Casually Candid

Angela’s photographs = WOW! She excels at both art and service. I thought I didn’t want professional newborn photos… until a friend shared her newborn session with Angela. The creative, candid pictures featured color-​drenched intensity and soft, dreamy B&W.
My son was already 5 weeks old and losing his newborn look, so I reached out in desperation. Angela responded within hours, answered all of my questions, gathered my requirements, and fit my little guy in the very next day. Despite having less than 24 hours to prep, she had everything ready for 100% of my ambitious goals for the session.
Angela was a natural with our baby and coaxed dozens of adorable poses from him. Our family’s comfort was her first priority — she took breaks on the LO’s schedule and gave us relaxing spaces to nurse, change, or clean up. Included in with the dozens of baby-​only shots were photos with him with each of us parents and the family together.
On top of her patience, professionalism, and artistry, Angela offers some of the best deals around. Reasonable prices! If you purchase all of the session photos, you’ll receive unrestricted use of all of the image files (20−50+). This is highly unusual — most photographers only allow you to pick 3 – 5 of the images per session.
I ended up buying an additional 3 sessions with Angela for our son’s first year. We’ll go to her again when we want family portraits and if we have other children. Beautiful work and highly recommended!

Angela is amazing… best photographer we’ve ever worked with by miles. She works hard, charges a fair price, creates amazing work, is fabulously patient with kids, knows some great spots around San Diego to get some great shots, on and on. I found out about Angela through a Groupon that she was advertizing for newborn photography. Just having had a baby and having took a TONS of photos myself I wanted to get some professional ones done and then the Groupon of the day popped up so I looked at her website and decided to give it a go.
My experience with Angela was FANTASTIC. Not only was she professional and got me prepared for our session with her e-​mails (which I think answered every question I could have asked) but the day of the shoot she was GREAT. She was very patient with my little man (and me) and made me feel at ease. She used a variety of props (she has MANY to chose from) and all I can say is the pictures turned out so so wonderful. In fact my mom could not get off her website the entire time they were posted there. Needless to say I got them all (for an extra $$) and it was worth it. I made some calendars for grandma and even a coffee mug. I would highly recommend her as she is a great photographer #1 as well as very professional and through.

Angela at Casually Candid is amazing! She captured the spirit of my daughter perfectly. She has a great eye and is able to do creative enhancements of the photographs. I have pictures that I will always treasure!
