Alex and her wonderful team put together the flowers for my wedding at the beginning of October. From our very first meeting, she understood the type of look that I was going for and she sketched some great design ideas. Throughout the whole process, Alex was very professional and helpful. Our wedding was at the Rancho Bernardo Inn– it is a beautiful setting to start off with but she made it look incredible. The ceremony was outside and the canopy or ‘chuppah’ that we got married under was stunning. The reception was inside a ballroom and I couldn’t believe how nice she made all the tables look. She also decorated my wedding cake with flowers really elegantly. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend her services to any other bride that is interested in having beautiful flowers at their wedding.

WOW, Alex and her team are amazing! My daughter and I knew from the moment we walked into Blush Botanical’s office that we had found our florist for my daughter’s October wedding. Once we met Alex we booked her right away. She really has a knack for listening to what the bride wants and offering up great suggestions. Her knowledge about all things weddings was invaluable to me as the MOB. I leaned on her more then I should have but she answered every question and always was encouraging and polite. She went above and beyond helping with every detail and I had every confidence our flowers would look beautiful. Our wedding was this past Saturday and she made our vision a reality and everything looked amazing. I would highly recommend Alex and her team!

Blush Botanicals was my first option and only option when it came to florals. Their published work dazzled me and I just envisioned my reception with their lush and opulent florals. When I met Alex I felt soo confident in my choice. I knew she was my dream flower girl! I knew she knew exactly what I dreamed and imagined and she did it even better than I imagined. Never ever did I have to tell her «no I don’t like that» to any of the suggestions she made. She inspired me, and she basically designed my wedding. She took care of the florals and the linen design and order. I just gave her my theme, the colors and she went from there. All I had to do was say «ok!» Now when it came to budget, I completely went over mine but only because it was hard to say no to such beautiful ideas. She was never pushy! In fact I was the one that kept adding more and more because I knew whatever I asked her to make would be done beautifully and it really was. My guests were just amazed with the florals. It was a Gatsby Theme and it was just beautiful. I can’t thank her enough. I had last minute flower girls and on the night before I asked Alex if she can provide a couple roses or any flowers for my 5 flower girls… I was prepared for her to tell me it was too last minute (because it was!) and she answered back not to worry that she would figure something out. The next day my girls had little mini rose bouquet with ribbon! Thank you so so so much.

Alex is one of the sweetest, most talented people in the world. From the second I saw her website I knew she could bring our vision to light. My mom and I drove to SD to meet her and we hit it off right away. She has so much knowledge and gave us great advice after hearing our ideas. She has done many weddings at our location at L’Auberge Del Mar so that was super helpful during the planning process. When we did our mockup seeing the flowers in person just melted my heart, it was actually happening. We decided to add candles and smaller arrangements to the bottom of our large arrangements and changed the linens based on Alex’s advice and it turned out beautifully. The flowers were so gorgeous that we moved flowers from each location to another at L’Auberge so we could enjoy them the entire wedding, We couldn’t have asked for a more beautful and perfect day. Alex will make your vision a reality.

We hired Blush Botanicals to do our florals at our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum a few weeks ago. Let me start by saying Alex (the owner) is so easy to work with, VERY on top of it! Anytime I would email her with questions she would almost IMMEDIATELY reply back.
I have always loved flowers, and knew they are a must at a wedding, but did not want to spend a fortune on them. I gave Alex a budget, she made sure to keep the cost in line! Let me just say… the flowers MADE the appearance of my wedding. Simply stunning. My husband and I were completely blown away by just how awesome every arrangement looked. Our guest could not stop complimenting and saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever seen, and the florals… THE FLORALS!!!

I hired Blush Botanicals for my wedding in Rancho Santa Fe and was very happy with the way everything turned out! Going into the appointment I was all over the place about what I wanted, and a bit clueless when it came to flowers. Alex was patient with me, helped read my mind at times, and ultimately the vision I was looking for came out on our wedding day. Our guests loved the flowers, and my bouquet as well as my bridesmaids bouquets were stunning. Would definitely recommend Alex to a friend. You’ll be happy you booked her!

