even during slow periods. I haven’t written off Chipotle in general but this location is backsliding.

Chipotles are all the same to me. Fast food, yummy food, fresh food. I don’t expect 5 star service, employees aren’t waiting on my table, you’re in and out. I personally have never had an unfriendly workers take my order or make my food. I’ve heard from some friends that this location has unfriendly staff and service. You’re not in chipotle to make friends with staff or have a nice long convo, you tell them what you want and get out. You’re not the only customer, they are serving people ALLDAYLONG. If they shorted you on some rice, meat, or veggies just ask for a little more. My only problem with this location is the damn parking lot. I’ve learned to avoid the rush hours.

Chipotle has been a long standing favorite of mine. Consistency is key and Chipotle has it figured out. Large and filling meals with relatively good ingredients(for the fast food scene). I love the location!

Stopped in last night to grab a quick dinner without dealing with the drunk crowd in PB. Serious talk, though: there was a huuuge line outside Typhoon at 8PM(on a TUESDAY). Such a bummer that kids these days can’t even pick good places to drink. This is our future generation? Yikes. Hi, I’m Lisa, Queen of Going on Tangents, quesadilla lover, and crappy beer hater. Nice to meet you. Back to Chipotle. Upon walking up to the counter where the lady asked me what I wanted with 0 enthusiasm, I saw a sign glowing right before my eyes. The sign said thr sofritas is(are??? #grammar) made with ORGANIC tofu! Be gone, GMOs! My non-meat eating friends, rejoice! I told the zero-percent-stoked Chipotle worker that I wanted a Sofritas burrito bowl. (Still no expression) «White or brown rice?» «No rice or beans for me, thanks! May I have veggies, though?» (No emotion whatsoever) *uses tongs to add veggies then moves in front of the salsa and stares at me* Oh, crap lady, slow down. «Um, mild and this one *points to a different one, which turned out to be hot… very…hot*» Not even sure if Ms. I-only-make-one-faci-expression asked me about the add-ons, but I added guacamole and lettuce. It took a minute for them to bring a new batch of guac from the back. She put two tiny scoops on my plate(#ripoff) and asked, «…and you wanted… lettuce?» …wow, yes. The cashier was super nice. My burrito bowl came to just under $ 10. I feel like Chipotle prices went up… All other experiences here have been great. Friendly workers and quick service.
