Maria does BEAUTIFUL makeup. She did my entire wedding party. She listened to what we requested and still gave her professional advice. She was professional and punctual! I will defiantly use her again in the future for special events and highly recommend her!

Last weekend I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in San Diego. I have always been trepidatious about getting my makeup professionally done, as I typically prefer a minimal/​natural makeup look. This was my second professional makeup experience and Maria knocked it out of the park! Each bridesmaid received airbrush makeup and false eyelash application for a very fair price! All of the girls looked fabulous with glowing skin and highlighted features. The makeup lasted all day (had mine applied at 9 am and it looked great at 11 pm!). I can’t wait to see the photos!

If I could give Maria 100 stars on Unilocal,I would. Not only did she make me a beautiful bride on my wedding day (Saturday, April 6^th), she is sweet, funny, and was a calming presence during both my trial (the day of my bridal shower) and on my wedding day. When I was looking for a makeup artist, Maria was the ONLY one to actually call me after I filled out a submission form – I loved that. It makes something so impersonal, very personal.
On my wedding day, she arrived to my venue before I did! So don’t worry about Maria being late. She also came back to touch up my makeup right after the ceremony, and she added some shimmery powder to my chest and arms (and since my flower girls were standing right there too, she did the same for them – precious!) My makeup stayed on ALL NIGHT – my wedding was at 2pm, we did makeup at 8:30am, and wedding festivities concluded at 9pm. And believe me, I danced ALL NIGHT! (Also…I was a bucket of tears like the whole day! If your husband is planning on writing his own vows… book Maria Weiss so your makeup stays through your tears!) She uses a crazy awesome setting spray that they use at Disney parks to keep the makeup on the Disney Princesses. Most of all, she listened to me in regards to how I wanted to look, if I wanted my makeup darker, if I wanted my lips lighter, etc.
I couldn’t have imagined a better makeup artist on my wedding day to make me look and feel like the prettiest bride in the world!!!

Maria did my make-​up for my son’s wedding on 6÷24÷2012 and I received tons of compliments about how beautiful and stunning I looked. Maria met with me a couple of weeks before the wedding so we could do a trial run and I liked her immediately. She is warm and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I had every confidence she would be a great job on the big day.
Maria arrived right on time at my house on the wedding day and immediately went to work. She also hung around to possibly help the bride who had arrived from Korea just two days before the wedding. The bride had thought she would do her own make-​up because she had a bad experience doing a trial run months earlier with another local make-​up artist. However, she ended up having Maria assist in making her more beautiful. She was very pleased with the end result.
I would definitely recommend Maria not only for her talent as a make-​up artist but because she is so nice, pleasant, positive and caring. Maria truly wanted to help and be a part of the event. Her prices are very reasonable as well.

Maria did the make-​up for my wedding (myself and my wedding party) on 12÷31÷11 and did an incredible job. She is a true artist able to enhance your natural beauty and make you look & feel glamourous without being overly made-​up. I absolutely love the air brush foundation she uses. It provides long lasting coverage without being heavy. I love glitter (it was the theme of my wedding) and she was able to incorporate shimmer in my look in a classy way. And I can’t leave out the lashes — they were amazing and I got tons of compliments. I would hire Maria again in a heart beat. Not only is she a very talented make-​up artist but she is also very prompt in responding to emails to discuss your look ahead of time and made sure she had all the info she needed for the day of. She is professional and so sweet.

Recently I had the pleasure of having my makeup done by Maria. She has been the makeup artist of many of my Girlfriends. It seemed like every time a girlfriend looked extra beautiful in photos, at a party, at a wedding or if they had professional photos taken, I would find out that Maria did their makeup! My friends are all beautiful anyway but they had an extra special look when Maria did their makeup and they really looked more beautiful! It was as if she could bring out extra beauty in gals that were already stunning!
I have never liked getting my makeup done. I don’t usually wear much and at beauty counters they always seem to want to sell you more makeup, and try to disguise all your natural features not really help you look better as you. I would rush away from the counter to go wipe it all off. I need to learn how to apply makeup better myself and feel comfortable wearing a bit more then I usually do, so I asked Maria to help me. She was amazing. She made me feel comfortable, she was gentle, she took her time and did not rush. She shared some tricks I can use when I do my own makeup and I felt like she loved making me look more beautiful. She has all the latest and greatest colors, brushes and techniques. She asked me what feature I wanted to bring out and I told her my eyes, so she worked her magic. She also airbrushed my foundation, which made my skin look flawless and took all the red out that I dislike so much!
If you want to bring out your best possible beauty for any special engagement, I highly recommend Maria. Let her work her magic on you! :)

Love love love maria! I was so stressing out about how my makeup had to be perfect and exactly how I wanted it. I mean it was my wedding day I’m allowed to be a little crazy right? She
me ramble about what I wanted and didn’t want. She did it perfect better than i even pictured I have never felt more beautiful and confident. I felt like a princess and the airbrush foundation was awsome it lasted all night even through all the heat and sweaty dancing!

Maria was the perfect combination of talent and professionalism which is what I was looking for. After talking with many other makeup artists, Maria stood out for her ability to understand the amount of makeup I wanted and she was very flexible with my timing. The trial was at her home and was VITAL in feeling good about the end result. I highly recommend paying for this. I had no idea how airbrush would look on me, but it was perfect and she made some adjustments to my eyes as it turns out I wanted them a little more dramatic — who knew?! She took photos at our trial so that on my wedding day she was able to recreate it perfectly.
On my wedding day, she was 10 minutes early and took exactly the amount of time she said she would need.
I loved my makeup and how it lasted all day/​night. I received a lot of compliments specifically on how glamourous it looked.

Maria is fabulous! She is not only professional but is beautiful to look at! She made my special day something I will never forget and her prices are very reasonable. I have even used her for special occasions because she makes me look glamorous. I recommend Maria highly!

What a great professional! I would definitely recommend Maria to any girls in my life. I got so many complements from family and friends at my reception. I also did airbrush foundation for the first time and thought it turned out amazing. I would go to Maria again and again at Bootleg Rouge. :)
