If you are looking for a customized gift for a (girl) friend, this is the perfect place to come. They have hundreds of fragrance oils that you can test and create your own custom scents for anything from a exfoliating scrub, perfume, to even household cleaners! You even get to pick which color you want for your product!
When you walk in, their friendly staff immediately offers to wash your hands in their sink and on a cold day like yesterday, the warm water felt amazing. After, they spray on a lotion to lock in the moisture and I walked around the rest of the day caressing my hands.
A little on the pricey side so I might not buy it for myself but it would make a great personalized gift!

Casually walked in Bath Junkie yesterday and the lady working told me and my friend to walk over to her and put our hands in this sink. So we did. She then did this exfoliating scrub on our hands, and a lotion. My hands felt so soft and nice after the scrub and they smelled great! She then explained how their store worked. She bought us over to their Scent Station, where you can mix and match scents from a hundred choices. They have every scent you could imagine, classified in groups like Citrus, Fruity, Musky, Floral, etc. and even some designer fragrance smell-​a-​likes. She showed us what must have been over 30 combinations. I finally chose Sunflower and Peach as my fragrance.
After choosing your fragrance, you choose what you want to get. They have lotions, scrubs, massage oils, perfumes, anything you want when it comes to body products. I got the exfoliating scrub at $ 35. The scrub is an exfoliater, moisturizer and body wash in one and it’s to be used specifically on dry problem areas like elbows, knees, and feet. They give you a huge tub of it for the price. My boyfriend got a lotion in Dolce & Gabana scent. Yes, they have stuff for men here, too!
You then choose your color. Even the color of your product is customizable here. I chose a peach color for mine. You then finally watch the employees make your product in a big mixing bowl with a spatula, like they were making a cake. They explain everything that is going into the product as you watch them prepare it. I giggle at this point because they use the same technique to make my bath products as I do in my profession as a pastry chef!
I did love this store. Everyone is friendly and helpful and it’s completely customizable. You can get a product that’s amazing for your skin in a scent that you actually like. It’s also nice to go in with your significant other and get some romantic massage oils and bath products and things like that. They also sell makeup, fortune cookie soaps (so cute), candles and the like. Definitely go in to give them a shot, you will come out smelling great.

Why didn’t anyone think of this before? Mix your own unique scent and put it in a product like lotion or body spray. They have hundreds of fragrance oils that you can test and mix into your own custom scent — everything from fresh to spicy, fruity to musky. Bath Junkie fragrances cover everything — Waves, Hawaiian Rain, Pineapple, Chardonnay! They also have some scents modeled after existing perfumes and colognes (CK Be, Tommy Girl, Acqua Di Gio, etc.). Once you’ve created your perfect, personalized scent, you can put it into a bunch of different things like body lotion, exfoliating scrub, bath crystals, body mist, shaving gel, cologne (as opposed to eau de toilette or eau de parfum), massage oil, shampoo, conditioner, etc. I haven’t put it to the test, but their Calendula Skin Rehab lotion is supposed to help heal cuts. You can even pick what color you want your perfume/​lotion/​whatever to be. Green lotion? Pink lotion? Colorless? It’s up to you. The workers are super friendly and helpful. They’ll help you create your scent and make sure they mix your product just right. Bath Junkie is mostly targeted to females, but they serve males too. To give you an idea of the price range: 2 oz. body mist $ 12, 8 oz. body lotion about $ 22, 1.7 oz. cologne $ 35
This place is PERFECT for anyone who’s ever had trouble finding the right fragrance. Don’t like what’s out there? Make your own! Even if you don’t buy anything, you can get a nice demonstration of how to use a salt scrub and walk out of the store with soft, moisturized hands. I know I kind of sound like an advertisement right now, but I seriously think this is an amazing store. It’s really hard not to love a place like this.
