Decent selection, not super crowded. The picking, sorting, and paying process needs refinement: instead of using tins just let customers write the prices on bags as they pick their beads. He lumped all our beads into one little bag, so if you buy from here make sure you have your own bags at home to sort and organize them.
Overall decent experience, but we did hear him «teaching» an older student pretty impatiently.

Julia and Juan are awesome and SO helpful. They have a huge selection of beads that are organized/​grouped by color and/​or style. They have a great selection of cords, sterling silver, wire, hemp, thread, tools, basically everything you could need for your project. All of your creative juices start flowing once you walk in. It’s inspiring looking at the jewelry that is there and getting new ideas from them. Bringing my kids here wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be thanks to Juan. He took out toys for my kids to play with while I shopped. Who does that?! (Super nice.) You can actually make your jewelry in the store if you want to as well. And both Julia and Juan are helpful with tips and actually walk you through steps if you get stuck. You can tell they love what they do and actually care about their customers. You don’t find that in many places nowadays. I have been going to Beads and More since I was a little girl. I’m so glad they are still there and that I can now share special jewelry making memories with my kiddos. Location is great too. You can walk to the beach after. Beauty of being in PB ;) Thank you for the wonderful experiences we have each time we come into beads and more. If I could give you more stars I would.

Loved this shop which I stumbled upon during my recent PB stay. I was looking for some simple gifts to take home and found the staff there to be extremely helpful in suggesting and then actually designing and stringing several necklaces and a simple bracelet. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend a visit, especially if you’re the creative type into making jewelry of every kind. The selection of beads, stones, etc. is amazing!

Short walk from Crystal Pier in PB near Tony Romas. Got exactly what I came for and more! Unique shop with quality findings.

Juan and Julia are wonderful. We come here every time we visit PB and always have a chance to make something creative. The kids and wife have fun while I get to sit down for a few minutes during our shopping excursion. It’s entertaining, inviting, the people are so nice, and priced very reasonably. We’ve seen parties here and it seems a great place for a fun group event. We’ll be back.

Went in here the other day and the man working was extremely rude, for no reason. Won’t be spending any money here!

Love this place! Great selection and very good quality. The staff are knowledgable and very helpful. I made a beautiful bracelet here as a gift and I will be coming back again.

All beads lovers should go here! I think this place has the best beads. They are good on the eyes. Unlike other beads store, they have funky looking beads that you would never buy or find it useful. Here, all the beads in this store you can make something out of. It’s a «you want them all but you can’t have them all» type of store.

After we went to the «dog and sliders» next door (FOOD SUX) we landed here… this place was a nice time!!! small children stuff in the back to keep them occupied (way away from the door) my daughter made her own necklace and loves it! there were two tables in back (where i sat to eat the terrible sliders from next door) both children were happy, i got to eat breakfast/​lunch, it was a pleasant surprise.

This place is so much fun! As part of a bachelorette party three girls and myself went here both to have fun and make some necklaces and earrings that we could wear with our wedding attire. We called about a week in advance to set up appointments for the classes, which were free and they provide the tools, we just had to pay for materials. Julia was our instructor. Both Julia and Juan were beyond helpful. As we girls are complete jewelry making beginners, this place was a bit overwhelming with the massive selection. Julia and Juan helped us make our bead selections and we were finally able to start making the jewelry. Julia’s instruction made it very easy for us to get the hang of it. We were all laughing and having fun throughout the many hours we were there (we were seriously there for like 3 hours). Thank you Julia and Juan for making our day so wonderful!!!

And I did like the music selection!

Julia saved me and my necklace I wore for my wedding. My mom, who lives in Northern Cali, had a necklace made for me and my wedding day. The necklace was gorgeous except it was a choker and was too big! After a teary conversation with my mom, she called and spoke to Julia at Beads and More and was told that they should be able to help! I went in on a Sunday evening right before closing and Julia worked her magic on my choker and adjusted it for a perfect fit.
I was able to look around the store while she worked, and while I do not bead personally, I was fascinated by all of the pretty and unique beads they had available.
Customer service is big for me and Julia was amazing. I will definitely turn to Beads and More for my jewelry aide from now on!

I’ve been coming to this place since I was five years old and i really love this place. They have classes and a lot of them are free when you pay for the materials. Unlike a lot of other bead stores I’ve been to, this place is much more personal. The owner is almost always there, while you can buy beads in bulk, you don’t have to, and you can actually make jewelry in the store. A lot of other bead stores won’t give you the time of day if you don’t know what you’re doing, or the employees don’t know how to do anything themselves.
this is a great place to take kids, or just hang out with friends or family.

With a name like Beads and More I couldn’t help but stop in while hanging out in PB. The store is cheerful with upbeat music and friendly employees, who offered to help me several times as I looked over the selections. Like Beads of La Jolla, most of the beads are sitting in little dishes, but these are far less dusty. At Beads and More, the beads are roughly grouped by color, with some sections of the wall dedicated to beads by type, like Japanese seed beeds. The selection of beads that most impressed me was all the different pearls underneath the counter in the back, as well as different shapes of various gemstones, like tiger eye. Prices seemed reasonable for the location (right by the beach), and they also had tools for wirework which is always appreciated. Classes are offered on Friday and Saturdays — the classes on Saturday are free if you buy your materials at the store. Sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday morning. All in all, it’s not the biggest and best selection you’ll ever find, but you’ll likely find something you don’t normally see, if only because of the clean, bright, and uncrowded organization.

Good place to go if you’re just starting to learn beadwork. Their selection is decent, some of the stuff seems to be overpriced.

Nice, friendly place to get some bead for all your jewelry making needs. You pick up a mini muffin tin and start putting in beads to your delight. They are cheap, but the selection is so-​so (I’ve seen a lot of those shapes/​types at Michael’s), but it’s nice to get to pick out speficially which bead you want.