I’m overdue for a review, but better late than never! We hired Blush Botanicals for our wedding at the Park Hyatt Aviara back in July and were absolutely blown away by the quality of their work and professionalism. We interviewed several florists during our process and Blush was head and shoulders above the competition in terms of originality and overall look. We worked very closely with Alex for over 8 months and she was always extremely responsive to our emails /​phone calls and on top of all of our requests, including the numerous changes to our designs. The finished product on the day of our wedding was breathtaking and exceeded our expectations (which were already very high) — they definitely delivered on our vision and then some. I could tell our guests were also impressed based on all positive feedback we received. We can’t thank Blush Botanicals enough for making our special day extra special and I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

My wife and I had Blush do our wedding last weekend, it was incredible and perfect! We were recommended to meet with them by our coordinators — Luxe Events. Not only did we receive so many compliments about uniqueness of the flowers and the centerpiece arrangements from our guests, but Liz and I were amazed at how everything looked all together. It was a pleasure meeting and working with the girls from Blush. It wasn’t easy planning for our wedding when we got married during a time when many of the flowers I hoped for were out of season (January wedding). But they came through on making beautiful pieces and provided amazing florals for our special day. (See photos for altar pieces.) Prices were reasonable, and ultimately on the big day, the flowers did not disappoint.

We hired Blush Botanicals for our wedding at The Estancia Hotel, in La Jolla and they were personally the biggest surprise on our wedding day — it was above our expectations, it was just so good. They decorated the tree we got married under, and it turned out to be spectacular. We talked about a few details while we met with them, but we definitely didn’t expect it to be THIS good. All of our guests told us how exceptional it was and that they’ve never been to a wedding that looks this good, they even told us it was like being in a dream. The ceremony site was so perfect, from the petals on the floor to the basket for our flower girl.
Overall price was right, all of our florals were absolutely stunning, everything was very detailed and perfect. We can keep going for a long time, we have a lot of good things to say — we highly recommend Blush Botanicals. Thanks for making our wedding day the best day of our life :)

I have gotten to see how amazing Blush Botanicals gals really are. I just got married, and they were amazing, even though I did not use them for my full florist. I had an emergency at my rehearsal dinner, and my mother in law insisted on having centerpeices the day of the rehearsal. My florist could not accomodate the order, but my Coordinator Rachel Leber of I Do… Weddings! recommended Blush Botanicals. Alex and Brittany were fantastic. They were able to come up with something last minute that looked amazing! Thank you so much to the Blush Girls.

We used Blush Botanicals for our wedding and Alex and Brittany were simply amazing to work with. Not only did they provide the most beautiful flowers and décor we have ever seen, they were so pleasant throughout the entire process. They listened to everything we wanted and gave their own amazing insight into ideas we had not even considered. Also, we made some last minute changes and they were always accommodating. We would recommend them for any wedding and event and we only wish we could give more than 5 starts!

There are not enough stars on Unilocal to express the absolute love and respect I have for the work of Blush Botanicals! After getting engaged in February, I knew I wanted to tackle a few things right off the bat — location, dress and florals. I met with three different vendors, but knew immediately that Blush was the way to go. Alex and Brittany were professional, friendly, SO creative and they nailed my vision (rustic elegance) right off the bat. After signing that contract, I felt like I had hired more than just a floral vendor, I felt like I had hired two friends who cared so much about making my day the most special it could be. They responded to every email promptly and professionally and went WAY above and beyond their job responsibility offering guidance on the event layout, linens, additional décor, etc. From day one I knew that as long as they were involved, my wedding day would be perfect.
And BOY was it perfect. It’s one thing to see your vision written out on paper, but it’s something entirely different when you see it in person. It was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and better than any photo I showed them for inspiration. When mine and the bridesmaids bouquets were delivered to the room, I nearly started crying. I had never seen anything so beautiful… that is until I got to the reception. The florals were overwhelmingly gorgeous. Everyone commented on them all night and I continue to get compliments from guests. I wish flowers lived forever so I could still enjoy those beautiful arrangements.
If you are getting married or hosting an event, I HIGHLY recommend Blush Botanicals. They will bring your vision to life in a way you could never imagine. I hope I have an opportunity to work with these wonderful girls again.

I met with Alex and Brittany very early on in the wedding planning process. We clicked right away and I knew I would enjoy working with them. Over the next two years, they answered all my questions and emails (and trust me, there were a lot) and helped me come up with floral design for our wedding. I had seen so much of their work, I knew I would be happy on my wedding day, but it was even more than I expected. Everything was amazing. My bridal bouquet was the most gorgeous bouquet I have ever seen. Guests kept telling me how beautiful the centerpieces were. They were a huge part in the overall fell and experience of the wedding. It would not have been the same without them.
Alex and Brittany were professional, prompt, and so much fun to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who wants to be surrounded by gorgeous flowers on their wedding day.

