I went here to pick up some new strings for my acoustic guitar. The woman working behind the counter was very helpful and informative about the different brands of guitar strings as well as what gauge of strings to get. She was nice enough not to up sell me and recommend the extremely expensive ones that I probably would have bought. But instead told me that the D’Addario strings were probably just as good as the more expensive brand. I ended up getting the wrong string gauge and went back the next day to exchange them out for a thicker gauge and she was more than happy to exchange my strings for me. Overall very good service, friendly staff and great experience! Would recommend to a friend over going to guitar center any day!

Brought my 3 – 5 yr old acoustic guitar that has been played minimally to get it checked out and restrung. David took a look at it and recommended fixing the action and we discussed what gague of strings to use. We decided on a light gauge string so as to be kinder to my non-calloused fingers as I get back into the whole guitar playing thing. David could have told me anything and I would have probably just gone for it, but he didn’t. He was complimentary of my guitar and brand and he got me restrung, fixed the action, and did some stuff with the neck. Beyond that, I got to chat a little bit with David and he is a genuinely cool person. Very good vibes surround this whole shop. Go here if you want a more personal touch.
