This is my 3^rd time coming to Blessed Hands and ms. Clara does an excellent job on my natural 4c hair! She brought life back to my hair in the short time ive been coming to her. I can see the Beauty in my tresses :) My hair is conditioned, moisturized, SOFT and very manageable. She gave me knowledge of quality products I can use and how to use them correctly. The shop was comfortable and I absolutely love the gospel music she plays :) Clara is a very kind soul, I like talking to her, shes very warm and genuine. My hair is doing so much better, and on the right path to healthy beautiful natural hair thanks to God & my stylist… I also saw her work with relaxed hair and she does a wonderful job flat ironing & styling… Thank you Clara and your truly blessed hands. Highly recommend ;)

This is my second trip to Blessed Hands, and I must say that the owner lives up to the name. Mrs. Clara is friendly, warm and professional and knew exactly what my hair needed. I have yet to find anyone else in CA as knowledgeable and gentle when it comes to caring for my hair. Don’t waste your money anywhere else, TRUST ME this is where you need to be.

Ms. Clara worked her blessed hands in my hair and made it look better than it has in the past year. Going into her shop you feel this cozy friendly vibe that let’s you know you’ll get service with a smile and nothing less than a spectacular hair do when all is said and done. Know where I’ll be going for all my hair care needs and when my daughter is old enough she’ll be coming to Blessed Hands with me.

Ms. Clara is the best! I did a big chop in august 2013 and was looking to get my first sew in –and wanted it to look natural. She did way beyond. Not only did she make sure my natural hair was at its best, but she knew how to style my sew in within military regulations (I’m active duty military). Her prices are worth it. No one could tell what was my natural hair and the sew in. As long as I am stationed in San Diego I will faithfully be going to Ms. Clara. She’s amazing can’t say enough!!!

You walk in and Gospel music fills your ears, nestled in the back of the shop is a soft spoken women with an inviting smile. Even the most nonreligious person can’t help but feel at ease. The atmosphere is a warm and inviting as Clara herself.
Conversation so smooth that you don’t even realized that she just transformed your whole life. You look in the mirror is and a woman with new long locks is smiling back at you. you feel different. You’re smiling from with in. There’s A new sway in your hips. This shop is my new favorite place. Price range is a lot more affordable than what others are asking, but the work isn’t cheap. That was exactly how my first experience has been, and three visits later I still feel the same way! Thanks Clara !

I been coming to Blessed hands for over a year now & I tell you this shop really has a meaning in the name, Clara truly has Blessed hands and I thank god he put her in my life because not only she could lay my hair down so well, she is a women of got and connect with you on any level of life that your going through. She has a beautiful spirit. I will be bring my future grand kids to her that how good she is :-)

One of my classmates, Tillema Woods told me that she works at this place and gave me a couple of her business cards. A few months later when I wanted to get my hair done, I remembered her and asked if she would be able to do my hair.
So I got there at 10am and took me right away. she washed, conditioned, blow dried, straightened and cut my hair for only $ 75. She also gave my hair some life and volume that it hasn’t had in a really long time and it only took 3hr (I have a lot of hair of hair and its really corse and thick). She was super nice and funny and made the experience at her salon very pleasant, not to mention she told me about products that would be good for my hair and different treatments that would keep my hair from breaking. The owner and another stylist came in a little after my appointment started and they were very friendly and nice too.
Overall I will be going back three weeks to get one of the hair treatments that Tillema recommended. I am so thankful that I met her and that she did my hair. It is really hard to find a salon that does African American/​Black hair in San Diego and I finally found one that I really like.
