History

Established in 2009.

Shaun McMahon — owner and operator of Boat Bed and Breakfast San Diego, has over 25 years of experience in the maritime industry. As the General Manager of Shelter Cove Marina, she had a dream — a dream to share her love of the ocean, yachting, and the city she loves with others. Her passion started with just one yacht — Slipaway — and has grown to five yachts currently, with plans to expand soon. Please visit our site for more details.

Business Owner

Hi my name is Shaun. I am a Southern Californian, born and raised, I love staying active and enjoy spending as much time with my son as possible. I’ve worked in the travel and real estate industries and have experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly with places I have personally visited and I bring all that experience to the table with all of my rental properties.

I love to scuba dive, sail, and I try to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. I love all the varieties of activities that nature has provided us with here in Southern California, and I want to share that experience with you.

Whether on the slopes at Big Bear in one of our many cabins and condos, on the water in San Diego on our growing fleet of yacht B&B’s, or enjoying the view of the Pacific Ocean at Coronado Shores, I strive to ensure that you have the best vacation or getaway possible.
