Specialties
At the very core of Chick-fil-A is a fundamental commitment to service — service to our customers, our restaurant operators and their team members, and to our communities. We recognize that while we may be in the restaurant business, we’re really in the people business. As part of our mission to have a positive influence in the communities we serve, our franchised restaurant operators focus on serving kindness and respect inside the restaurant, and being a great neighbor around the community. From partnering with local schools, to hosting themed family events like Daddy-Daughter Date Night, to fundraisers for needs in the community, we aim to bring people together over delicious food and genuine hospitality. If you’re interested in learning more about our community outreach and events, please reach out to your local Chick-fll-A® Restaurant.
History
Established in 1946.
Chick-fil-A, Inc. is a family-owned business known for its customer service, clever cow advertising and delicious food. Founded in the early 1960s by the late S. Truett Cathy, the company has grown from humble beginnings. Credited with inventing the boneless chicken breast sandwich, Cathy first served his now famous Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich inside his original 1946 diner, the Dwarf Grill. Today, the family business has expanded to partner with other families, who throughout communities in 43 states and Washington, D.C. own and operate 2,000 Chick-fil-A® restaurants. While the Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich remains a menu staple, Chick-fil-A® also serves a variety of menu items that include Chick-fil-A Waffle Potato Fries®, salads, wraps and hand-spun milkshakes and Icedream®.

Brent and Ashley B.
Business Owner
The operator at Chick-fil-A Mira Mesa is from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He began his career as a Chick-fil-A team member, at 17 years old. He worked his way up to management and eventually the corporate office, helping to open new Chick-fil-A locations.
While opening new restaurants, he met his wife. She worked at Chick-fil-A through college and eventually moved to California, as a marketing intern for the company. They now work together at the Mira Mesa restaurant.
They would love to personally thank you for dining with them, so make sure to ask for Brent or Ashley during your next visit. If they happen to be off-site, you can always reach them directly at cfamiramesa@gmail.com
