I recommend Jessica without reservation. My husband and I are so pleased to have had her as our wedding planner. She was fantastic in every way and our wedding was perfect thanks to her oversight. I was originally going to hire her only for «day of» wedding coordination, but thank goodness I snapped to my senses and had her help earlier.

Jessica at Bluestocking Weddings and Events is AMAZING! I knew within minutes after meeting her that I wanted her to help us for our November 7^th wedding. In fact I hired her on the spot. We hired her for the «month of wedding coordination» services and it was the best decision I made. Jessica was beyond helpful and I never could have pulled off the wedding of my dreams without her!
As part of her services, Jessica took over all vendor communication, created a detailed timeline, and made sure everything ran smoothly for the rehearsal and the big day! But she did so much more than that, she frequently checked in with me during the entire planning process and made herself available to me to answer many of my planning questions. She helped me with my vendor selections, invitations, menu, program, the list goes on and on and I have nothing but great things to say about every interaction with her. She contacted and worked with our wedding party to ensure everyone knew exactly what to expect and where they needed to be and when… it was amazing. She is truly a gem and was so incredibly helpful. I absolutely LOVE her (if that isn’t clear yet)
Jessica is the queen of logistics and can make any scenario work… We wanted a traditional Greek wedding and my fiancé was insistent in having live music for our entire wedding… We hired two bands and logistically I had no clue how we were ever going to pull this off… Luckily we had Jessica to work with both bands and she made it work in a way that worked for both bands and our guests absolutely loved it. We had a perfect blend of fun American music and the traditional Greek music for the classic Greek dancing!
She pulled a miracle for me when the day before my wedding we realized I didn’t hire a chanter which was a critical part of the ceremony… She somehow pulled it off and was able to talk the woman into being a part of our ceremony literally the day before my wedding!
She is incredibly sweet, creative, attentive, flexible, detail-​oriented and the queen of logistics! She remains in contact with you through the entire planning process, is super responsive and has great ideas.
I could honestly go on and on about how amazing she is and how any bride would be lucky to have her by your side! Thank you, Jessica, from the bottom of my heart for everything you did for us!!!
I would ABSOLUTELY advise any bride who wants to enjoy their day with no stress to hire Jessica NOW! There is no need to look anywhere else. She will go above and beyond for you and will take your wedding as seriously as you do!

Jessica was amazing! I had her as «The Day of Coordinator» and she took over everything two weeks before. I had a Halloween wedding and she even dressed up to join in!!!
She was completely professionally and for me extremely personable. That’s what is high on my list. I didn’t want to feel like some stranger was gonna come in and tell me what to do. I had a huge DYI Inventory of décor I made with an idea in my head. Jessica made it come to life! I had nothing to worry about and on my wedding day and had the best time.
I would 100% recommend Jessica for anybody who is getting married. She will do an amazing job and you will get to ACTUALLY enjoy your day as I did!!!

Jessica was the coordinator for my friend’s wedding this past weekend and she did an amazing job. She was very prepared, prompt and willing to help the bride with so many tasks. She kept the bridal party up-​to-​date at all times which is a reflection of her great organizational skills. She worked well with all the different vendors to include the makeup artist, hairstylist, photographer, etc. She is so sweet and friendly. My husband Cody and I selected Jessica to coordinate our wedding at the Prado in Balboa Park on October 11^th. Throughout the entire process Jessica was thoughtful, creative, and exemplified excellence. Even though my husband and I didn’t always agree on our choices, Jessica provided options in which we reached a compromise where both Cody and I were happy with the product. Jessica supported us throughout the planning process, dealing with all of our external vendors and developed an excellent working with the Prado staff to provide us an amazing wedding day! Everything occurred seamlessly on the wedding day thank you to Jessica and her assistant working behind the scenes. Even though I am thoroughly a Type A personality who likes to be in charge, it was so comforting knowing Jessica was handling all of the situations and I fully trusted and supported all of the decisions she made, such as needing to move our string trio at the ceremony to ensure they were set up in the best spot for the ceremony.
