Bloomingdales

I would avoid shopping at Bloomingdale’s Outlet. The quality of goods is poor, I returned several items with defects (holes/​seams off/​etc.) which weren’t obvious originally. This is where they put the junk — all of their damaged products, so customer beware. Additionally, I went to return an item 31 days past purchase (my bad), beyond the 30 days as they indicate on receipt. However, when I purchased the product, I was told store credit after 30 days, that is fine with me. What they didn’t tell me was even if merchandise has tags and receipt, you only get store credit for lowest price, even if you can find the same product being sold at the original price. My opinion, save your time and money, if you are discount shopper go right across the way to Nordstrom Rack, whose return policy is much more customer friendly — or Off 5^th, or better yet shop on-​line. Just do yourself a favor, spend your money elsewhere.

Service was great, prices much better than retail and depending on the sales they have going on you can get great deals in high end designer items.

very small bloomingdales outlet. Had some interesting shoe deals but not the quality that i expected. The baby department again — small — and seems to be a line of most things sourced for the outlet.
the store is laid out well, there is someone greeting you when you walk in and when you exit. In and out fairly quickly.

Omg! It was my first time visiting the Bloomingdale’s outlet and I went on Memorial weekend. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by Janet who told me about the AMAZING 50% summer shoe sale! I ended up leaving with 2 pair of Michelle’s, two Vince Camuto’s and 1 pair of coach for $ 175!!! Oh, and a bracelet. Kim (male) was super helpful in the shoe department. I appreciate him and Janet’s EXCELLENT customer service. I WILL be back!

This was my first time shopping here. I hate shopping honestly. I just had to get some stuff for a interview. I went to a few stores before, the customer service they provided was terrible. Then I went to this new outlet for bloomingdales and one of the associates welcomed me. His name was Tommy, he continued to help me, waited outside the room for me to try on stuff. Honestly made my day. I was blessed to have had him help me out.

Great having options for outlet stores, directly across from each other! A lot less cluttered then then Nordstrom Rack. Makes it a lot easier to maneuver through. parking can get crazy. A little secret is to park in the underground garage! SHHH, don’t tell anyone.

This just opened not too long ago in Mission Valley, I have to say I’m a fan. They have good prices for moderate price brands that I’m familiar with. They do have a couple higher end brands, reasonably priced here.
I really like the additional off on their clearance rack. If you’re in the mood to shop and hunt, this a good place to go. I found some really good deals and tried on some fashions I wasn’t too sure about and wanted to try. Their clothes and shoes are excellent. If you’re looking for super high end shoes or super high end label purses, this is not the place for you; go to the original store for that.

Maybe I’m just a picky shopper or there weren’t enough merchandise. I’ve visited the place 2 times and left with nothing. I was hoping for more higher end handbags like MCM, Burberry, etc but really only saw MJ, MK, Coach, Rebecca Minkoff. Clothes and shoes were ok. Nothing worth leaving with. Maybe it’s because they just opened so I will be back in a couple months to check it out again.
Other than that, clean open area. Checkout is all the way in the back.

So I am a little bit of a label whore, and of course I was happy when I found out that Mission Valley mall was going to have a bloomies outlet. I know this place has been open for a while, but today was my first time going. To be honest, I only came here to look at the handbags, hoping that I’d luck out and find a discounted Prada or Gucci. I was disappointed. Most of the bags here are great but not high end, and even then, the styles are limited. You’re much better off getting a prettier purse at the Coach or Kate Spade outlets. Or if you want a premier designer handbag, try Barney’s or Off 5^th.
Their clothes and shoes selection on the other hand was really awesome! TONS of stuff is heavily discounted and they have a wide range of sizes. Some stuff is marked down as much as 75%! I was ecstatic that I was able to score some Steve Madden boots 60% less than retail. I have been looking for boots forever and was really happy that this outlet had some good quality shoes for me to try on and pick at my leisure. The shoes and clothing selection beats Nordstrom Rack hands-​down.
FYI, one weird thing about this store is that the register is all the way at the back of the store. I came during a busy day but the line went quickly as there were a ton of registers open. Anyway, My shoes were packed away in the outlet’s «brown bag», and I happily went on my merry way.
I definitely recommend coming to this store and at least checking out the selection of stuff they have here. I really didn’t think I was going to get anything after seeing their purses, but I walked away with a nice pair of shoes and a smile on my face. :-)

I had a great experience suit shopping here with helpful associates Tommie and Kim. As a surfer, I don’t often put on a business suit, but due to an upcoming job interview, I had to get it together. My wife was out of town, so I needed all the help I could get. After getting my measurements taken at Nordstrom, but being hesitant to drop $ 800 on a suit, I went to Bloomingdales outlet to see if I could find something similar. Kim and Tommie helped me find two awesome suits that were a fraction of the price, accessorize them with shirts, belt, and shoes, and I got out of there having down $ 750 and looking just as sharp as I would have if I spent the cash at Nordstrom. Tommie has a great eye for fashion and helped me find things that went well together. I definitely don’t love shopping, but this was as easy and good as it gets. I will for sure shop here again when I need something a bit nicer than board shorts and flip flops. Thanks again!

Careful, be aware if you have a shopping cart. The alarm at the front door will go off and you’ll be promptly asked to leave the store. Oh well, plenty of other stores to spend my holiday dollars at.

High quality, designer goods for less. As they say, you don’t have to spend a million bucks to look like it, am I right? Great competition for the Rack, right across the way & Saks Off Fifth (across the street). A perfect replacement for Loehmann’s. I just wish that the Bloomie’s Outlet took over the entire space, though I am also looking forward to having a Tender Greens so close by!
Can’t complain, as everything was already way below MSRP + shoppers got add’l % taken off based off of the scratchers! Way to open with a bang! This will for sure be my new go-​to spot for holiday shopping! And who am I kidding, personal shopping as well, duh!

I came in during their grand opening this past weekend. This new Bloomingdales Outlet store is right across from Nordstrom Rack in the old Loehmann’s location.
It is fairly large. They did have a lot of additional markdowns. The place was packed! The line was crazy but they were offering a mystery scratcher promotion where you could get up to 50% off your total purchase for the day.
I love discount stores and can’t wait to see what hidden gems I can find on the shelves of this new spot.