Blush Botanicals did amazing flowers on my wedding day! Alex and Britney were really great to work with. Their studio is so cute and I felt like they really understood what I wanted right away. They even let me do a mock-​up so I could make sure what I was envisioning in my head was what they had too. They helped me take my dreams and make them a reality. Prior to the wedding I didn’t really care too much about my own bouquet — I gave them a couple of pics of things I liked for inspiration but just wanted something simple that would look good with everything else. What they made was so beautiful! I was obsessed with my bouquet and carried it around all night and kept in a vase at home after the wedding for a few days because it was pretty! They were really great to work with and I will definitely hire them again next time I need flowers for an event.

I could go on and on but I’ll make it short and sweet. When I met Alex and Brittany I was already confident they would make our Wedding beautiful and create the vision I wanted (Old Hollywood). They knew what they were talking about and they knew and suggested what would make my wedding the vision I wanted it to be. They are just amazing and so sweet. The day of my wedding, (10÷1÷11) was so beautiful and we got so many compliments on how gorgeous the centerpieces were. I highly recommend them! You can definitely count on them. We didnt have to worry about a thing that day! You guys are awesome!

These girls are young, hip and eager to please. They did the flower arrangements for my sister’s wedding and it was stunning. They helped her choose the right flowers on my parents’ limited budget and the bouquets and dining room looked like a million bucks. You can just give them colors or a theme and they will work their magic, or you can ask for certain flowers or colors or whatever. They basically give what you ask for.

Alex and Brittany from Blush were a great addition to the team my husband and I chose to work with for our wedding day. When I met the girls I instantly connected with them on a personal and professional level and I knew that they were as interested in our aesthetic as they could possibly be and that they would create a beautiful backdrop to our wedding day.
As the bride I had moments of going back and forth with them on decisions several times and not once did I ever feel that I was a burden to them. The girls are extremely warm and engaging, knowledgable and above all else professional. On the wedding day the girls made several trips to both our ceremony and reception site to deliver the flowers and to take the flowers that they delivered and set up at the church to the reception site to set up for additional use. Our arrangements for the church ceremony were used for our reception as well and the girls at blush executed this transition seamlessly and basically allowed me to monopolize on the amount of arrangements at the reception. I had a last minute change in bridal bouquet ribbon color for my bouquet as well as bridesmaids and Alex and Brittany made the change happen the morning of the big day! The reception flowers were phenomenal!
In addition to the arrangements, their rentals are far superior to anything I have ever seen anywhere else. I feel any bride would be blessed to have such beautiful flowers at her wedding. I know that we made the right choice to go with blush, the girls were so kind and dear to me throughout the year of planning I feel more like friends with them rather than their client. I feel that my choices for wedding vendors were chosen through several hours of research (magazines, wedding sites, theknot, GWS, SMP, etc…) If you are a savvy bride and are looking for a florist that offers highly textured, unique and bold bouquets this is a place to check out on your search for the perfect florist.

Blush Botanicals = Over priced and over hyped.
I recently experience first hand the poor customer service that they provided a bride with.
Prior to the contract being signed and the flowers delivered, the customer service was spot on. They were attentive, friendly, and willing to earn the customer’s business.
As soon as there was an issue with the flowers, everything mentioned above went out the window. The bride had clearly stated that her theme color for her wedding was orange. The problem: there was orange everywhere else, but in her bridal bouquet (quite possibly the most important flower arrangement of the wedding day). When the bride called to state her concern, Blush Botanical was standoffish and quite frankly rude. They did offer one solution, to add orange orchid to the bouquet (but Blush Botanical said that it may die on the day of the wedding). Who wants dead flowers in their bouquet?
Three Members of the wedding party rush to Blush Botanicals to find a more reasonable solution to the problem. Blush Botanicals once again state that they can not do anything, because to switch out the flowers for orange flowers would be time consuming. They could only add the orchids, because that did not require taking apart the bouquet. At that point there was no other solution, because some flowers was better then no flowers. A member of Blush Botanicals rolled her eyes, while she reluctantly added the orchids.
For such expensive flowers, you would expect nothing but the freshest flowers. The flowers look wilted and sad. In this case, $$$ did not equal quality.
People please save yourself the grief and go elsewhere.
