Bonded Window Coverings

This was the company that my apartment complex picked to replace my blinds. Aston was very polite and quick with his service. I was very pleased with his work and would definitely recommend this company to other people.

Terrible service. They couldn’t be bothered to clean up after themselves. They just left the window sills full of dust and they couldn’t take two seconds to rehang the valences they took off. Seriously. They just had to put them back on the hooks. A little friendliness and customer service could go a long way with this company.

My experience with Bonded Windows was absolutely horrible.
They were rude, unprofessional and unprepared.
Also, tried to sell me brand new blinds when all I needed was a $ 25 dollar part replaced.
Luckily I happened upon Blind Speed/​Sparkle Blinds 619−286−9453.
They fixed the blind in 5 minutes flat.
I will NEVER call or use Bonded Windows again.
What a shame.

I own a condo in San Diego and I needed to have a set of broken blinds replaced. My then property manager (who is no longer my property manager) provided me with an estimate from Bonded Window Coverings. I was under the impression that the window had already been measured and all I had to do was call and order the installation. I called to set up a time and they had to call me back after checking to see if they had blinds in stock or would have to order them. They called me back to let me know they did have the blinds in stock and that we could go ahead and schedule the installation. I set up a time when my tenants were out of the house, so they left a key under the mat. Upon returning home, it didn’t even appear that anyone had been there. I received no call from the company. I had to follow up with them in order to find out that they had come, discovered that the blinds were the wrong size and simply returned back to the store. They said I could go ahead and order blinds that would fit and it would only be $ 6 more expensive. Did that mean that I’d only have to cover the additional $ 6? No. That meant that they were not going to refund the $ 85 I had already been charged for for the first set of blinds, and then charge me an additional $ 91 on top of that for the new blinds. They insisted that the original blinds were a special order so they couldn’t return it for me, even though when I originally called, they already had them in stock (so special order? Hmm, I don’t think so). Turns out someone who had worked for my old property manager had given them the wrong dimensions. However, fully knowing that it wasn’t my mistake, they are perfectly ok screwing me over for $ 85 for blinds that I can’t use. But, they did offer to drop off the (wrong-​sized) blinds to my house. Gee, thanks! And you know what they said to me? «Sounds like your old property manager was trying to screw you over, that’s too bad!» Really, that’s how you want to do business???

Working with Bonded Window Coverings was a great experience. Plenty of samples and price ranges to work with. I really appreciate the quality of the product and I received exactly what I ordered and the installation was exactly what I expected — no delays or issues. I really appreciate Lee and his team, they found creative ways to save money on my drapery/​blind project. Highly recommend this company. Great customer service and followup.
