Children’s Ethnobotany Garden

I am pretty sure you have passed million times by the World Beat Center and saw this cute little semi-​urban garden and wondering if a bunch of hippies or maybe homeless live there (at least that it what I thought). Today I finally stopped, if not to smell the roses, to do the same with the wild flowers popping here and there at this small garden. Looks like it is a garden for educational purposes and I got inspired by the simple beauty, my eyes going back and forth between the butterflies flying low and the airplanes flying high. I was the only one there this morning, so I assume children from different schools go there as field trip with their classmates and teachers to discover a little bit of hidden nature and see how veggies grow!
This garden is of free entrance and you will be welcomed by some clay bells that make a nice sound with the wind. They are hanging from a tree. You will see several plots were vegetables are happily growing and my favorite part is that big meditation circle to sit and contemplate and wish peace to the world. Grab your thermos and have a herbal tea there while reading a book and be far yet close to everybody.
