Big J’s BBQ specializes in slow smoked true mid west BBQ catering. Our Tri-​tip, brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey and BBQ brisket beans are all slow smoked to perfection. Our sauces are made from the same rubs that are used on the meat so it compliments the taste. We believe you don’t change the taste of BBQ with a sauce, you can just add some love to it. all sides like the sweet and creamy coleslaw, down home potato salads are all homemade and fresh.

History

Established in 2009.

Big J’s BBQ started out competing in professional BBQ competitions. The head chef started catering a couple of events and realized he had more fun providing his passion to the masses. Big J’s wants everyone to experience just what the excitement is all about in Texas, and Kansas City without having to leave our beautiful San Diego.
